    Hi all,now I know a lot of questions have been posted about this - but they seem to only answer part of my queries.     DanI am new at this. I see in AVSIM that you have SID/STARS cycle collections for PMDG and also those for individual airports ie KSAT KDEN to download individually.I am confused as to the difference between these files. Would not the individual airports be included in the latest AIRAC SID/STAR release?Also to use the RNAV approaches I see in the 747 FMC do we need to download your files adding the extra fixes for each individual airport?Or are the fixes somehow already included in the database>Thanks,Greg

    I recieved my Goflight MCP Pro today and promptly bought and downloaded the interface software for the PMDG 747/737. I followed the installation instructions to the letter installing the key code then software and got it up and running. I started up FS9 and selected the 744,opened the pmdg tab and connected the hardware to the software.After testing out only a few switches the hardware stopped functioning.For example, i turned on the FD and armed the autothrottle.When i turned them off, the switches on the sim and hardware stayed on. No luck also when turning the alt and heading knobs , nothing changed.Am I missing something???Would appreciate some helpThanks Alex

    Simple question for you folks I'm sure. Recently purchased the 737NG and love it. I updated the terminal procedures from Planepath and installed the 0703 cycle. When I load the sim, I see the date as 0411. Can someone point out my error on why the date isn't current? Thank you.

    I would like to purchase the 1900C. I do not have FS9 tho, just FSX. Will I be able to install the 1900C into a dummy FS9 directory then move it over to fsx? Or because there is no registry entry regarding fs9 will this not work. Thanks.Joe Albertps. I just tried the FS9 registry repair tool. It looks for the fs9.exe file, which I didnt have. So I made a text file, renamed it to FS9.exe and the repair tool appeared to have worked. So while I didnt answer my question, I have tried all the available solutions. Thanks again.

    Hi Everyone,First regarding the sound, are you completely unable to hear the engines start from the flight deck on the real aircraft? I mean it just sounds a little to quiet during start up but if you really can't hear it, then I can live with it. Also, when you retract or extend the gear, can you not hear that as well? About the Load Manager though, I've taken to copying the ZFW and entering that into the FMC instead of confirming the Gross Weight. The only catch is that it ends up adding about 2 tonnes to my calculated weight in the FMC.     Hi AllI have just uploaded to my site two new sets of procedures. One set is labeled D/L UK. This set is a 0703 update that mostly adds more STARs to some UK airports. It will just overwrite all the previous 0703 UK airports with the updated ones. I did it this way so you would not have to D/L the whole 0703 package again.The other set is labeled NO HOLDS. This is a full set of procedures, including the updates above, that has had all Holds removed from SIDs, STARs and the enroute transition portion of the IAPs. I left the MAP Hold in though.     Hi, was wondering if someone can help me with my problem. Everytime i attempt to open the load manager for either the 747-400 PAX or Cargo version, i get a window popup saying that it could not detect a valid flight simulator installation. I am truly puzzled by this message. Just started occuring recently and nothing major has changed on my system.     Hi, I love the 737 and am still learning. I also love TMs Tutorial and have been progressing quite well. One problem I am having on repeated flights is in Flight 3 - Florida tour 2. I can't seem to hit the 7000 ft. restriction at RSW without a unachievable disconnect. I am following everything by the book, but I still miss. It seems to decend quite slowly from the previous 12000 ft. restriction until about 10000, then picks up a little more steepness toward RSW but then I get the warning. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Tom

    I have just installed a who new fresh system.Vista, FS9, all my addons, etc.When I start FS and select the PMDG 747, it gives me the error message that FSUIPC.DLL is too old. I checked and I have version 3.73.Tried to reinstall the 747, but that didn't work.Any suggestions to what might be the issue?UAC on or off didn't make any change.

    Recently I upgraded to Vista. I reinstalled FS 2004, Active Sky 6.5, Ultimate Traffic, various scenery items and both the PMDG 737 and 747. I did nothing different from when I was running XP. I generate my weather with ASV and then start FS. I get everything set and start out with the Cessna. Once loaded, I change to either of the PMDG's. I fly in "Full Window" view, so in order to see the menu or toolbar I hit the "Alt" key. The menu appears but if I click on the PMDG option and then click on "Options" the screen goes black and Ctrl+Alt+Del is the only way out. If I use one to the default Boeings I'm able to bring up the menu and select anything...but as soon as I select…

    I went to the http://www.navdata.at and downloaded the all in one SID/STAR file and now I'm at EGLL and when I enter EGLL in the RTE1 page of the FMC I get an error that says EGLL err: DOMUT unknown. What does that mean? I'm still able to fly the flight plan.

    I have been using the 737 for quite a while without any problem. I tried different airport : LFPGENGM on the Acars page and the response is : ENGM error D195C unknown. No sid and star shown yet they are in as I have checked. I tried EHAM,same story, different number error but the sid and star appear correctly!!!What is the problem?Thanking you in advance.Alain

    I have written quite an extensive tutorial about flying the 747-400 PAX version of the PMDG Queen. It's my attempt at putting down most of my knowledge when it comes to flying the Queen.I wrote it because most of the tutorials that I have read/seen.. tend to concentrate on button pressing.. rather than actually saying what these buttons actually do.. Which I think really defeats the point of the explaination.. The PMDG simulation is very rich and complex.. and it's much more complicated than it often gets credit for..     HiIve read some great tutorials for the PMDG 737NGs concerning the FMC. In the reserve fuel put 6 in, and 80 in the cost index.Ok id like to know how and what to put in. I dont know how he the author figured these calcs. Cost index?And another question is this. Have you ever flown into KPDX using a STAR, like MOXEE SIX, and when you get clearance to 28 or 10 at VANTZ, how does the FMC fly this?
