Several times I noticed after landing during taxi. Right wing shaking without any reason, like it will drop it self on to taxi way.. ( that is like a comedy show)During take-off all OK. I switched 747 from GE to PW . Only happened slightly two times.What is causing right wing mechanical type shaking up and down?Left wing perfect. No pot-holes on the taxi way or no wind. Just shaking right wing :-) Two times un-installed/re-installed PMDG-747X.No change.Sanal

Does anyone know of any patches that will make pmdg 737 800/900 compatible with FSX or will I have to revert back to FS9?

Im doing a flightplan KLAX to PHNL and I get an error showing in the PMDG (747) FMC PHNL err : MKK40 missing & PHNL err : SHIGI missing also Approach runway and STARS missing at PHNL. I install a latest cycle 0803 still have a error.Thanks,Mukesh

It is possible to make the PMDG 747-400 Strobe and Beacon lights a bit bighter?To me, they seem dem. I tried using shockwave redux 3d, but they don't follow wing flex. Just wondering if there is some editing that can be done in the config file to make these brighter.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Perry Fincher

Guys,I've been using the 747-400 for some time now with no problems. However, just the other day after loading the aircraft and configuring a flightplan into the fmc, the whole instrumwent panel glass screens went dark for no reason. Try as I might, I couldn't get them on again. Is there an instrument power switch on the overhead somewhere?My last resort was to delete and re-install the aircraft completely. The deletion was done properly via the installation CD, but when re-installing, I got the error message :-"Installation cannot continue. ok, so I land at an airport with almost no fuel left in the center tanks, and none in the stabilizer tanks.I'm under the impression (perhaps wrongly) that the pumps are supposed to make sure that there is fuel in the center tank (the wings have plenty) so that the APU can run.However, having set everything the way I normally do, and tried to start the apu, the eicas status display shows absolutely no joy at all with the APU.what's up with that?I'm guessing it's because there's too little fuel in the main center tanks.how am I supposed to cause fuel to be moved to the center tank so that the apu will start?any help appreciated.

I always see the real world pilots use the center CMD button on the MCP. I read that the reason for this was that selecting either the right or left button would turn off the F/D on the side you selected and only the center button allows the F/D for both pilot and co-pilot at the same time so that's why it's always selected.But my FSX version of the PMDG747 shows the F/D on both PFD's no matter which button I select. Has the real world MCP been updated since I read that or is the PMDG modeled incorrectly?Jeff P.

Greetings all,Here's a weird situation that's occurred twice in a row. After starting with a "cold and dark" scenario, I went thru the normal operating checklist. After I got to the fuel panel, I loaded the fuel (using the PMDG menu). After that, I was unable to rotate the IAD/MACH and HDG knobs on the MCP panel. The numbers wouldn't change. The ALT knob, however, worked fine. Because this had happened previously, I had checked the knobs after I booted up the sim, and they worked ok. Any idea what's happening here? It could be something unrelated to adding the fuel, including any items from the beginning of the checklist. Appreciate your help,Ron

Well, after finally learning the LAND3 autoland landings, I guess the next step would be to learn how to really fly and land this thing non-autoland style. As much as beautiful and perfect they are, sitting there and watching phase is over for me.Could someone post some starting pointers here ? As in, at what point while flying the FMC flightplan do you start the descent/approach procedure, which parts of autopilot do you disengage/control and when etc. A step by step guide would be nice. And where is the boundary between auto and manual ? From what I read so far it looks like most landings always have some part of autopilot engaged - like A/T for example.Thanks in advanc…

I currently have installed for FS9:PMDG 737NG 800/900 (Boxed, standalone)PMDG 744 PaxPMDG 744 FreighterAll are up-to-date.Oddly, now after a few years, I'm getting a hankering for flying the 600/700 series which I purchased before the three listed above but hadn't re-installed in a couple of years.Now, if I install the 600/700 variant, will I have to be worried that everything is going to crash out? Hey,recently installed Mega Airport Heathrow X Scenery and discovered it was preventing the aircraft from receving the G/S indication on the PFD. Uninstalled the scenery and as expected the 747X can receive the G/S once again. I know this isn't PMDG's fault but I've posted it on Simwings' forum also. If anyone can suggest a fix then I might consider keeping it.Also, the scenery opens and closes barriers around the airport if a certain frequency is tuned in NAV1 radio - pretty cool ah? I love the tutorial by Tim M. and like using it to practice certain phases of a flight. One thing I can't seem to nail down is an annoying VNAV disconnect between LBV and RSW in Flight 3. I enter the constraints and descend toward LBV at 315 knots, and it barely makes LBV at 12000. The plane then speeds up and levels off, then starts to descend toward RSW, then I get the disconnect bell before RSW and the "unable" message. I even changed the speed between LBV and RSW to 250 instead of 240 per a suggestion by a forum post to steepen the descent, but the vertical descent gauge drops to the bottom and then it disconnects with an "unable..." message.
