    HiI have just purchased the extended download packages for the B744 and B744F and sent of the e-mail to the address requested but i still have not recived the link yet also yesterday i sent and e-mail to PMDG support and also have not recived a reply i know this is strange as PMDG as normally very good in replying being that i have just purchased a new copmuter iam wondering if iam not reciving mails from PMDG for some reason.I did recive and automated reply from [email protected] but i would be greatful if somone from PMDG would reply to me either with the download links or just an e-mail to make sure iam able to recieve mail form you.Thanks owen

    Good Morning,A few weeks ago, my pc suffered a hard drive crash, all data unrecoverable. After getting a new HD i installed windows, and flight sim and then attempted to install my addons only to find the dvd i had burnt them too was corrupt. I logged into my PMDG e commerce account and purchased the extended download services for the 747-400 and F models which clearly show on my account. I then emailed PMDG, requesting download links. One week has passed and i had sent a follow up email. I have not heard anything from PMDG about my request.Any ideas guys ?Thanks in Advance

    I have seen in the Airbus ability to make descent at a given rate or flight path angle. I recently was looking at visual approaches into SFO in the PMDG database [runway 19L] and it mentions a flight path angle of 3 degrees and also it shows up on the FMC legs page as such.Does the 747 allow one to manage descent at a specific FPA and if so how? I only see vertical speed control.If not then what does the three degrees mean when displayed on the approach leg in the FMC for this runway?ThanksGreg

    The problem that I have is as follows: YMMLThe RWY 16 threshold information in the wpNavAPT is correct at 432ft. The RWY 34 threshold information in the wpNavAPT is correct at 330ft. When a RWY16 ILS App is loaded into the PMDG FMC it creates a Threshold Crossing Height (TCH) of 330ft. This is 102ft below the level of the RWY16 threshold, but would be correct for a RWY34 ILS (but without the additional 50ft TCH) There is no facility to program a TCH into the star coding so the FMC (ie PMDG) must get it's RWY information from the wpNavAPT file. The RWY 34 Elevation is correct at 330ft, I changed it to 600ft and the FMS loaded a TCH of 600ft for the RWY16 ILS App, and also …

    I learn to flight on the 747 with the german Tutorial of J.A.Schenk. Actually everything goes without errors but on the T/D Point the 747 does not begin to sink. 3000ft are adjusted to the MCP and the FMC is correctly programmed (look Pictures down). The heights are not taken over from the FMC as in the Tutorial described. Why not?     Hi, I've been flying the -700 and -800 in and out of LOWI, Innsbruck quite a lot recently and both aircraft really do hand-fly beautifully on the visual approach to 08 with the tight turn to final. Practically on rails, with trim and power set right. :)I've got a little more ambitious and have been trying some departures from 26 which require a tight left turn after take-off to establish on the OEJ llz.     I've been using autoland on and off since I first bought the jet and have always been able to line up with the runway using the localiser button. Well after programming the runway that I'm supposed to land on, in the FMC, I switch on the localiser button so I can intercept it. Lately though it hasn't been lining me up onto the runway like it has so many times before. It lines me up about a plane length over to the right or left, so I've had to land the jet manually, which I don't mind doing. Just wondering if maybe I'm not properly aligning the IRS or something?     Hello all,I know this is not really related to PMDG but since you all are such a great gang I can not hesitate to ask for some advice...First let me start by saying that I most likely did something really dumb so here goes. Fs9 has been crashing on me lately so I thought I would run the discs to repair any corrupted files. Well for some unknown reason my PC refuses to read disc 4 of the setup, I must have tried at least 30 times to get it to read. Well, had to abort the process so of course the install failed which lead to deletion of the FS9.EXE since the setup menu removed the incomplete installation and now I can not even start the SIM.Would really appreciate any insig…

    I've been watching some 737-800 videos during final approaches and I've noticed that there're two call outs for minimums. The first one calls for "approaching minimums" and the second one for "minimums".On the PMDG 737-800 I hear only the "minimums" call out.Is the first call out not implemented or there's some way to activate it?It's weird that this call out is not included as it's very easy to simulate. I'm surprised, after seeing the impressive simulation done of this airplane, that the "approaching minimums" call out can't be heard.

    I fly the PMDG 737-600/700 and whenever I go to KMCO, the FMC always displays on the route age KMCO err: 17L rwy unknown. I have noticed other people have had problems with the new runway at KMCO, but I never really figured it out fo myself. I noticed in the wpNavAPT.txt that the data for runway 17L and 35R were missing. Does anyone have this data? Everything else is up to date, but I coan't figure out the problem. I appreciate any help anyone can offer. (By the way, I am new at flying the PMDG 737, and I just got it under control) Thank you

    Each time I put in an airport like KLAX etc, I get the message Not in Database.The ident page tells me that I have Airac 05-06 Jun05-Jul97-05. I know it is outdated but it should get the main airport. All the files seems to be at their proper location what's going on here, any help will be apprecitated.

    Hi all, I have the PMDG747-400 when I try to use the FMC I punch in some airports like KLAX or any other important airport I get the message not in the database. On the Ident button I have on the NavData section Airac 05-06 Jun08-Jul06-05 I know it is out of date but KLAX should be there. The files are in the correct directory in the FS9.     Hello, all:I've searched the forum for my particular problem. If it's already been addressed, I do apologize, and point me in the right direction.My problem is that I cannot change the value for any of the comm or nav radios in the 737NG radio stack. I've uninstalled the aircraft and reinstalled it to no avail. All of my other aircraft (payware included) still function normally in this respect.
