I receive the message when I going to run the install . exe file with PMDG's add on liveries:Installation can not continue ... Flight Simulator is not installed.Can some help me to solve this issue?

Hello,I have noticed that there is a problem with the cabin altitudeindication and the pressure differential indicator.While at FL360, the cabin altitude is around 14,000ft andthe diff press is around 4psi. Both packs are in auto, bothengine bleeds are on. Duct pressure is also normal.Cabin altitude should never exceed 8000 if everything is workingcorrectly. Also, the diff press should be higher. And nocabin altitude warning horn even though the cabin alt showswell above 10,000ft. If I go to manual pressurization,I can move the outflow valve from full open to full closedwith no movement of either the cabin alt or press diff needles.I have this with the 600/700 and 80…

Hi- I fly KTPA to KORD a lot for BA Virtual, and after updating my FMS to Navigraph 702 (and adding SIDS/STARS 702 at Planepath) all approaches for KORD have disappeared......any thoughts??? The topic on the MD-11 video got me to thinking.Markus, or anyone else that can answer, what is the takeoff length for the MD-11 at MTOW. Likewise for the landing, what would it be at MLW? I did some quick Google searching, but didn't come up with anything. Feel free to throw in any other numbers you can think of. I'd like to learn as much as I can about the plane before the release. ;)

Hello All;I have a problem activating ILS via the FMC once vectored into and cleared for a RWY by ATC.Once cleared to land at KORD RWY 32L,I go into Arrivals then select the RWY which was listed on the FMC, it then said next to the RWY and then the EXEC was lit which I then clicked. With AutoPilot engaged I select LNAV and nothing happens.I try to engage APP (which should be the logical thing)and it wouldn't light (didn't engage) nothing happened.I tried loc, nothingI also tried selecting the different CMD C and R and nothing.I also tried manually setting the NAV Radio to the ILS RWY frequency, but it wouldn't let me. Whenever I press the keyboard button to engage the thrust reversers on any of my 737NG a/craft, there is a momentary pause in the movement down the runway. This does not happen with any other aircraft.Has anyone else experienced this and is there a cure?My PC has a Gigabyte K8 Triton main board with Via chipset and AMD Athlon64 3000+, 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM. On after pressing start flying to load up my 747, it goes to loading screen and does not start loading up i get the egg timer but waiting for the percentage to go up but no joy any help please Michael

Hi guys,for the last few days I've been getting an error msg when I close FS9 regarding the mentioned pmdgoptions.dll,... you know...the type of "do you want to send this report to MS..."I can fly the 737...no problem...but I'd like to find out what might be causing this!!! The last time I installed Win I installed FS9 but I committed an error because I installed in the wrong order the PMDG aircrafts:737NG, then the 747, 747F and 737-800.The result was a FPS limited to 10fps only with the PMDG aircrafts.Before that I installed the 737-800 the FPS was good.I tried to uninstall all the PMDGs and reinstalled in the correct order.. no changes, always 10 fps.Then I uninstalled all FS and reinstalled in a completely different folder.I reinstalled the PMDGs in the correct order but I still get 10 fps!!!So what's the matter with the installer? Hi,I just bought a PMDG 737 Next Generation with 800/900 add on and I am running it on FS9. Some problems with flight instrument displays. Every now and then they seem to freeze i.e. the information in screens is not updated. I can update the display by closing the view (as an example when using standard 2D view by SHIFT +1)and then when I open the view again the information is updated. I have not yet been able to identify what causes the displays to freeze. I am using Squawk box so could that cause it?How ever this is quite irritating when I cannot trust the information I see on display without either firts changing to another view or by closing and re-opening the view..…

I have the basics of the FMC figured out now thank you all, but can't seem to see why the lil' green indicator of what flight phase I am in never changes to DESCENT. It's always TO, then CLB, then CRZ, but never DES. I am able to use VNAV correctly now and the flights behave as one would expect but again not sure what's up. Noel

This use to happen occasionally before but I would just click on the ALT knob and the aircraft would descend. Now though, I have to actually disable VNAV and use the VS to descend. There also aren't any Altitude Restrictions on any waypoints either. If there were, I'm still above it.Sometimes I also have trouble ascending. I know it has something to do with the altitude restrictions set on some waypoints but I usually have the same remedy; push the ALT knob and the restriction is deleted. Here is my 50th location. Procedures based on current cycle (0702 15Feb-15Mar) FAA Digital Terminal Procedures and published charts. Departure routes to 15 fixes for use without ATC vectors are provided, as well as the two published vectors-only DPs. All STARs are included, most with enumerations for landing ILS 07R or 14 as well as "as published" for use with ATC vectors. I have included routing between STAR and Visual 25R for two of the arrivals for the accomplished pilots. While watching the ITVV video, in the part where they are going through the overhead panel, I noticed him quickly mention the, "pax load" on the air panel. Obviously you set that to however many passengers you have, but what does it do?I'm guessing something along the lines of adjusts the amount of bleed air going through the passenger cabin. Hi all, I have a question for the people at PMDG who are creating the new versions of the Boeing 737 series. I live in Australia not far from the Williamtown RAAF Base, which is where the Royal Australian Air Force's new Wedgetail surveillance aircraft will be based once the squadron becomes operational.I was wondering if with the new version of the Boeing 737 being created, will we see a military variant for the RAAF Wedgetail as shown in the pictures that you can see when you search for the photo ID's below?
