I'm running 747X ver. 1.40 on Vista Ultimate 32 bit and FSX SP1.Everything works fine except following issues:1) Exterior nav and strobes randomy turn off and won't come back on and stay on...even after ensuring the correct switches and keyboard commands are used.2) Installed livery download packages and they show up correctly in the aircraft selection menu, but when you try to load a livery, the aircraft continues to render in the PMDG house colors. For some liveries, a portion will load like engine nacelle paint schemes..but rest of aircraft stays in PMDG house colors.Any ideas?ThanksSamir

Hello,I bought the 747-400X yesterday and failed to install because the installer can not find " a valid FSX version". I do have a valid installation of FSX french version, updated with proper SP1. Curiously, the installer does not even let me show the right path. It stops immediately.Please help.Best regards - jean Claude

As most of you are aware some SIDs require you to fly radials and turnat certain distances from DMEs where there aren't any specific nav points. I know I could work out the distances and turns by creating fixes in the FMC and displaying them but always wondered if somehow these points can be programmed in the FMC as a leg entry that LNAV would recognise and fly. After the 400F is included in the new package, I got interested in the 400F and . . . Hello everyoneTwo things:1- When I load a flight with 747-400X that was saved during an ILS, the ILS frequency is gone from the CDU NAV/RAD page and the MCP is set randomly. Is there a way that I can make 747-400X save the ILS frequency and MCP panel setup?2- In every repaint I tried (default and downloaded) the textures of the spoiler mechanisms under the inboard panels are missing (black.) Hi there, I've been having problems with FSX crashing with no explanation at all! It just go boom, out to Windows Deskstop. No error, nothing to explain the problem. Does anybody has the same problem?Kaue.

I haven't used the PMDG 737 in awhile and finally tried it on my new system. It runs fine, but I get constant stutter in turns and when pitching up/down during flight. I don't remember it being so noticable on my old computer (P4, 2.6ghz). What type of performance should I get with the following system? Hello PMDGFirst I'd like to thank you for such a great product as the 400X. I fly a few other good quality aircraft in FSX (no names) none to match the 747, the sounds are amazing. However, flying PANC to EGLL I was performing a step climb from FL330 to FL370 and was cleared by atc to FL340. I dialed 340 into the MCP and pushed for ALT INTV, THR REF LNAV VNAV SPD was annunciated. As I was about to capture FL340 I was given clearance to FL370 so I dialed 370 on the MCP by which time SPD LNAV VNAV PTH was displaying so I pushed again for ALT INTV checked the FMC and FL370 was showing as my CRZ FL, however and here's the problem, I continued to climb from 340 to 370 at 500 f…

I feel that a Cessna 172 Nav 2 (NOT A G1000) or even a package that has both options would be wonderful for FSX. I personally am impressed by PMDG's aircraft and I and others would love to see a small GA trainer avalible. Hey guys i have an LNAV solution for the PMDG. There are 2 ways to make this work. People who have installed the 737 before but uninstalled then installed the 747 this could cause a problem. First go to your desktop. NOTE: only for people who previously installed either the PMDG 737 600, 700/ PMDG 737NG. Also you must uninstall the PMDG 747 before attempting this. Once your on your desktop go to Start then you will see search on the right hand corner. Click search. You will see something saying all files and folders. Then once you do that the first free box on top it should say ALL OR PART OF THE FILE NAME. In that box type in PMDG it will find files with all the PMDG lef…

Hello everyone,I am using the B737-800W developed by PMDG from obout a month and i noticed this different thing from avery other FS aircraft i have flown before: during descent i cannot acheive a descent rate grater then 1500ft per minute without using sppedbrake. So I am forced to use speedbrake for descnending even when i have to lose 1000ft because if i do not do so the plane will start do descent with a very little rate (for example 500ft/min) if i use LVL CHG mode or it will start to accelerate if i use VSPEED...is this the real behavior of B737-800W or i am experiencing a bug or something like that...am i the only person having this trouble?Sorry for my bad english,…

Hi I'm new to this forum and it looks really interesting with a wealth of info here. Anyway, whilst flying from Gatwick to Nice the aircraft (737-800) suffered serious technical issues and I needed to change the destination in the fmc to an alternate. However, the [altn destination] lsk would not work so I tried to change the ICAO destination on the ACARs page...this would not work either. I got around the alternate issue by deleting the old flight plan waypoints and adding new waypoint and approach fixes for that particular route and airport.
