Would there be any benefit performance/hindrance wise installing the FSX Acceleration Expansion Pack prior to installing the 747X into a XP SP2 system or not?Thanks,Ken

Hi all, I am sure I saw somewhere in a post that there is an option in the FSX PMDG 747-400X to customise the antennas that are visualised on the external model to suit the carrier. I can't find this option anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?On another note, I just flew a short hop from Brisbane to Sydney - the aircraft came in too high on LNAV/VNAV descent and it seems to me that the aircraft is slightly overpowered - I had a hard time slowing it down. Not sure if it's just me or if anyone else has noticed this?Thanks for the help in advance!

Used Paypal and got the receipt from Paypal showing the money transfer but have been waiting over 15 mins so far for the order confirmation email to come from PMDG with the download link. How long does it take?Steve

On a recent fight from KSAN to KPHX (FS9) on the PMDG 737-300 my computer screen freezes and locks up right around N 32* 53.07' W 116* 15.00', right about the time the plane is leaving the Mega Scenery So Cal. I have to hit CTL+ALT+DEL and the error message is " Microsoft Visual C+++ Runtime Library, Runtime Error, R6025 pure virtual function call". A report is sent to MS, no answer from them, it has occurred almost everytime at the same location even with the Level D 767, have not tried other routes, I want to complete this flight one day would appreciate any help or suggestions. Hi, regarding the 737-800,I'm sure that this has been asked many times but I cant find an answer on the search.How can I assign TOGA and AP disconnect to my joystick.AP is Z on the keyboard, which works in the sim, but when I assign this to my joystick it wont actually disconnect in the sim, the alarm sounds (though not as loud)but it doesnt disconnect the AP. and TOGA doesnt work at all.Any ideas please.ThanksAndrew

I tried to purchase the 747X but after filling in my cc details i got an error. Later on, I discovered that the purchase was on "My previous purchases" page, but the download URL was already expired (???). So now I've paid for something I didn't even download. How can I get my 747X??? I was really thrilles to fly this bird at last in FSX. Do i need the fsx fsuipc with the 747x ??Why i ask this is to figure out how do i set my reverse power on the my throttle stick(saitek X52)

1. alternate gear selecters can be selected even without covers being lifted2.groung proximity switched are not functioning at all from the vc as the same in fs9 origional version except u had the option of setting them from the 2d3. i cannot get the displays to show independently when clicked on to enlarge, they blank out but do not diplay larger at all just a quick flash and then nothingplease advisethanksKav

Am curious.In reading the system requirements for the new 747-400,it states that one of the requirements is Windows XP with SP1 and preferably SP2.In my case I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium with the SP1 update.Will this beautiful plane operate on my system?

I want to get the updater for the FS 2004. So couldn't someone just buy the PMDG 747-400 and install it to FS X then unistall the 747 after installing the FS 2004 bonus update. Therefore you have the update for 2004 and you can unistall the FS X and play the 747 for FS 2004. Peter

After I startet the 400X for the first time I had dark screens in my Cockpit! After restarting FSX it works fine! But here is the main Problem! After I restarted FSX the gauges worked but then when I closed a flight an started another the gauges remained dark! Shall I always restart FSX after another flight? And additionally my aircrafts didn't carry any winglets after that

Could not get this to run. Only saw one request to add stuff at bootup. When selecting the plane it spun for about 20 seconds then died. Downloaded again after reading a previous post but looks like same version.One thing I did notice though was that all the PDMG stuff in the dll.DLL file was right at the start before all the other stuff and before the definitions for the file. I moved these into the middle manually and after a reinstall with the new downloaded file it fired up okay with all the normal results.Oneother things is the AIRAC files compatible with the new 744X. I was going to use the 0710 but am not sure if I should or not. 0711 is out as well.Well off for a …

My anti virus prog says it has a virus called TR/PSW.Online.BX.15I have ignored this and goes to setup - running Avira Anti Vir.Nothing on the interenet about this???Will go and see what the 747X runs like now.All the best Denis

Hello PMDG , allFirst , my congratulates ,very amazing Product as awaited !!But trying allmost an hour to open the cargo doorsat the Pax model .......... can`t get it to work.Tried different settings in the PMDG modul part Doors:For Example: Shift C dosent used in FS..didn`t worked for me.I tested Shift E to all Entrys that worked but the Cargo doorsnot opened at all.Should they not open if u use the all Entry command ??Is it possible to use Shift E1,2,3,4 for the Entrys section ?Tried to type in the set command Shift-E1 but this dosent work either.Any help here ??All that was on the GE Model LufthansaDidn`t tried other models yet....regardsMario G

Hey all.Any chance you'd be willing to make the FS9 updates available via download, and not require an FSX install of the Queen ?I'm totally willing to pay you just as everyone else, I could see it as reserving an FSX copy for use at a later date. May I first say a word of thanks to PMDG for what looks like a very promising new add-on.The 3 "scenarios" posted in the Ops section show how the add-on performs under different configurations. These could potentially be very useful for troubleshooting as they might help to isolate the source of performance problems. However, so far as I can tell, it is not possible to tell where the aeroplane was in each "scenario", or what it was doing. For example, were the tests run with the aeroplane at a particular gate at a particular airport? Or did the testers run a standard "saved flight" (and if so, would it be possible to make it available)?So could PMDG please release the "si…
