Did anybody ever discover why the autopilot disconnect horn on the 744 sometimes goes off for no apparent reason either on or shortly after rotation? It still happens to me from time to time and I've never been able to determine what causes this other than conclude it's a glitch and just live with it.Thanks!Jonathan

Hi,What is the normal EGT ranges when starting APU. Some articles saying that it must be less than 600 degree celcius. Is this correct.Regards,Thomas

as the title says, I set my buttons none save, revert back to the old ones. Any idea's.I did post in Peter downsons forum he said its a gauge in the AC that has a problem posibly.Rgds

I have a problem. Just reinstalled FS9 and everything works except the radios - no lights or anything on any aircraft in my hangar. Loaded via the default flight and avionics and master switches all on. Battery life set to forever in FSUIPC. There has to be an explanation but I am jiggered if I can work it out.EDIT - panic over (I think) - a hard reboot seems to have sorted it.

Hey,I installed PMDG, no problem. But when I select it as an aircraft it crashes. I tried reinstalling it and still doesn't work. No liverys, just the normal aircraft. Both the 747-400 and the -400F crash. I use a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS graphics card. Can anyone help?Thanks,Jeremy

Hi gang,I've been having an issue where I get set up on the approach and I'm tracking the localizer, as the glideslope comes in I engage the approach hold and the airplane responds accordingly with one key glitch: I land off the runway approximately 150 ft to the left of the centerline. The B744 executes a perfect autoland and seems to track the glideslope and localizer just fine but it seems that it isn't centered on the runway. I don't have this problem with any other add-ons or stock aircraft. One point of note is that the location of the runway/localizer on my map is never centered correctly. Hi to all,I have the latestest version 4 of FSUIPC (full paid for version). I also use the CH products yoke and pedals. I suspect that FSUIPC and FSX are fighting one another, particuarly on the brakes. My 744X suddenly seems very slugglish on t/off acceleration at full loads, reaching V2 as I blast through the threshold lights at the far end. This happens using TOGA or manual throttle. This happens on a 13000 foot runway with zero wind at 5000 ft elevation with the aircraft inside all its weight limits. I have noticed that by setting the park brake and releasing it again on the keyboard, it appears to free up the brakes for a time, particuarly on taxi. At no time do I ha…

Hello everyone,First post and I'm glad to be here, seems a very friendly and helpful forum. I just purchased and installed the download version of the 737-600/700. The base installation model in PMDG livery works fine, however I can't install any of the addon liveries I downloaded from the PMDG page. The .EXE files and setup run normally, but when I start the simulator the new liveries don't appear anywhere in the aircraft selection menu, just the PMDG base livery. I have checked the aircraft.CFG files and all the info is there, correctly numbered, as well as the texture folders. I am running FS2004 9.1 under Vista Home Premium 32-bit. This weekend I flew a 10.5 hour flight from Johannesburg to Bangkok (realtime). On appraoch to the airport (LNAV/VNAV mode) I selected the APP mode and got a warning in the FMC to the effect "NAV Error" or similar. Has never experienced this before. I the realised as I approached, that the airport does not exist in this location.To "rescue" my 10 hour flight, I got onto the radio and asked ATC for the airport direction, which was given at about 15 miles from where the nav data claimed it to be. I don't subscribe to nav data updates but I think this is an FS error or perhaps the airport is in the nav data but not correct in FS scenery perhaps?

On the PMDG 737NG package, i found that when i installed the base package of 737-600/700 and then the 800/900, i found that if i just had the 2D cockpit view on either the 600/700 when i flew, the screens don't work, but if have just 2D cockpit view on the 800/900 its fine, to get the screens to work on the 600/700 i have to pick 2D and Virtual cockpit, this is a pain as sometimes i like to have loads of weather (clouds, thunderstorms etc) which puts alot of strain on my pc as it is without needing the VC, im quite new to this forum so if this is not in the right place i apologise

Hi. There is a problem with the display monitors. When I try to enter the apt of origin or anything in FMC suddenly all display monitors are blank, don't you know why? Maybe it's because I changed the graphic card for Sapphire HD3650? But it's still strange, cose FMC works properlyMichael

When I apply reverse thrust, always stays in idle power. How can I increase the reverse thrust to maximum available power? I tried clicked two times reverse thrust yoke button. It didn't increase the power. It works with 767. First yoke click gives idle power and second click increase the reverse power to 40%.ThanksSanal

HelloOn my PMDG 737-800 I don't have many SIDS or STARS for many airports, including Gatwick and Heathrow. I've downloaded some updates from NAVData but they don't work, even though I put the files in the correct folder. Whenever I open the FMC and enter the airport ICAOs, I just get EGKK err, *SID/STAR name* unknown.Please help!Dom
