Hi,I have read some posts over here regarding the possibility to perform transpolar trips in FSX, but I haven't a precise idea about, I mean are they possible or not? Provided they are possible where can I find flight plans? I guess FSBuild and Navigator will not help with this issue.ThanksLorenzo

Hi,I have installed FSX version of PMDG 747 and then FSX to FS9 update, because I still use Fs9 very often. But after updating, all radios disappeared in Fs9 {no numbers on screens}. So I uninstalled FSX version and Fs9 version subsequently, but during removing operation {via remove programs} I lost electrial power at home and uninstall operation was incomplete. If I want to install Fs9 version of PMDG 747 again now, the installer still announce me, that I have version 1.1 installed and I can not proceed. But uninstall is impossible too. Is any way, how to solve it? Where is located file, which tell setup.exe about last version? I dont want reinstall OS !!!!!Thanks Jiri

Hi all,I know that the new version for FSX is available as an all in one package, is this going to be the case for FS9 or do i have to pay more to have both??I have yet to get the 747 and am looking to make the move but i will be sticking with FS9 for a bit.

Hi everyoneI would be grateful for a solution to this problem: the flaps on my 747X are invisible!I have tried uninstalling and re-installing with no success. I used the Delta3 (RWY 31) Approach to land at SBFZ (in Brazil) and the FMC presented a path diferent from the chart. After trying a lot of changes, I realized that the PMDG is following the procedure by using the NDB navaid as a reference when the procedure is actually based on the VOR navaid. Both navaids are named FLZ. I would like to know how I could especify which navaid to use. Terry Yingling's Tutorial has no comment on that. The path shows up OK if I comment out (or delete) the NDB definition. The 737kbd.ini file is used to define keyboard commands for various function in the PMDG 737's. When I tried kb-commands I found that the commands are not listed correct in many places.The description string and = Modifier,Keychar, Command do not fit together. In most places the combination is shifted one line.I understand that the Command# (last field of a line) and Description string (first field in a line) fit together. Somehow in my system this is all mixed up. As far as I know I never touched the 737kbd.ini file before. I was installed on my system. I "discovered" the Captain's 2D "Zoom" panel the other day and started using it for the first time. When I switch from the regular 2D captain's panel (with the back up instruments) to the "zoom" version, I notice my frame rate drops from 28FPS to as low as 9FPS. When I switch back to the regular 2D panel, it goes back to 28FPS. With the backup instruments removed, I would have thought the zoom panel would be faster, but this is not true in my case. Yes, I know...I shouldn't be asking for this but now with PSS down the proverbial drain is there any chance that PMDG is considering a 777?With your knowledge of Boeing systems...One can only hope since there doesn't seem to be a decent Triple7 out there, as far as I know. Hello guys.I fly the 737 NG for about two years and the 744 since he came out.I've a question about the autopilot disconnect procedure on the 737.On both 744 et 737, the procedure are the same. I've been noticing that on the 737's system annunciator panel I've been receiving an air conditioning warning during the final approach phase. I'm unsure as to why or how correct it. I noticed that the overhead panels in the Virtual Cockpit for the -800 and -900 versions of 737 are functional, but for the -600 and -700, they are not. Is there a patch or update that can correct this, or is this simply the way it is?Thanks!

Is there anyway to configure the panel switcher so that it defaults to the zoom view of the Captains or First Officers panel when you click the relevant button rather than defaulting to the non-zoom view.I prefer the zoom view and just trying to save myself a button click by having to click twice to bring up the zoom view.Hope someone understands what I am on about.Renzo

Today I was doing some circuits in the 737-700; programming approaches, etc -- basically, I land, roll out, flaps up, taxi to the opposite runway, stop short, program the FMC for the next leg.The problem is that the FMC doesn't seem to adjust its settings for another flight; when I land at any airport and program the next leg, the REF page does not reset itself? I mean -- calculating the new fuel load and flight levels -- because on the next outbound leg, vnav doesn't work unless I manually set the altitudes in the legs page ... I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly :S

Hello everyone,I am using Photoshop to do the painting, save the texture as BMP and convert the BMP file to DDS through DXTBmp. I found my painting is blurry and has some colour noise, I think this is caused by the dds file but not the BMP.The attachment is a screenshot, right side of photo is my paint, left side is paint of Qantas, you can see the windows are blurry at the right side.What should I do to correct this problem?

Hi. I really need some ideas. I downloaded PMDG 747-400X and installed it. Everything went well. Then i started FSX, chose my new fine plane and started to make preflight procedures. All of a sudden my PFD and ND went blank. So i shut FSX and opened it again, the loading screen came up and then small box with column "AIRAC DATABASE LOADING" and "READING AIRPORTS" and then the whole #### thing disappeared. There i was stearing at my computer desktop. I know about dll.xml problem. I reinstalled PMDG 747-400X and used PMDG
