Ladies and gents,I'd appreciate some help with this because it's getting very annoying. I have recently and reluctantly changed from using windows xp to windows vista. When running xp, I had no problems running FS9 with the PMDG 747 and enough addons you could through a cat at :) Since moving over though, I have found that my cockpit gauges and levers are moving and flickering on there own accord and some of the gauge windows are doing the same. Is this a global problem? Is someone else having the same problem? and can this be overcome.My specs are: Windows Vista Home Premuim, Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.40Ghz, 2048 RAM, Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS, FS9 and FSX. 1.6Ghz Hard …

The FMC speed is set to .836 and VNAV, autothrottles and auto pilot are active. Why is the airspeed creeping up to .9 and beyond until I have intervene and cut the throttles back?Thanx.Chris Honke.

I have Vista-HomePremium, and my present FPS is between 7-9 in Major airports.I like PMDG 747 and I flew many hours in FS9. Before I purchase 747 for FSX-Vista. Will you please advise, Does PMDG 747 will reduce my FPS further in FSX-Vista?If you have Vista-HP, What is your FPS in FSX?ThanksSanal

Hi all,I've been flying 747 400x for a couple of weeks now mainly doing short flights approximately 1500 2000nm, so it was about time I went long-distance. I have a few questions ?1, I tried to set a cruise altitude of 42000ft but I keep getting an fmc saying Max alt 38200??2, normally when flying under 10,000ft aircraft should stay below 250knots but in the clb page the speed/trans is 265/10000??3, when setting up the fmc the V1 and rotate speeds are in lower case and are not recognized in the cockpit display if I left click on each one then it goes into uppercase and then is shown on the display???thanks for any helpMark

Hi all,I just got the PMDG 747-400 for fs9 yesterday and am having numerous problems with it. Due to poor performance with fsx i decided not to buy the pmdg for fsx but rather fs9 since ive been getting good performance at max settings on fs9. (I'm on Vista Home Premium)The most annoying thing about this is that the simulation often freezes, view changes are extremely slow and sometimes the display blanks (but not freezes) and to restore my view i have to select view options from the drop down menu up the top. Then it is an instantaneous view change.The other very annoying thing is that when the sim freezes, it causes a blue screen of death if FS is attempted to be closed…

Just completed a flight in real time from Johannesburg to Perth Australia. 9.6 hours in the 747-400X. I programmed in the flight plan as used by South African Airways on this route. Some waypoint are 300nm between each other as this flight crosses nothing but 5000nm of water.Although I had an almost perfect 25kt tail wind, the acft kept flying with a slight left wing down tendancy (one or two degrees). Adjusting airelon and rudder trim did not correct this. If I zoomed right in on the nav display, the acft was also not right on the track, just slightly off to one side. Also, as I approached Perth, the autopilot tracking was very poor on the STAR, overshooting turns result…

Can anyone help me with the following problem which has occured recently?On stating FS9 I get a message that FS9 is unable to load some aircraft or software. It than shows that it was unable to load PMDGOptions.DLL. This means that although I can still use FS9, I cannot use the PMDG aircraft as the gauges will not load.This happened at about the same time that I installed and registered FSUIPC V.3.75, however, Peter Dowson assured me that it is nothing to do with FSUIPC. I now have FSUIPC V.3.80 installed but still the problem persists, I have even installed my old V. 3.4 from my back-up drive but I still have the same message.Is there anything that I am missing, or can d…

On taxi-out at LGAV today, my ND went blank! Had to SAVE then LOAD to get it working again. No other diagnostics, I'm afraid.Cheers, Richard

Hi,I did a test flight around Nice Airport (LFMN) - when landing on runway 4R, the plane crashes when the "10" announcement is made, like if there was an invisible wall - the whell have not even touched the ground.I am using a FranceVFR scene, but I do not think this is a problem.Did someone have a similar problem ?This is not a bitumus problem, since the runways there are made of Asphalt.Thanks for your help,Olivier
