I love my new PMDG 1900C having successfully purchased, downloaded , and installed it in FSX. I followed the instructions in the FAQs on the PMDG website and it works great in FSX (love the vc!). All works great except that I only see the 2D Cargo as a choice in FSX aside from all versions of the PAX. ie--I do not see any of the freighter versions and do not see any other version of the cargo except the 2D version. All the Aircraft.cfg files look OK. Any ideas? Thanks.David Bernhardt

I have done an fuelplaner for our new 747-400XIt is excel sheet.It is done to minor and ease the calculating of the needed fuel. Hy,Cant Install PMDG747 for FSX.Downloaded from the link, gave me after purchasing.If i doubleklick the exe, a DOS Window appear for a second, than nothing.The exe has 130,124 kbOn the PMDG Homepage it say 133 MB.What exect volume it has?Have downloaded it 4 times, always the same. Hi guys. Would really appreciate some help please.PMDG has always run fine for me and i love the product. However i just formatted my computer yesterday from xp pro sp2 32 bit to 64 bit but there is a problem now which never happened before. I load the plane up and it starts with engines running which is fine. the screen shows up and everything. Now i shut the engines down and after a while pfd goes blank which is again normal but when i click on ext power and/or switch apu i can hear sound but the pfd dont show up now..it remains blank just like this. only the fmc shows up. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling 2-3 times but still it does not work. please help...look for…

Hi there everyone,I'm having some trouble with the PMDG 747-400The problem seems to be that whenever I fly out from any airport, with the FMC correctly programmed and the VNAV and LNAV active, at some time during the flight, I will hear this horrible grinding noise and the VNAV switch deactivates and the FLCHG activates.Also during this occurrance, sometimes I can no longer activate the VNAV unless I reset the flight.I know it is an unusual problem and I can't quite put my finger on what is causing it.Please help!Also I can't delete route discontinuties sometimes, it appears to delete when I choose delete, or move the previous waypoint up, but once I click EXEC, it is sti…

Has this happened to anyone? I load up FSX and select my 747-400. The Airac data loads fine and I'm loaded up at the end of the runway. Engines spool up and displays come on. After about 30 seconds, POOF! Displays blank out. My MCP is still on, but that's it. Hi,Have installed some extra liveries from PMDG website for FSX,have been told which folder there in for FSX. When I'm at a airport and press select aircraft the PMDG default747 aircraft is there but I can't find none of the others like Singapore,Cathay etc which have been downloaded and installed. I've checked the CFG file and there in there so what has happened to them any help appreciated as always.RgdsJason Thompson

Hi all,At the end of a flight, when ATC is providing vectors, the first turn ("WT1123 Turn left heading 340, descend and maintain 9000 ft" I make the change(s) on the MCP, and everything goes to heck in a handbasket.First, the commanded bank angle is exceeded. I'm pretty surea bank angle of greater than 90 degrees is not permitted ina 747. Second, the altitude control goes away. The plane will beginto descend, then start climbing back to CRZ altitude. Third, the FMC will not allow me to delete the end of the flight plan,nor will it allow me to change the speed or altitude. Hi,I have got 2 questions concerning PMDG 747X flying.1. Lets assume I have flown all flightplan with FMC and I have not landed on destination airport and I did not do the mis. approach. The FMC says the route has finished. I would like then to fly to any other airport and to choose specific arrival procedure. I was trying on my own, but the FMC was still saying "PROGRAM ERROR". What I have to do?2. How can I find out about active arrival runway on destination airport, suitably early to have a chance to set FMC with right arrival procedure. In default FSX allows me to find out about 20-30 nm from airport tower, but I thing it is to late for me.RegardsCzarek

Hi,I don't know whether it's correct or not, but when starting the 744 from cold and dark, turning everything on for the before start stage (so hyd demand pumps OFF), I can still move the stab trim.According to the manual, it is powered by the # 3 hyd dem. pump. Still, the indicator on the center pedestal is moving accordingly when I adjust it without hydraulic power.Is this the normal behaviour?Regards,Rob

Hey there i cant seem to get the navdata airacs to install into the 744x, ive tried several times but it always says the current cycle is 7/10. Any help would be appreciated. P.S im trying to install 7/12Brandon Elam

Hello , I'm using the 744 & 744F for more than 2 years and when I changed of PC , I re-installed everything and it worked fine . However , when I installed the FSpassengers and started my airline again and used the 744 & 744F , the airplane can't climb , even with 50 % of MTOW , the VNAV mode is " ON " but the airplane simply goes to a stall , Exemple : stall at 10.000 Feets with 50 % of MTOW , jet engines 108 % With this configuration , I can't get over 240 Knots , and the aircraft simply goes to the stall . When I put the Vnav mode on , even with FL100 preselected , the aircraft goes up to 3000 ft/min and stall . I thought about FS pax overloading the plane , bu…

I am having a problem trying tolocate the nav radios, I can access the Com radios ok but not the Nav radios. I realise that I could use the FMC but how do I initiate the radios so that I can enter for instance ILS readings manually. I have RTM but cant find any reference to this problem. John.

Hi, I'm having trouble getting the fmc in the 800/900 series to accept the airport codes while trying to install flight plans,I get the message NOT IN DATABASE,this is something new what do I need to do to rectify this.regards aga:-)

Hi Guys,Sorry Newbie, I'm running the 747X in FSX (Vista)When I run FSX and pull down the Add-Ons, PMDG menu and select keyboard commands, Nothing appears in the CMD window.eg. when I choose DOORS..........No command is indicated in the set box window.I basically would like to know if this normal? or if there is some kind of Keyboard shortcuts I could download for the PMDG 747X or If anyone can tell me how to open the Various DOORS/Cargo bay etc.I'm sure is there somewhere Ive probably overlooked it!Many thanks for your HelpRegards John(Newbie)

I have just successfully downloaded the PMDG B747 for FSX however whenever I select it FSX crashes, does not happen with any other aircraft.I am running Windows Vista with a high end computer can anybody help?

Hi Guys, Have just bought the GOflight MCP Pro, and am trying to get the interface and licence via the PMDG shop. Everytime I try to add the interface to the cart, I keep getting a message saying " This product cannot be added to the cart. Your MCP serial No is a required option"I have run the checker and I know what the serial number is, but I cant find a way to enter it anywhere. Help would be appreciated .Cheers,Neil

Hello,I am a fairly novice simmer and have been going through the manuals for the 747X. It is a great add-on.I have a few questions which will hopefully alleviate some of my confusion:1. Which flight planner software do you all use which is able to exprot .rt2 plans and fully compatible with 747X?2. When I generate a flight, how can I still utilize FSX ATC so that it matches the (3rd party generated) flight plan?3. What is the procedure you guys utilize to plan a flight from scratch?
