Like the title suggests I

I am running Vista Business 32bits with FSX SP1 and Adventure updates and with Display set to full. When I park and open the cargo doors on the passenger version, the baggage vehicles do not drive up to the plane. They do with default planes. Anybody having this same problem? I have posted this question earlier, but have seen no reaction. By the way can anybody tell me where i can find my original post re this?I guess there is no need for me to write about my Autobrake problems with CH pedals and Logitech joystick judging from the heavy heap of correspondance about this.A Happy New Year to you all.Torben Jorgensen

Hey whats up guys. I have had the 747-400 PMDG program for almost 4 months now and am having a lot of problems with using autoland in the 747-400 program. How do I set autoland up step by step and when do I exactly push the APP button on the MCP? For some reason it seems to have a mind of its own and won't do anything! I can land the PMDG 737-600 and 700 with no problem using the autoland feature but when ATC clears me to the intercept altitude and heading to capture the localizer in the 747-400, nothing happens when I push the APP button and all three autopilot buttons will not arm. Why does it keep doing this? If anybody keep help me out with this, I would really apprec…

I couldn't upgrade to 747x until today. I thought my account was up to date but I guess I may be out of luck.I tried to log in with my old Email account, no go.The new account is not in PMDG's database so, no go, I'm kinda stuck. I don't see a way to update an Email change online.I may have to stick with 747fs9.Buck

Today, without restarting a flight (i.e. starting a new flight from the ground) I had uncontrollable sudden increasing/decreasing speeds whilst in cruise. Occasionally the aircraft will increase both speed and FL without provocation. At other times the speed just increases/decreases on its own until stick shake. On the current flight, A/P is commanding M.838 at FL310, but the speed sometimes gradually/suddenly increases to over M.90 and decreases to M.708 without interference.Cheers, R

Hi,yesterday I finished my flightplanning program for the 738 and I liked to test it - so I reactivated my FS9/XP machine and had a good flight from SIN to KIX . . . and my calculated plan was just fine . . .Today I wanted to fly from my hometown Berlin and started the FS9 and after roughly 5 to 10 mins the screen went blank, the PC was just freezed and I could only hit the ON/OFF switch. I am pretty sure that nothing was changed during the night when I was in bed . . . I loaded new display drivers for X1650 series but nothing changed - sometimes it stopped already at the gate, sometimes during taxiing, but I never got airborne. Sometimes a failure message came up from MS…

I know this was posted in this forum somewhere previously but I just cant find it. There is a company that offers pcs preloaded with fsx and maybe even pmdg products. Does anyone recall? Does anyone have experience with them or other similar companies?Mike B

I am flying PMDG 737 800/900 series. I have read through the manual a few times now but I'm not fully understanding what I'm doing wrong on this one. My home field I like to fly out of is Atlanta Hartsfield. I have been taking off from rwy 8L numerous times now in short hops over to Charlotte. Well anyway..I notice that when I get to V rotate, I barely have enough runway left to get off the ground. I am able to do it, but I notice a lot of other heavys getting off the ground sooner than I do on the same respective runway, even much larger aircraft. When I pull onto the runway, I rev N1 to 40%, let off brake, hit the TO/GA switch on the MCP and off I go. I have set …

Hello,I have a problem with the 747-400X. When it reaches cruise altitude it keep climbing and descending to +/- 800 feet (up and down). Anybody with the same problem? Any solution?I am running fsx on windows xp pro 1GB RAM & P4.Regards,Rayen

I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I wanted to add something here.. As far as my FSX use is concerned.. I really.. only ever fly the 747X.. I fly this A/C 99.999999% of the time, and very little else interests me (I'm rubbish I know.. lol).. Merry Christmas everyone,I searched this forum and couldn't find anything conclusive on whether or not the PMDG 737 (for FS 2004) can be installed in FSX. If it can, please advise on any tips to make the install easy. I can't wait until the NEW 737 for FSX is released; a definate must have for FSX. Thanks in advance for the replies...Tom

I am intrigued by the 2D panel option in this a/craft. Unlike the 737NG, there are no side window or rear cockpit door views just the main panel. When looking to the side or behind it is as if one is on a flying carpet! I find this very surprising.However, a look at the panel.cfg file is even more surprising as the views are already set up for these windows, etc to be added but they have been disabled by // in front of each line. There is also a file name for each bmp! Can someone please explain this and whether it is possible to get the missing files?ThanksIain SmithP.S. As much as i love flight simulator and PMDG (the best of it in my oppinion) none of my friends get it at all and in particular the female ones who think its unbelievably dull way to spend my time they dont understand it at all and find it very ammusing and sad when i tell them i flew to hawaii last night and fall about laughing when i tell them that i have conversations with the cabin crew (fs2crew), and that i did a flight in real time sitting at the pc for 12 hours etc etc with comments like " you need to get out more" & " where have u flown to today?" . HII am running 747X on Vista, and i'm in the middle of a flight from London Heathrow to Johannesburh, South Africa. The problem is firstly that my FMC says that MAX ALT is FL317... This can't be right? Secondly I can't even reach FL300 because the speed drops so much that I am afraid off stalling :S . I now cruise at FL200, (I tried to go higher but the even with a climbrate of 100 ft/min the speed would drop below the "red tagged dots") with a IAS of 270 TAS 417 and GS about the same. I am off course pretty heavy loaded since it is an 11 hour long flight. I think I started with about 90 percent fuel and 2/3 full pax load. Any one experienced something similar, or any one…

In PMDG 737-800 I need excessive pitch and power during turn.For example with 5degrees pitch in straight and level,I need 7.5 or 8degrees pitch and lots of add power maybe 5 to 10% N1 increese 30 degrees bank level turn.This is too much compare with the actual 737 airline simulator,I need only 5.5 degrees or 6 degrees pitch duaring 30 degrees bank level turn and only 2 to 3 percent N1 increes.Originally I thought this may FS2004's nature but people suggest me this is the problem for aircraft config file.Does anyone know how to improve this problem?referenceTop Microsoft Flight Simulators MS FSX Forum Topic #430303Regards:-wave

Does anybody know how to program one of the 3 levers on top of the CH YOKE preferably the last on the right so that it can be used to raise and lower the speed brakes.I tried but no luck. Dont know if it can be done or not.Thanks,Nebojsa

Hi! I have some problem with the radar altitude that shows of the bottom of the PFD. I understand that it show "-4" when on the ground (that is the gear suspension right?) but if you look closely at my two screens beneath you can see that it shows -4 (0) at 131.7 ft but at 132.1 it shows 11. Hey Guys,Just got the 1900C. Sweet little plane. My only question is that in the VC you have the option to turn the main cabin light on (really bright) or off. You also have dials which say something about dimming the panel lights, but i cant get these to turn. Do they?I just want to try and reduce the brightness of the panels lighting when night flying(with the main light already off) How can you do this?ThanksNik

Hi,Sometimes on takeoff using the autothrottles and toga an eicas message appears that reads "engine rpm limit" or something to that effect. It happens right before the autothrottle commands climb power. I have looked in the manual and I must have missed it. What does this message mean? Andrew
