Hello everybodyStrange things happened with my FSX 747-400. Every time the same place on the route from LFPG to LSZH during descent the weight and fuel parameters on FMC changed to unrealistic values. Then the values on left side of PFD strip and FMC weight and fuel values are blinking (PERF INI). A normal landing is not possible. There is no relation with panel state or so because it was a flight without breaks. After this I deleted all related files for this flight and started it new, including programming FMC and all values, new. The same thing happened on the same place! Hi, after the FSCopilot 1.7 installation, the VOR needles didn't work anymore. They have worked without any problems at v. 1.6 The Trouble makers are the tools(GPWS, Head Effect) which are installed by fscopilot. When you install FSINN 1.6 with that tools the needles also don't work with V 1.6. The problem is that with 1.7 you can't deselect this tools during the installation. So you have to remove the following files manually. Hello, I never had this problem until a recent reinstall of FS9 (patched to 9.1, Windows XP). Using the 737 and taking of from EDDF, at about 500ft AG, FS9 will crash to the desktop. The error message will point at pmdg_737_ng_main.gau I have turned traffic on/off, installed and uninstalled sceneries - it keeps crashing.BUT... when I take off from KBFI, I can fly all over the place without a problem. What the... ?!I've read numerous posts here trying to find the answer, but no luck so far. Anybody have any clue as to what might be going on here? I'm out of ideas.Torsten

I've had a challenging time trying to distinguish between these two functions. I think it's coming but not sure if fully yet: DIR TO seems to be fully automated and involves accepting whatever course the FMC gives you to for direct flight to the next wp via the shortest calculated routing. The DIR TO course to the waypoint is not necessarily the figure shown as INTC CRS at LSK 6R. hi alli seem to get stall warning and loss of speed on my final approach into an airport, i know i am not too heavy with about 15% fuel my landing speed is about 137 kts flap 30, but on approach when i dial down to say 140 kts and flap 20 i get stick shaker sound and the AP cancels the GS and then the LOC lights up.am i doing the approach wrong? am i too slow on the approach too far out?this is the 747Xthanks

Hi Gents,my problem is that I can't hear the speedbrake "whine" sound upon touchdown, although I have the 'PMDG747_SPDBRK' file in the sound section under PMDG and it also plays correctly.Actually, sometime it's ok and I can hear it but since I've re-installed my OP and everything in the correct order I landed twice without this sound effect.Any ideas?Thanks,Rob

EDIT: Ignore this request. I found out on my own and didn't fall out of the sky ;-)If tanks 2 & 3 are less than 1 & 4 how do I transfer fuel from 1 & 4 into 2 & 3?Do I switch off 2 & 3 pumps and leave 1 & 4 on to pump fuel from tanks 1 & 4 into the manifold to fuel engines 2 & 3?TIADave

Now that Vista SP1 is available is it worth moving to Vista to use FSX and the 747FSX?Andrew

Hello fellow-captains,I wandered if PMDG has already decided whether the MD-11 will get a multicrew function or not. And when I'm talking about multicrew I mean via an interface created by PMDG and not the standard FSX cockpit sharing. (For example the Maddog2006)I would also ask PMDG, if decided not to implement this function, to please reconsider the possibility. I just purchased both PMDG 747-400X and FS2Crew 747-400X Edition and I cannot get the downloads to complete. The download gets to 99% then stops and eventually times out. I have tried to download both with Internet Explorer and Firefox, both give me the same result. I have tried to e-mail support, but I never recieve any acknowledgement that the message was even recieved. This is very disappointing considering how much money I just shelled out for nothing.Charles

Hi,Just a quick question re the Autopilot. I have noticed that during the cockpit checks, the autopilot cannot be turned on to check if functioning, disengage etc., and that the A/P will only activate when airborne. Is this how it's supposed to work? I thought you would be able to check it's functioning prior to take-off?ThanksRob

after having installed SP1 for Vista, I am now having issues when using the pmdg fuel loader.when fsx is full screen, the pmdg fuel loader panel doesn't display properly (ie: initially, there's just a white empty box - nothing visible).after moving the mouse over the window, some of the bits and pieces become visible.switching back to windowed mode, the pmdg fuel loader window appears to be 'normal', but, after choosing a fuel load setting, and hitting 'apply' and then 'ok', the total amount of fuel loaded in eicas still shows just the amount of fuel that remained from the previous flight.I'm not sure what's going on here, but it's just after having loaded Vista SP1.I'm a…

I'm not asking for a precise list of commands but just a rough straw poll.I have a good idea which buttons I want to do what with but I can't find a use for the second trigger position, the rotary on the clutch, the mini-mouse (not Disney) and the 6 stick-base toggles.I'm sure I'll fit them in somewere but what do you use them for?GlenP.s. I cannot fly PMDG-747 X more than 10 minutes. After 10-15 minutes flight FPS goes down to 3-5 FPS. Then, I am receiving Warning" This computer has run out memory. Please restart flight simulator and select different graphics, scenery, or traffic seatings".That is the end of the story. I spend two days on it and many hours with Dell support. Many tweaks applied, including Vista. No way 747 let me fly.I am getting average 30 FPS with LDS-767. But no luck with PMDG-747.My new Pc Dell XPS 420 Q6600 4GB memory Ram. I would like to help PMDG financially if need be in the development of the MD-11 by requesting that they sell the 'Alpha stage' aircraft as is for X Euro's (to be determined by them) and let us the customer have access to it. Upon completion of the project, I would then pay the asking price (again determined by PMDG) for the finished product. It would be understood from the beginning that there would be (no whining or criticism directed to PMDG if the product did not perform to your expectations, because you would have very few to begin with, but, you would at least have what they have and probably be very happy with it.Yes, I would be paying more for it in the end, howev…

To all,I have created a kneeboard mod for FS2004. It's only 'htm' files that are to be saved into the 'Aircraft' directory. You MUST save the original 'kneeboard_keys.htm' file. Please read my readme file!It's geared to toward the PMDG 737NG aircraft for now. Allo all.I did a search and went through 7 pages anddidn't see this question asked.Is there a way to turn the cabin lighting off?I mean the cabin, not the cockpit. It is really bothersom to try and enjoy a night flight with the cabin lights on. you can hardly see out the windows.when I say cabin I mean where the passengers sit.Oh this is for the 737. I have the 737 suite and havethe 600-700 model update installed as well.I can turn on the flood lights off and onin the cockpit but the rest of the plane remains flooded no matter what. it is very anoying.Thanks for the help (if I get any)
