I saved my mid-Atlantic flight overnight using the FSX Flights Save/Load option. Now when I load the saved flight, the aircraft initially climbs strongly from CRZ at FL290 to around FL305 and the speed sags to M.787 with a commanded speed of M.840. The thrust mode indicator is blank, and cycling A/T ARM has no effect.Then tried to step climb to FL330 (OPT FL338 MAX FL380). Aircraft began to climb but got no further than FL297 before settling there. Tried VERT SPD of +500 to encourage it, and this worked until FL327 when the VERT SPD blanked as normal. Then aircraft dithered either side of FL327 with achieved speed draining away to M.783.After 10 minutes, the aircraft had …

Flying the 747-400 with RR engines, I am getting a constant surge in altitude and N1. Took off from EGLL for KSFO at 377.4 tonnes and 331 POB. Climb and step climbs were smooth and appropriate for the TOW. But in cruise I was trying to maintain FL270 (when max was FL300+) and commanded speed was M.829. The speed kept dropping to M.821 and the altitude to FL26.86, the engines would then surge and we climbed to FL27.16. This occurred many times, so I tried a step climb, when allowed, to FL310. I am getting framerates under 10 in the VC which kind of makes it unplayable for me. I was wondering if anyone else is seeing heavier framerate hits than normal. OK, granted this is FSX and everything will be more resource hungry but I thought the VC would be a little better running. The FSX VC doesn't appear much different to the FS9 version which performs great. I've done a fresh FSX install with SP1, same result. (TrackIR, Clear skies on the runway at Friday Harbour used).

The DLL.XML seems to be a culpit to many problems, but I've just checked mine and as far as i can tell there is no problem in my DLL.XML file (nor have I installed any Wilco-products). All changes I make within Add-on -> PMDG -> Options are not saved (e.g. I tried to change if from LBS to KG). I don't get any error message, however when I re-open the Options screen LBS remains selected (and the upper EICAS keeps reporting TOTAL FUEL in LBS).If I manually change the setting in 747400gauges.ini ([Display] WeightInKGs=1) I am able to change it into KG (when I open the Options screen it now says KG and when I "save it" the EICAS screen is updated to KG as well).As far a…

This past weekend, I attended the Avsim Fancon along with my wife and while this has been my first ever Avsim Fancon experience, I must say my expectations were somewhat met. I would have liked to see a little bit more vendors, especially hardware vendors such as Flight Deck Solutions, the likes. Although there were quite a few fantastic looking hardware there, especially Saitek's answer to CH Product's yoke and throttle, the price is real good and fair for such a new offering. Because they would be an inconvenient waste of space, FPS, and development time. Not to mention the fact that they wouldn't look good at all. I don't want to look over to the right window watching for traffic and having it blocked by some chunky, ugly model and most people would agree.

I think i've figured it out... and forgive me if its already been posted. I ran into that issue with the CG out of limits aircraft unflyable error and autopilot disc. for no "apparent reason". I looked into my aircraft CFG after loading the 37 via the load manager and noticed in some areas commas were replaced with decimals visa-versa. So i changed my regional settings in the control panel back to US config 1,000.00 instead of 1.000,00 and voila. Reload the payload editor and it works!!

Hi,First of all, thanks a lot for your wonderful serie of 737. I'm currently working on some repaints, specially for the 737-800.In the released paintkit, there isn't any layer for rivets. But all your original liveries have rivets on fuselage. The problem is the same with 737-700 paintkit, except for those around windows. Mizuno-san,we suggest XP SP2 because the performance on that operating system is superior (we found) than the comparable one in Vista, especially on machines that have only 2GB of RAM (rather than 4), as Vista tends to consume a lot more memory than XP.Our product will run (well) on Vista, but you are better served upgrading your RAM.

Gentlemen:I have been referred to you by the folks at Eaglesoft. They say that a problem I am having with their CJ1 is being caused by your software. I'm caught in the middle here, and I hope you can clarify things for me. This is way over my head.I've had the PMDG 747 for FSX installed since its release and have encountered no problems. On Sunday I installed the Eaglesoft CJ1 and experienced 14 hours of troubleshooting as I tried to stop this plane from continually freezing FSX and in most cases requiring that I reboot my machine.I related my Event Viewer error information to Eaglesoft and they said this was a PMDG problem. Hello everybody,today I bought the 747X. Here are two Screens, which show my problems:I already rebootet the system and started FSX several times, but I always get this result. Every time I start the FSX, Avira AntiVir reports a TR/PSW.Online.BX.15 trojan virus in PMDG_SimConnect_Ldr.dll. But I already read on the homepage, that it's not a virus. But could Anti Vir block the file PMDG_SimConnect_Ldr.dll? I clicked on ignore, but perhaps AntiVir blocks the file furthermore?I already wrote an E-Mail to the PMDG Support, but I don't receive the Auto-reply. Thanks for your helpDaniel

I am running the PMDG 747 for FSX on an XP SP2 machine with a 3 monitor TH2G setup. As anyone who uses such a setup knows, the TH2G stretches and distorts most popup windows in the cockpit. I deal with this by opening each popup and Shift+n window that I use during a flight and then resizing it and repositioning it where I want it to popup on the 3 screen display. Then I save the flight. In the future, I need only launch this flight and I have all my resized and repositioned popups exactly as I want them. I can then move the plane to whatever airport I want and proceed to fly.There is a severe limitation to this procedure and I am posting to see if anyone has worked it ou…

Hi,I purchased PMDG 747-400 n 747-400f recently. I need to know how to open the GPS window in PMDG models. In PMDG when I press "O" for the airplane lights it is not working. I have to hold down the "O" key then it works. If I press "L" all lights are ON. I don't need this. I need the "O" key to work for the airplane blinking lights on wings and tail and up and below (red) lights.Thanks.Regards,Athar
