Did I read somewhere that you can add or activate weather range rings on the 744 ND by editing the panel.cfg file? I searched for this on the forum and on the web, but found nothing. Did I dream it all up?Jonathan

I am thinking about getting the MCP Pro for the PMDG 744 and NG. I run FS2004 with PMDG add-ons on a separate PC with no internet connection. Will there be any problem if I purchase the PMDG interface for the MCP Pro on my internet connected PC and then transfer any resultant "key" for the MCP Pro onto my FS9 PC?Jonathan

Good day all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why there is no wingflex simulated in the PMDG 737NG. I don't fly it very often because there is no wingflex (no wingflex makes it look "ugly" in the sky and unrealistic). Also, does PMDG plan on fixing this? Thanks.-- Jake

I install the first one and it chooses just the C: directory, it installs fine. I then install the 737 800/900 file and it installs fine too. When I am in FS9, I have no option to choose any of the 800/900 aircraft. I uninstalled both PMDG packages, reinstalled the first one...navigating to my FS9 directory, installed fine. Went to install the 800/900 pack, and it keeps saying that I need to install the first one. I also tried manually placing the files in the proper locations, but FS9 didn't like that, so I had to reinstall FS9. I have it fresh right now and am looking for assistance to get these in the air and working properly. Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello,I have a question regarding the service updates and model updatesfor the pmdg 737. I recently downloaded the 737-600/700 and the 800/900 within the last week. Im pretty sure the downloadincluded the latest service update. But what about the modelupdate? Is that something I need to download?thanksfosl

I noticed today that Microsoft announced that the ACE's team is shooting for an April release of the service pack 1 and DX10 update for FSX. They also announced the first MS addon pack in a very long time: Flight Simulator X: Adrenaline. It is supposed to take full advantage of a system running Vista and DX10 hardware.......does this announcement relieve you any from the NDA you may or may not have with MS???????If not, just consider this post a troll for info on the BIG DOG.Thanks,Steve Park

Umm maybe a silly question, I've got 2 screens on my pc with a EVGA 7900 GT KO, how do I get the overhead panel in PMDG onto the other screen?

How do you open the cargo bay doors the 737NG. Shift + E opens the main. Is there a add-on for this? Thanks

I am using the trial version of Walk and Follow. Curiously when flying at night I can see the beacons with reflections when using spot view no problem, but they disappear when using an external view of Walk and Follow. The navigation lights and strobe seem to show up fine on Walk and Follow.I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.ThanksGreg

I removed FS9 and installed FSX, I missed my PMDG 737NG so much I re-installed FS9. Tryed to install FSIIN but crashed FS9. Unistalled both and did a clean FS9 install. PMDG 737 aircraft are still there and I didnt reinstall them???? Everything works fine on 737 except when I program the FMC it does not seem to have an airport database. If I enter KDAL for example I get a NOT IN DATA BASE message in the scratch pad. Any Ideas, ThanksAndrew Williams

I purchased a new computer last week and downloaded the 737-600/700 from a Aerosoft CD. I have the 800/900 software update from PMDG that I downloaded some time ago on my OLD computer. Is it possible to transfer this updated software to my new computer or do I have to purchase the download again from the PMDG download center?sunbear

Hi AllFlying the 737 have been having prob. with fps droping down to single figures.Found the prob.was when i turn on STA on the EFIS panel that gave the hit,turn it back off fps back to 25,also noticed that if i reduced the range so no VORs showing it made no difference.To go from 25 to 3 fps just by tunning in to STA strange.Any ideas appreciated.DavePentium D 3.66ATI x1950xtx4G ram

Firstly what a wonderful plane the 747-400 is and its such a shame I am suffering from this problem that has been re occuring so frequently. I am running XP with a fresh install and FS2004, PMDG 747-400, Active Sky, Ultimate Terrain and GE Pro. I always seem to have an out of memory error usually within about 10 miles of any airport and sometimes when I capture the ILS... I had 2 GB installed and put in another 2 taking the total to 4GB... windows XP only recognizes 3.2GB and when I have my error the memory has not gone over 1.3-1.4GB and the page file is around about 1.6GB yet there is over 1GB untouched memory.... I've created a FP from NZCH to NZWN and am programming the Cape Cambell One Alpha Arrival. I'm all set up after crossing CC NDB then to CABLE INT. The procedure instructions read: "from CABLE track via 15 WN DME ARC to LYALL." Is this progammable in the FMC/CDU or is it flown by heading or how? I have been having trouble with my 737s and 747s with regard to the rubber on landing. I do an two autopilots engaged approach and then disconnect at 1000-800 feet and fly in manually. When I get to about 200 feet the plane banks violently to the right and loses maybe 50 feet. I watched the replay of the landing to see if I could see what the trouble was and it seems that the at the point when the banking takes place the rudder suddenly goes to the right. This is obviously what is causing the problem. As I said this happens on both the 737 and 747. I am not sure if it does it on full autoland as well.Does anyone know how I can fix this as it makes manual landings very har…

I created a flight from KORD to LSGG. After loading it into FS2004. I programmed the FMC by loading the flight plan into CO Plan. Went through the rest of the steps, weight flaps FL etc. All looked good. I then saved the flight to fly later. Exited FS2004 and reloaded the flight. I was suprised to see that the leg information and some other information was gone. The reference to the departure and destination were still there. Without lising what information was gone and what information was still there. My question is should I expect the FMC information to be retained when you save a flight. Hello... A quick question regarding the auto=land sequence. I set the ILS frequency to both NAV 1 and 2. When I press on Approach, the airplane intercepts the localizer, but not exactly the glide slope. That is, closer to the tunway, there is a moment where the Approach mode disconects and toggles to VOR loc... I'm trying to find out why this is. If i'm right, it might be because i haven't set the approach speeds (vref) propoerly... In the FMC, there is a page where you can choose the flap and speed configuration... I type/choose 30 and the according speed, but do not manage to insert it... Why is this? ANd is this the problem with my auto=land? Also, tutorials aren't …

This is the message i got on takeoff roll when passing 80kts. Im flying the 737 since it was released but I never got this message and I really dont know what it wants me to say. The problem is that the aircraft cannot liftoff with this message. You can pull your stick back to the max but nothing wont happen (trim is set proper for takeoff) - only if you exceed trim to the max updrift you can takeoff. The rest of the flight is without any problems but this message wont never get away...Im really confused. Help!ThxArtEDIT: Im now in cruise and the message has gone but the aircraft banks up and down like its kinda drunken....never seen this before.....
