I try to read in other topic but there are not much people with this problem.I setup my 747F for a short trip I have ZFW 540.7 I charge with 50.8 LBS of fuel setup my fmc with a crz level of 220.When I take off the speed works fine but as soon I engage LNAV VNAV and A/P CMD L the autothrottle have strange behave.The speed goes up and down and the aircraft goes to the limit of stall, but the strange factor is the behave it seams to not follow the speed value neither the autothrottle even if i set the altitude the aircraft goes over the limit.I when is time to descent no way to let the autopilot accept VS or FLCH it dosen't care.I Use normal TO and CLB no reduction and the…

Hey folks, quick question. If i'm flying a SID which, as standard, requires me to level off at 5000' before reaching the VOR, how do I set the FMC to climb straight to cruise altitude. I can do it on the FMC for the level-d, but can't seem to do it for the 737. Its probably an easy answer which i'm over looking. Thanks,Sam.

Hello I have been looking on avsim for an heat effect for the 744. I have a question can you add an engine effect for the 744 and I yes can you tell me how to add it in and which one is it.I just want to make my 744 more realistic.Because there should be some heat visible to the eye when the enigine is above 20 % N1. please,on every flight long or short this message appears as soon as in cruise besides ,every time i change weather or press alt botom for ex ,iniciates a cascades of eng bleed ,off hidraulics ,and a sort of problems that ends on lost of the eng number 3 this is so common almost impossible to finish a flight,is there some faiulre/ i do not turn the faiulres option{i think its disabillitated}thank uoy and sorry english mistakes.

Dear Captains,I just tried this on the 747-400, just for the heck of it, and was very surprised by the results. I loaded a cold & dark cockpit. Nothing is on at all. Just the default Cold and dark cockpit. Then I turned on the Battery, and External power. Only these two. Then I pulled the start switches and fed in fuel. Hi all,My name is Jason. New on here.I'm looking to purchase the 737-600/7 but I have just noticed the update 1.3, is now over 3 years old.Have PMDG stopped working on this product? I have also noticed that the 800/9 upgrade features an upgraded cockpit and other mods for an extra $USD27. Also, I you can only get the mod cockput for the 600/7 if you purchase the 800/9.So, to have the full 600/7 with updated cockpit I need to pay $USD39.95 + $USD27 = $ USD67.Is it worth it for a 3 year old program, now that Wilco has a 3/4/500 out that is not even 1 year old and at $USD36 for the full version?I also noticed on the FMC manual that the cost index and %mac are not modelled. HiI purchased the 737NG shortly after release and have not looked back since that time - until now.Recently I updated my system and moved from XP Pro to Vista. I loaded FS and located the installer for thhe 737NG. Ran the installer and everything went swimmingly until it reached a file entitled 737NG_LS.bmp and everything ground to a halt. As I write this some 15 minutes later the drive is still grunting away but the installer hasn't moved on. HI, I am having a problem with my FS04, it can't start, after I clicked the icon, the DC3 picture pop up and then the FS quits. I insert the Disk one and thought that it has repair function, but unfortunately it doesn't. Now I have no choice but unistall and re install it again. My question is, will I need to reinstall all the add on such as PMDG or scenery?thanksben

Anybody got any idea how to get charts for Spanish airports. I used to go in via Speedbird on line, but now I can't get in to the Spanish ones. I've forgotten my password and user name which obvioulsy don't help but I'm fairly sue what they were. problem now is I can't get the site to accept a new logon it just takes all my details then I get confronted with the same data entry page but in Spanish. Anyone know how to delete an old account from the site and atart again please ?

I diverted a KPHX-EGLL flight into KOKC last night, everything was okay after a hold at FL230 and fuel dump. Approach was normal using autoland. However, landing and taxi was corrupted with a stuck right rudder. I reloaded FS2004, and created a new flight at a JFK gate and noticed I again had a stuck right rudder. I played with it for an hour, resetting FSUIPC, recal joystick, inhibiting joystick; but, even without joystick the keyboard input for left rudder would only cause it to shake and not center. I noticed nose and rear mains also deflected.I shut down the aircraft, loaded a cold and dark state, started everything back up and rudder was normal.I have looked the past…

HelloI have got a question about the TCAS and the altimeters in the 747-400First the TCAS:before takeoff I switch it to the above-position, then at the Top of climb to the mid-Position, then at the top of des. to the below-position and on ground to the mid-positin. IS this all correct?When I make a step climb, should I switch it to the above-position or not?Now to the altimeters:there are two ones. The one in the Efis and the standby-one. should the allways have the same pressure or has the standby-one allways 29.92?please help meChris

Hello AllI've just tried an ILS approach to Runway 28L at KCMH with the 737NG. I used the BREMN 2 STAR and then vectored to the SUMIE LOM/IAF. I hit that on the button at 2700 feet at about 149 Knots. Everything looked OK apart from the fact that I was pointing down the middle of the airfield not at Runway 28L. The ND display looked fine, all radios were correctly tuned and the MCP set up was OK. So,have I got something wrong? Maybe someone can try it out and see what happens.RgdsSteve HoneyLincoln UK
