Hi just bought and installed the 737-600/700 pack.Problem when pressing ex the o key to get up the overhead panel the panel comes up ok, BUT when trying to close it the bottom half of the screen goes black, this also happen whne trying the Z key, The F(FMC) works fine ?? does anyone have any ide on this problem in the 747 it workes fine..tore

I noticed the other day that a couple of companies are already taking orders for the boxed version of the MD-11.As I like to have the printed manuals this is the route of purchase that I am going down.Out of interest one supplier is offering a Boxed FS9+FSX version, the other is offering a boxed FSX version, both being via Aerosoft.When the boxed version is released is it going to be a dual platform offering or specifically a FSX or FS9 one?Thanks in advance for clarification - and good luck with the projectRoy Hinds - UK

I have been a customer of PMDG ever since they released the 737 for FS9. I have purchased the entire 737 series, the 747 and the B1900 series. So needless to say that when the 747 for FSX came out along with FS2Crew as a package deal I purchased it. The purchase was made on December 31, 2007 late in the afternoon. The next morning (New Years Day) I was off work and thought I would get on the computer and save the download from the night before. Well a long story short I had purchased a computer from Cyber Power (OK color me stupid) and of course it was a hunk of junk, and would not even boot up. Hi everyone,While the engine is spooling up after selecting the engine start switch to GND, at what N1 reading is the engine start lever moved up from cutoff to idle ? I know that for the B763 it's done at 18% N1 but suspect that for the 737NG this figure is different and I couldn't find it anywhere in the docs (or on this Forum unless I used wrong keywords). Howdy Gang,I have the PMDG 744, all the 737's and Beech 1900. They've all worked flawlessly since I installed them on FS9 over a year ago. I tried to load the 737 yesterday however and got this error:"Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled. File: GAUGESPMDG_737NG_Main.GAU"The error box won't close, I have to ctrl alt delete and shut down the sim. Also, I checked the folders and the gauge mentioned in the error is present. This only happens with the PMDG 737 and 747 only... the Beech 1900 loads ok, as all my other planes. hi pmdg 600-700 hi i got one more thing am try to fly epwa to eggw warsaw to luton and i have set the fuel but when i fly the plane uses the centre fuel and i use all the the fuel and ive changed the crossfeed to make it long ways and it still feeds off the the centre cage and i run out of fuel is there a way to get it to take fuel off the wing tanks Thanks martin

Hello all,I'm writing because there is something I don't really understand.For landing I arm my speedrakes, then when my plane touches the ground they automatically open.Until there everything is fine.But, if I don't immediatly reverse, my speedbrakes retract, and they will reopen when I set the reverses, and then retract when I stop my reverses.I would like my speedbrakes to open when my plane touches the ground of course, but is it possible for them to remain opened even if I don't immediatly set me reverses (in the case of long rwys for example), and as a consequence to remain open when I stop my reverses (it's often the case when you live the rwy. I find that the animations for extending the speedbrakes and activating reverse thrust do not function in the Instant Replay mode since I installed FSX Acceleration. The animations are working during the original landing because I can view them from Spot view when landing. However, when I do an Instant Replay they are not seen. In other words, there is no deployment of the speedbrakes and no simulation of the reverse thrust engine cover movement even though both were operational during the original landing.What seems to be happening is that the replay starts in whatever configuration you left the plane in when you select Instant Replay from the FSX menu. Im a big fan of the 747-400X and fly it pretty much exclusively.Im just interested whether anyone managed to merge the Reality XP WX radar and the 744X ND as was done with the 737NG?Id try but my coding skill is non-exsistant.It doesn't really bother me if its not possible, but it would be a perfexct touch to a perfect plane.One more question, no matter how much I try or where i have the sliders in FSX the cargo loaders never seem to approach the pax version.Rik

In posts several months ago, a few of us noted that with our systems the autobrakes do not activate on an aborted takeoff or upon landing, even though they are set. PMDG indicated that this was a known problem for some users and that it would be addressed.I do not see mention of this problem being fixed in the upcoming v1.20 update for FSX. Is it not addressed, or is this fix just not included in the list?Thanks, Robert

Without in any way wanting to get between you and PMDG, I have assigned CTL+SHIFT+S to the Concord Nose Droop and CTL+SHIFT+R to the Concord Nose Retract - these settings work fine for the airstairs.DJ

When I try to save my panel state, I get the the message "Cant create file"I run FSX on Vista 64, I have enabled write on all FSX folders and subfolders. I run under admin priv.'sAnother thing I noticed is that occasionally the VC (EHSI and NAV and some switches) displays freeze. I was not able to select tank-to-engine and had to force it with the fuel state option from the PMDG menu. (this was all during a night flight) The 2D panel keeps working fine. Two strange things happened during my flight from KJFK - LTTP (Lisbon)Main tank 2 and 3 total lost fuel and went empty. According FCM totalizer reading I have still 36,000 Lbs fuel. I thought It cant be a fuel leak unless both Tank 3 & 4 connected each other. I assumed tank readings were in-correct. (That was mistake . It turned out FMC was giving false fuel total calculation in Tank 2&3) No fuel left in tanks. FMC still showing after arrival at Lisbon I should have 26,000 Lbs fuel. NO place to go on ocean. I slowed down to 270 and in case flare out, I lowered the flaps and landing gear then, here we go...FLARE OUT. FL310 tried to glide to Lisbon. No engines and…
