Dear PMDG,First of all I want to compliment you about the great work you delivered with both the 73NG and the 744. But I have 2 questions,1. What program, tool, or programming language do you guys use to create your gauges?, and2. Do you have a good takeoff data card for me?Thanks in advance, Geert.. :)

I may have done something wrong, but i didn't find these in the search and i can't seem to find any at the raytheon or Beechcraft sites, but i am looking for CG charts for the B1900D. I am looking not only so i can better fluy my B1900D from PMDG, but also I am doing a report on the North Carolina B1900D crash (which was primarily due to CG) for my Crew Resource management class in Commercial Ground School.Any assistance would be appreciated. Hoping to hand this in by tonight's class, but need some documents to back up my synopsis.

In the PMDG paintkit there's a photoshop psd file called 700_full_left.psd and 700_full_right.psd.These are great to repaint, because you have the whole fuselage and not parts of it.But how do I put it into the aircraft texture folder? Do I have to rename it?The normal fuse texture is the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd, but I have some problems to repaint them, so I would like to take the full textures.Anybody with an idea?Thanks very much!Stefan

I've been putting off buying the 747 for quite a while now, until yesterday. The price of the download was just to much in respect how much FS9 or FSX is. I must say now that I waited way to long!!!. I built my own airport complete with a VOR and ILS. Is there anyway I can add the airport along with the navagation aids to the NAV Data so it showes up on the FMS??

when I turn the 747 on the tar-mak, the wheels dont turn, seems to skid??? sugestions..Chris F.

I have been trying to re-install 747 400F because my manuals were not updated. I have completely removed all traces of 747 400F but on trying to re-install still get the message -"Feature transfer errorFeature: PMDG 747-400 SimulationComponent:File:Error: Catastrophic failure "The installer then closes. I recently purchased 747 - 400 and am also going to purchase the 747 F. Are the newest sound sets included in these downloads, or do I need to apply the sound update mentioned on the website after purchase?ThanksGreg

I started having this issue recentlyI load the pmdg 800 or 900go to the fms and load my flight plan and runway ( dept info etc) load the takeoff in and press v1 vr v2 and nothing happensI also note that the fms push buttons dont seems correct, i.e when I push the number "0" it comes up as "8" on the fms,seems to me something is wrong. hi,i have successfully moved the B1900C from FS9 to FSX. finally, i have a REAL aircraft available in FSX!! :)it works like a charm, except for one thing. whenever i open one of the other windows (radio stack, throttles quadrant, etc.) it looks as if the sim is reloading the scenery (the 3d view, takes about 3-4 seconds during which the sim freezes completely). the clouds and everything OUTSIDE the cockpit turns into white and grey blocks and triangles for these few seconds.does anyone else experience that? (just wondering if i am the only one)thank you.

Hi All-This is a topic that comes up at least a few times each week. I am in pursuit of the "Holy Grail" of approaches, and a a bit confused with all the various postings on this topic. Could we develop "An Idiot's Guide to adding Kai Tak to the PMDG FMS?" I already have the scenery file (using Kai Tak 98) and it looks wonderful. BTW I am hoping to add Mr. Kwong's Chep Lok today (will it work together with the Kai Tak scenery without issue?).I'm thinking af a step by step procedure, with all necessary insertion text in correct font and spacing, SID/STAR info and helpful tips- all in one reference compliation.Anyway, if we could get our best minds together to help the …

Hi allI recently purchased the PMDG747 and I am very happy with it. It is qutie a learning curve but it is very satisfying as I slowly master it.I was wondering how you enter north atlantic tracks into the FMC? I am asking as there is a VATSIM event coming up from EGLL-KJFK in which I will be allocated a NAT track to follow.I have downloaded AIRAC 513 and didn't know if it was possible to type a NAT track in and the FMC would recognise it.Otherwise, is there a way of importing an FS9 flightplan into the FMC?ThanksT WaltersBAW1100British Airways Virtual

Hello everybody,After almost two weeks of tedious reinstalling (WindowsXP-Flightsim 9.1-addon's) I thought I could finally try some flying again...Was I in for a big surprise..?This morning I fired up my system, created a flight within Flightsim Commander 8, opened the PMDG load manager to adjust the load of the 737-800, downloaded weather through ActiveSky 6.5 (latest build).After all flightpreps, I started Flightsimulator and loaded the default flight.Shut everything down on my trusted cessna and changed aircraft to the PMDG 737...The aircraft shows up fine but whan I hit the 'Fly now' button, I hear the usual noises, I can see that the sim is trying to load the airpor…

Have installed 747 400Freight three times but manuals do not update. I have no chapter thirteen for instance. I have looked everywhere for them in my PC and on the PMDG website. Can anybody help, please? Am I doing something wrong or is my download faulty? Best wishesPeter Chambers

I recentl bought the PMDG 747, but have experience with payware products, such as the PMDG 737-600/700 and the Level-D 767.I am experiencing a problem with my PMDG 747-400 in FS9. After climbing through about 13000 feet my FMC will tell me that my maximum flight level is 15800 feet (sometimes it will give me maximum flight levels round about 16000 feet). So I continue to fly but at about 15000 feet my flight simulator closes. This happens everytime I fly the pmdg 747-400. In my FMC I have entered my correct flight level which is usaully above 30,000 feet and the whole aircraft is started up following the noarmal procedures checklist. Anybody know the nature of this proble…

A problem with the 747-400 and 400F has begun to occur during the first 5 to 10 minutes of flight. Tax, takeoff and climb are all normal and all systems are acting and displaying normal. However, the aurcraft, for whatever reason, begins a steep bank to the right, the autopilot disconnects and the aircraft goes into a spiraling spin to the ground.At times, I am able to regain manual control and get things going normally again. Nevertheless, the scenarion will repeat itself in a very short time. I have checked to see if any failures are present through the PMDG menu and determined that was not an issue.I have flown this aircraft many times with no incident so I am therefo…

Hi there!I'm very much enjoying flying the PMDG 747-400 within FS 2004. However, there seems to be a bug in the prgram as follows: Whenever I enter a VOR + course to track for that VOR as VOR-L in the FMC on the NAVRAD page, for instance in order to execute a VOR-DME approach, arming of the VOR-CRS does occur, but proper capture and tracking does NOT take place after pressing the LOC button on the MCP.Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug in the software?LNAV and ILS as well as HDG select all function properly.Please advise!!Thank you very much!David de VriesThe Netherlands.

Hello,I'm still enjoying flying the 737-600 but it seems upon battery, standy power switch and ground power connection I am missing the fire alarm warning bell when testing the fire warning system.The fire handles illuminate but I receive no aural sound, on a rare occasion I will hear the alarm but still have no reason why I hear it at certain times and other times I dont. I have been using the same start up list for many months and have tried different scenarios found by doing a search. I am currently using a two monitor setup with my overhead undocked, can anyone help?Many ThanksJustin Harvey

Hi can anyone help please.I have just purchased the above CD, it appears to load OK but when I try to load any liveries I get this error message :-"The file C:Program Files Microsoft Games Flight Simulator 9Program FilesAircraftPMDG737-800texturepmdg_airstairs.bmp could not be opened.When I look in the bmp file there is nothing in it.I'm at a lost, possibly something simple that I have done.Can anyone please helpRegards
