Have looked through manual and on line and (although I KNOW it's there someplace...) I can't find out how to enter FMC information using the computer keyboard. Using the PMDG 747-400 FSX panel. There must be a way. Can someone give me a hint?!?By the way, was out of flightsim for about 5 years after a couple of heart attacks and was dissapointed to find that FSX did not support the old Top Avionics 747-400 panel... then I found PMDG. I am having a problem with LNAV, I have previously posted about the 747x homing to the next waypoint. I posted a picture of it homing and got no responds. It is still homing to the next waypoint and on the MFD the aiplane doesnt follow the line properly. I have posted a pic of the display and what im seeing. Any ideas PMDG support?Kevin H

I've finally found a bug with the FS9 747-400 !!!!!!!!Up at 35,000, cruising along, my co-pilot was getting a bit tired, so I said to him, "Take a rest". Being a decent sort of bloke I adjusted his headrest for him, and was surprised, no...amazed, no....disgusted, yeah that's it, disgusted, to see that the reflection of the headrest in the window did not move also.PMDG, this is obviously a "MAJOR" flaw with your 747 and we as consumers will need to know URGENTLY when it will be fixed.OK I'm a smart ####, sorry.Love this plane.CheersNiall

In the description it mentions a virtual cabin in addition to the virtual cockpit. Is it possible to disable to the cabin? I'm concerned about frame rates and really have no interest in the cabin.For comparison, I currently run FSX with fps in the mid to low 20s in the default AC. I have the Capt. Sim 752 and my fps drops to 10-15 which is unflyable in certain areas.Thanks,Tom

I just purchased and downloaded the 747X onto my brand new PC, running Vista 32bit and a brand new installation of FSX with SP1 & SP2. Upon running the installer for the 747X I get a "Feature Transfer" error message that says it's a "catastrphic failure" and I have to close out the installation.Anyone else seen this, any resolutions?Thanks,Tom

I very much enjoy flying the PMDG 747-400 and now have it for FSX.However I cannot retract the outer flaps -see picture.Also front flaps on wing consists of many black "spikes" instead of flap structure.(see photo) How can I fix these items ?Mal

When I start the 744x with cold and dark and turn on the battery only the left ground power light comes on, and it is operative. If I click the right one nothing happens. They both come on in the freighter version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times but the result is always the same. Can this be corrected?Art StuartKABQ

Hello everyone,since I have installed the B737 PMDG i have this problem: the navigazion display doesn't show the symbol of any VOR i select with a frequency. In other words I select the frequency on the NAV1, the VOR is received and the green arrow points to the VOR, and the radial/course line appears but the symbol of the vor with the name near writte doesn't appear. I have notice also that not all the VORs i select are not shown on the ND...just some of them. Why? What is the problem. Does anyone alse had this problem too?CheersThanks in advanceLorenzo Chiovaro

Hello everyone,When in flight, i have the autopilot set. With this I mean, Speed is on, LNAV s on, Alt is on, and ofcourse the main AUTOPILOT-SWITCH.Then when i want to change my heading, i disconnect LNAV and press on HDG for the heading i want. Unfortunately it never wishes to accept and so, to turn to to good side. It just keeps flying Straight forward.Perhaps I am doing something wrong,Good SOmeone Please Notify me?Swayze(Belgium)

Hello all,I'm having issues with my PMDG 737-700.. Although i've set and repeatedly verified that "Pause at Top of Descent" is selected, PMDG fails to pause FS before, at, or even after ToD. Also, if i execute a hold, the FMC says "overspeed disconnect" and everything goes haywire. I'm unable to re-activate the autothrottle or the VNAV.. the LNAV works fine though..Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hello all. Reciently I purchased the 737-NG from PMDG, and I was emailed the download link. I saved the installer to my computer and began the installation. it froze after about 3 minutes, so I shut it down and re started it. When I restarted the installer, it came up saying it was "skipping files" and the directory was "C:/WINDOWS/Fonts/Lucon.ttf". I tried reinstalling it again, it failed. I redownloaded it from the link PMDG provided me, and when I tried reinstalling it failed again. I looked at the PMDG website in hopes that there might be a patch for this 'bug' but there wasn't. I even went so far as to download the 737-NG remover tool and try to remove any files that…

Hi allI just have installed the 747X.After that I installed the update for the FS9 version.Since then FS9 shows a black screen after complete loading a created or stored flight with the queen for a few seconds and then it crashes to desktop!Meanwhile I tryed to repair and to complete reinstall the queen on FS9, but nothing helps. After I install the unifier-version it crashes after loading a flight...I'm running XPpro SP2 with all updates.What could be the problem?Your help is much appreciated.Regards Daniel

Thanks to PMDG for the 747X. Managing to get reasonable frame rates on Vista after a fresh reinstall of FSX and Acceleration plus latest nVidia driver and overclock tweaks. Enjoying my first ever round the world flight as she is so robust: EGLL-EDDF-CYYZ-KSFO-PHNL-RJAA then onward to maybe to YSSY if I can make it. A couple of observations that you are probably aware of:1)When a flight is saved after departure the autothrottle seems to fairly consistently be deactivated (not dis-armed) CHECK TGT ALT appears in the CDU probably as a consequence. Does not happen in other flight phases. Requires a VNAV press to restore.2) There seems to be a circular pool of light in the nos…

Hi guys,I have major framerate issues with the 747X for FSX only when i'm either on the tower view or the outside view:spot.I get 35+ frames in the cockpit. I have gone through all the forums hosting this issue and have tried all the tips n tricks available including a clean install. No improvement on the frames.Need Help guys. I dont have any problem with any other addon with FSX. I get 45+ frames in FSX with any other addon. In FS9 i have no issues with the 747. I was flying perfect since November. Suddenly a problem developed. during take off roll plane starts bouncing and FsP stops the flight and CRASH occurs.I don't know what happened.I uninstalled 747 and reinstalled. I tried to fly again from YSSY - PHNL , during take-off roll again started to bouncing and plane crashed.How shall I correct the problem??ThanksSanal
