    I have a question that pertains to the download of the 800/900. I recently updated and bought a new computer. I had the CD version of the PMDG 600/700 from Aerosoft. It was ver. 1.3. I then purchased the 800/900 update and it is ver. 1.1. I cannot seem to get the virtual cockpit to respond to mouse clicks. I can't click on anything in the virtual mode and have it function. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?John

    Hi, I just painted a livery for the PMDG 747-400F with RR engines, i have saved them and converted them to the right BMP file format, but i am getting a blank aircraft, everything seems fine, the aircraft.cfg is edited correctly, is there any reason it won't let me see my paint???CheersDan C

    Hi allAs indicated I have a brand new 737,,well several now, and to try and do things right I dug out Tim Metzinger's Tutorial V2.The first question,, Tim mentions that the tutorial, V2, was completely redone for PGMD SU3 and to select the 737-700 with winglets & Virtual cockpit.I have 6 aircraft, 3 737-600 & 3 737-700 but none with winglets????Am I missing something or maybe there is a patch or upgrade that I need?Question,, In the Flightsim PMDG Flightplans folder there is nothing,,Is there no installed ready made flight plans?Thanks for Any answersMarshall (Bob) Gordon

    Ladies/Gentlemen,When entering KIAD as the departure airport and LSZH as the arrival airport on the route page in the FMC, a error shows up at the scratch pad in the FMC which reads, "Err: OSDAN unknown" as seen in the picture.Anyone knows what causing this, how to fix this error?.Thanking you,Best Regards,Aftab.

    Hi All !I have a problem with my PMDG 737-600 and 737-700... I'M not able to follow the magenta line, because the aircraft seems to drift from left to right and wont fly straihgt ahead. As soon as I takeoff, the airplane drift from left to right. If i have to fly from VOR "A" to VOR "B" and the heading is 240, i have to set my heading to 210 to be able to follow the magenta line !I have no fuel imbalanceAll engines work as they should.I also cleared all weather and it still happenany idea what I should do ?thanks

    I just purchased the 747 QOS. I'm sure you guys recieved my payment because it went through with the bank. However, after I made the purchase, my computer crashed so I didn't get the download link. I checked my recently downloaded items in the login page but it said i didn't buy anything. In fact, i did, and I have the paypal transaction ID. I already emailed support, but I didn't get a response. I just got a automated response.   9. This is a question that always bothered me but I never really bothered to ask until my FMC started going crazy (again). Right now I'm flying from Heathrow to San Francisco. Now the UK follows ICAO separations and the US follows RVSM. Also, I noticed that since North Atlantic Tracks are pretty much one way streets, it doesn't matter too much what altitude you're at. I was flying with ICAO step climbs over the UK, and 1000ft step climbs over the North Atlantic. I was at FL350 and descended to FL340 over Canada (Where I am right now) for RVSM. When I set the STEP CLIMB to 2000, I got FL350 instead of FL360. Also, after FL350 is FL370. :-hmmm If I'm flying to or from an…

It appears to be possible, and FSBuild 2.2 definitely references exporting their plans to the 737/747, but I'm not seeing the place in the FMC where one can grab the flight plan and insert it into CO ROUTE LSK. I searched the manual, and this forum, and have not seen how or if this is possible. ??Noel

    I was flying this route the other day with a fuly loaded 747 and found that I was unable to make it with the fuel on board. That can't be right, can it? I was using Active Sky, with a FSBuild route that was (as far as I know) fairly true to life. There was a strong headwind for an average of 76 kts, which a fuel planner told me made the 6300nm range essentially into a 7200nm route(or something like that).I know United flies this route with a 747. Are there times where they are unable to make it? I suppose, more likely, the have better route planners that I have and manage to avoid this much headwind. Has anyone had a similar problem?     Hi,,what is the problem with the Throttle ?Since,I took a flight from city to another (via IVAO) I faced a strange thing.during taxiing everything was Ok,, but suddenly, I got disconnected with the Internet,,I've connected again then connect to IVAO again.... everything was Ok with the connection.But (:) ) when I increased the power to taxi, only one leverof the four levers responded... what a shameF1+F2+F3+F4 works only with one lever !!till I restarted the flight and began from ZERO !!!is there anyway to re-combine the levers together again ?regards,Abraham .R

    Hi,I bougth recently a new PMDG. I studied the manuals carefully and I succeded in completing all the procedurs requested. I have also filled the FMC with all informations required in order to start a flight. When I was finally ready and I closed the FMC with all the datas, a surprise has arrived. The frame rate the I first blocked at 20, surprisingly sinked to 4, making the bird praticly unusable. This happened with no traffic and with default sceneries.In the past I upgradet the ram to 1 GB and I also changed the grafic card with a new Radeon 9500 with 250 mb. It is very strange that my PC doens't support the PMDG. Should I pay for a new PC only to the pourpose to play …

    I tried saving a flight with the 737-700 on approach to KTNT while using Tim Metzinger's great tutorial in FS9. Problem is, when I tried to retry the flight, the FMC was dark, and several flight parameters were not as saved. I tried reloading the flight plan in the FMC among other parameters, but could not match the original conditions. Is there any trick to saving a 737 flight so that the exact conditions and settings will be saved?? Thanks. Tom

    Hi all,I've been flying PMDG/PSS/LevelD products for some time now, but recently, I've noticed that they are starting to skip the "Pause at Top of Descent". The option is enabled for all of them, and I have come back to the computer on countless flights, expecting to find the plane paused at its FL, ready to descend, and instead find the plane smashed into the side of the ground somewhere because it never paused. I've watched the 737NG on several occasions approach the TOD, warn me via the FMC to enter the new MCP Altitude, and then blow right through the TOD without pausing.     Too bad, I uninstalled FSX (as the PMDG team suggests me to solve my problem) but the FSX uninstaller deleted also the FS9 register key.So now the PMDG installer can't find my FS9 folder and if I force the installation then FS9 crashes during the flight loading.Any suggest?CiAo!

    This isn't your usual NATS post. Every single time I fly from the UK to the US or Canada, I hit severe weather just off the coast of Ireland. I'm serious. There hasn't been a single flight since this past fall where it was actually clear. I always check satellite imagery to see if it's really there and it is. The 744 can fly through the turbulence and will bounce around but for the most part, I'm perfectly fine. Today I decided to fly the 763ER instead and ended up nose diving into the North Atlantic.     I have been having problems with my FS Build in that it will only build a propper route with AIRAC 0702 installed so I am having to upgrade all my add-ons to AIRAC 00702 from Navigraph.What is the current status with Navigraph and PMDG products, are there still any issues with missing ILSs and things like that that I have read about?     Fairly new to PMDG QoS, but I did spend a great deal of time flying Aerowinx PS1 (am I allowed to say that here without getting spat at?)During that time I created (following hours of extensive testing) an EXCEL spreadsheet which would calculate whether I could get off the available runway length with current gross weight (something I can't find in the QoS manual) and also calculate total fuel required for the trip allowing for take off weight, fuel required on landing, forecast upper winds and optimum flight level (it even allows for eastbound/westbound levels)In two flights I have so far made using that sheet for the calculations I have found it to be remarkably accurat…

    Guys-I've read in another recent thread a nice and pleasant trick to make the range rings display on the ND. It's a pretty cool feature for me since I missed it and now I cant do without those rings.Here's my problem: I did not find a way to make this change permanent.Everytime I quit FS, the *.ini gauge file resets and if I forget to edit it before I laucnh FS it starts to get annoying.     Below is my original post on this subject. As indicated in the Subject I have reached a point of frustration. That's why I'm looking for a straight Yes or No answer.This process outlined below DID Work for several flights. I have them to prove it. What could of happened to stop it from working? Being able to save the FMC information when I save a flight is very important. That is why I am still looking for an answer. But if it doesn't work please tell me and I can move on.
