Hello,I just bought CH Products Throttle quadrant to my Yoke and Pedal setup(CH Products too by the way.), but I can't get the thing to work with four engines(PMDG747 QoS). Somehow the thottle lever no.2 control the pitch no.3 the throttles and no.4 the rudders.Found some help here but I couldn't get it too work.Could someone help me set it up, step by step, point to point.Many thanksRegards/Nick

In TM's tutorial flight 4 Scenic Tour, I am baffled by an FMC message while approaching OMN. After exiting the hold at ATHOL, my FMC keeps chiming to "reset MCP Altitude". I'm at 4000 and upon checking the legs page, that's where the FMC wants me until Kizer where it has me down to somewhere around 2600. I'm about 30 miles from OMN when it starts the chime and warning. I finally reset to 2600 and the chiming stopped, but why so far from where I was to descend? Also while trying the missed approach at MCO, I am in LNAV and when the plane reaches the holding track, it turns to about 145 degrees along it and doesn't turn, but continues straight away from the track. Hello,First of all here are my specs:Intel Pentium 3.2 dual core2GB DDR2 RAMWindows XP w SP2 FS9.1OLD video card was GeForce 6800NEW video card is GeForce 8800 GTS with 620 MB VRam(btw, I went from 20-25 FPS with medium to medium high settings in dense areas to 40 fps with ALL sliders MAXED out.... incredible increase in performance. 8800 is a fantastic card).BUT............Since I installed the new card I have noticed a few "bugs" with payware aircraft that were definitely not there before. What is the procedure or where can I read how to do an autoland? Do both Navs have to have the ILS tuned and also does both autopilots have to be engaged? Where can I read or give me a very brief tutorial cause I have completed flights fine but never been able to get autoland down. THanks a ton

Hi,I'm flying the 737 and I have a couple of questions re the navigation display. Couldn't find anything in the manuals.Most times when I select the arrival runway in the FMC, a white vertical line appears on the ND with a magenta diamond and numbers - what is this and what do the numbers mean?Second question - on a flight from EGKK to LATI, a green broken line appeared on the ND twice. It was running from 360 to 180 as the plane crossed the green line. Anyone know what this line is?Many ThanksRob

Hi all , good day 747-400 Locked on localizer for 34r KSEA set the approach on the autopilot to app . approach dosnt work , just get a fmc msg . nav invalid . Just updated to sp3 , real simple flight kpdx to ksea , like 83 nau miles , perfect approach . Also I tried to set the NAV/RAD Ils approach freq to 110.30 the localizer freq for 34r seattle ksea . nothing seems to work . Had this wonderful bird since april , haven't landed it the proper way once . Since I've been making Ils approaches and landings for some years now > I just wonder if it may be the nav data airac or somthing , Help !! Kevin , AMT

Hi all.I notice that we can't select an ils frequency on the 747. How can I practice ILS approaches if I can't get a frequency. I understand that frequency are handled by FMC but if I want to do circuits or any other type of practice do I have to absolutely use the fmc?Thanks Bat

Hello to everyone!I'm a long time user of all PMDG products and have recently run into an error when trying to run the Queen under Vista. I have read all of the posts concerning OOM errors and all the material in the Ops section as well, and none of the solutions listed have worked. As it stands now, the queen is completely unusable. I am running FS9 on a Vista x64 system with 6GB of ram, two 2.66 ghz dual-core Xeon processors, and an X1900XT. I do have a lot of payware sceneries, but the OOM error will occur regardless of where I load the queen, even with no programs such as Active Sky running in the background. I do not own UT, however I do run GE Pro 2.0. The OOM error…

I made a panel state where everything on the overhead panel is turned off. I saved it so I can go use it again whenever I want to. Then later on I go to fly another flight and load the panel state in a different livery and all is well. Then I turn on the APU and as soon as its available I hit the buttons and the buttons for Main 1-4 activate by themselves.Why does it do that? I haven't hit those buttons.

Hello all.At first sorry for my english.I'm writting because I have a little problem with 747-400 QUEEN ...When I'm preparing my flightplan, I enter all the needing datas into the FMC.After I switch on LNAV, VNAV.Until now, there are no problems.Then, during the flight my plane has difficulties to follow its track.The plane goes to the next waypoints and, as normal, it reaches this waypoints.But, to reach the waypoints, the plane doesn't exactly follow the good track.The ATC must remind me to turn in order to reach the good track.(But there are no pbs with fmc).If possible,I'd like to know why my plane leaves the track while LNAV is switched.Thank you for your answer.Thom…

HiI have no problem getting my autospoilers to deploy on landing. Arm using the mouse at the end of the handle; they deploy every time. :)Last night I landed the -900 on 24R at EGCC, man land, A/T off, flaps 30, autobrake 2, spoilers armed, throttles idle at 50'. The landing was fine, the spoilers deployed and I engaged reverse thrust and took over manual braking.So what's the problem? Well, when I advanced the throttles to taxi off the runway, I noticed the speedbrake handle was still down, i.e. spoilers were still deployed. I hit SHIFT/ but they didn't retract. I tried dragging the handle to the DOWN detent but it wouldn't drag. It sprang back as soon as I unclick…

I did a search and found that several people have asked about this in the past, without being answered to a resolution. The issue is missing kneeboard information on the 737's. The checklist and reference pages don't work. I have fixed the checklist page...there was no entry for it in any of my PMDG 737's "aircraft.cfg" files. Add this line to every repaint in every 737 type folder (S-I-G-H!)... kb_checklists=PMDG737NG_CHECK This will correct the "CHECKLIST" issue...but not the "REFERENCE" issue. The aircraft.cfg's point to a file called "PMDG737NG_REF" but that file is non-existant on my machine? Anyone know where to get this PMDG 737 reference file so it can be read on …
