Hello.I please need some support on how to fix my autobrakes in the PMDG 747 for FS9. I use CH Yoke, pedals and quadrant and I have them configured via FSUIPIC (registered) latest version. When I land, the Autobrakes dont apply and I have to brake down the aircraft manually. This function (using the same yoke and pedals and via FSUIPIC) works ok with other add ons such as LVLD.I usually put 2 or 3 in autobrakes depending on the aircraft's weight, but Im not getting any response from the brakes.Thank you!Cheers

Hello All,I've downloaded the latest NAVDATA cycle and copied the SIDSTARS folders into the correct place. All SID STARS show up for the airfields VABB in FMC, but the problem is SID don't draw curves as the actual aircraft does, instead a straight line is drawn from point to point on the ND, even though the sim a/c follows a curved path on take off.A friend of mine was suggesting some fly-by and fly-over waypoints settings change required as his PMDG draws it correctly. Please advise, Thank you very muchWith Best Regards,Bhaskar- A Real world 737 NG Supy -

I came across two errors in both the Standard and Metric Fuel Load Planning tables:FL310 column: 6400 NAM value is much higher than surrounding values (should be 290.2 Lbs???)3600 NAM value is lower than 3200 NAM value.A quick scan of other values reveals no other issues, though every now and then two subsequent values are nearly identical followed by a much larger step to the next value. I suppose that could be due to some Step Climb boundaries.Daniel

Hi all,I have the 737-600/700 ver1.3 on cd(Aerosoft) & have just bought the 800/900 second hand(again Aerosoft), & it looks a little old in it's version (says on the cd ver1.1).I have searched these forums & can't find out what i need to know.Visiting the downloads page------------------------------------------------------------ http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/pages/down/updates.html .....------------------------------------------------------------[737-800/900 Service Update 1-Updates the PMDG 737-800/900 to V1.1 ]That is the version on cd i have(so no update needed).[737TNG V1.2 -> V1.3-Updates the 737TNG V1.2 to V1.3 (you must have V1.2 installed)]Th…

Sometimes when atc talks I get a little hiccup. Is this due to anyting that I can fix or just hardware? Does sound quality render FPS?(the sound setting on the toolbar). One last question. Does anyone know how to make the spoilers automatically deploy upon touchdown on the PMDG 737.Thanks, Alex

Could somebody confirm that the FS9 upgrade coming with the FSX version cannot be installed unless the 747 Freight version is previously installed ?Having installed this version (R12) under VISTA-64, the 747 cannot be loaded anymore (FS9 terminates), even when starting first with the Cessna and then selecting the PMDG 747. Before installing R12, it was working without issue. Other version of 737-900 loads normally and so does the FSX version. Also what would be the best method to uninstall version R12 without affecting the other versions (FS9 + FSX) installed ?Thanks in advance,

Hi I got a few questions about the PMDG 747-400. 1. Regarding step climbs,Say I'm flying at 33000 ft and on the VNAV page it says the optimal is 32500 feet, would I step climb to say 35000 feet or do I follow the step climb line where it says step climb at 0550z/2000 nm. I am asking this because if I follow the step climb line by the time I step climb that altitude is below the optimal shown... so it is not efficient!2. I tried doing some MTOW engine failures past V1, and I always seem to crash. What happens is that my plane can't maintain V2+10 so I stall and crash into the ground. I think this happens because I cannot seem to swtich to the TO/GA setting from the TO sett…

When the center fuel pumps switch off due to low level in the center tank, I am not getting a warning on the EICAS.The PRESS lights illuminate on the buttons on the overhead panel, and the pumps on the fuel EICAS page go yellow. This occurs when the center fuel level gets to 2.0 tons. Also, when I switch off the center pumps, the remaining 2 tons get transfered to the left main tank. This causes the left main tank to have 2 tons more fuel than the rest of the tanks, and causes a X-FEED CONFIG warning when switching to tank-to-engine.Any ideas?

Hi All, I am using Level-D 767 and Pmdg747 add-ons with ASX,AGX,Vista Ultimate,Fsuipc,FSX SP1 and all other REQUIRED updates tweaks and SP. I have tried FSX SP2 but no matter what I do it CTD for some reason or the other. I been working on My FSX project for over a year now and I think it's finally running almost perfect.Situation:Yesterday I made a short flight from EDDF to EDDM with both add-ons the B767 was flawless but with the B747 Pmdg, shortly after takeoff it seemed as if the autopilot was on and trying to correct my control movements. During cruise autopilot on the AC reversed course for no reason bank angle 45

Yesterday, for the first time since I started flight simming, I finally, and successfully, completed a long haul flight with a heavy duty addon aircraft (the wonderful PMDG747-400), FSCommander, Radar Contact and a few other applications, running across a network of PCs, whilst running FS on my main PC. At one point, i had three PCs linked, all using their own monitor, but utilising a KVM switch on two of them. It all got a

Hi Lefteris,In another thread you wrote:"......go Vista 64 bit, which, at least to me, felt like moving from a studio apartment to a luxurious six bedroom home (admittedly, I upgraded to 8GB RAM as well)."Can you tell me:1. What has been your experience with Windows Vista 64 bit in terms of performance with FSX and FS9 using the PMDG 747 and/or 737?1a. Do these programs actually use the full 8 GB of ram on a system with Windows Vista 64 bit? (I thought they could only use 4 GB).2. What did you have to do, if anything, to enable FSX and FS9 to use the maximum amount of Ram?3. What did you have to do, if anything, to enable Windows Vista 64 bit to allow FSX and FS9 t…

my intial climbouts are acting kinda unrealistic. alomost like a posky 737. however when i first installed the pmdg 737 its realism on takeoff and intial climb was very realistic but ever since i installed the pmdg 744 the 737 FDE is acting funny. i unistalled the 744 (which is amazingly realistic btw) and reinstalled the 737-700. the plane is still acting like a posky. if i try and climb at V2+20 acceleration altitude comes up very quickly and before i know it im retracting the flaps very quickly and i know from watching real life vids the flaps come up a good minute or so after rotation even on short hauls where the weight isnt super heavy. ive seen pmdg vids aswell and…

ey all.Quick question:When i use the PMDG cold start config i cannot get the yaw dampers to work properly.I think it's because i messed something up using the IRS buttons? What I do is set them to align and then set the position in the FMC.For some reason i then have to set it to ATT and then to NAV and it works fine. But im not sure if this is the correct way? Yaw damper keeps INOP. Also, i cannot engage the AP (it says no autoland)Thanks!
