Regarding the 747 FSX.Only Button I can arm is V/S. When I click on LNAV, VNAV, FL CH, THR, SPD etc, nothing happens. Is there a conflict in key commands?Thanks!MHarrisESA1178

Hi, Im having trouble trying to delete 'Discontinuity's from my flight plan(s) the ones in the middle of thr flight plan are not a problem as they are easy to delete or join up if needed. but most of the plans have a disco at end of plan ie after RWYxx, then on TRK 2000' from here on i have a DISCO (it should be a missed approach procedure and should say go back to VORxx) It has the correct VOR in the next 'Step' but has a DISCO in between it, and will not delete, nor can I upselect the next VOR Im using 737-700.... aircraftcan anyone help me on this thanksDave

Ladies and Gentlemen,I am perfectly aware that modifications of any kind of PMDG panels is not supported by PMDG and to a certain extend discouraged by the developers.However, FS Flight Keeper has an "ACARS device installer" which obviously installs automatically a hotspot or switch whatever you may want to call it in different panels including the PMDG 747-400. Hi Guys I have just purchased the 737-800/900 series and would like to know when loading the fuel is it just simply done thru the MSFS fuel loader panel or like the 744 does the 737Ng have a seperate panel if so I can't find it.Craig(captainc)

Hi,i have both FS9 and FSX installed but after the installationof FSX the lower part of PMDG 747-400 in FS9 is all black.There are no gauges at all.That part is gone.When i installed the aircraft there was a file called"PMDG 747-400_V1R12_FSXFS9 unifier.exe".Should i install that file?I have also SP2 installed.Bjorn

I've spent several hours trying to figure this out to no avail. Having finally got myself to the runway, pretty sure that I've followed the normal procedures and checklists correctly, I arm the autothrottle, advance throttles to 70% N1, then hit THR.Nothing happens (no increase in thrust and the throttle annunciator in the PFD is still blank), so I manually control the throttles during takeoff. At 1000ft or so I select LNAV and VNAV modes, engage the autopilot, and try hitting THR again. Still nothing. I try SPD and that also doesn't work. Nothing I do seems to make the darned thing engage.Can anyone think of anything I might have forgotten to do that would cause this?Als…

Using keys to fly and when I press 9 on the numpad to accelerate it goes back to idle almost straight away as if another key is being used - anyone had this happen to them. This has just happened to-day as I thoght I would fly with FS9 instead of FSX, and has been ok before.Have done the usual searches and visited PMDG site but not found the "specific" answer to my prob.Denis Brown

Hi guysI've had to re-install my PC back to factory settings and foolishly forgot to backup my PMDG (and other) flight sim products. I've got the Level-D 767-300 up and running already with a minimum of fuss and not one e-mail sent, as it is downloaded from Flight 1.Why can't you guys use this service instead of the current system of e-mailing you and purchasing a backup service?Seems to be a needlessly time-consuming rip-off when compared to Level-D, making us pay to redownload something we paid almost more for than the cost of the simulator it self.Regards,

A funny thing happenned on the way to the airport. After using the FMC without any problems the numbers coming out are different. I use 1,2,3,4,5,6 the numbers are ok. 7,8,9 come out as 4,5,6 and the bottom ones as 7,8,9. I have to use the keaboard lock to insert . or 0Any Ideas?thanks

Hi everybodyI have a question regarding the 747F fuel / load manager and how it actually works in conjunction with FS9.I select PAX and Cargo and calculate the weight and fuel loads as always in the tool. What happens once I click the "save for next flight" button?Does the load manager actually load the calculated amount of fuel into the aircraft or is this simply an indication of what I have to subsequently try and recreate with the FS9 fuel and payload sliders in the "create a flight" section?If the fuel manager does actually load the fuel for me, does this mean I have to set the FS9 values back to zero to avoid double loading?Reason I ask is because I have a feeling th…

My 747-400 (V1-R11) has developed serious faults:Veers sharply to the right at start of take-off rollUnable to engage A/P.Basically, it has become unusable. I reported this (emails via Outlook Express)to [email protected] on 1st April 2008 and again a few days later. I have not received any reply or, of more concern, any automated responses. This would indicate that my emails are NOT being received by PMDG. I suddenly have frame rate hits (down to 5-6) in 2D in the 737 series only. When I use another view or cycle through "W" and don't have full panels, they go back up to the usual mid 20's. I have been doing a lot of tweaking trying for better rates but really the only significant change recently was un-installing FSX. No hits with 747 nor Level-D. On a couple of occassions I've noticed a problem with the push back function that is accessible from the COMM panel in the PMDG 747 (FS9). Everything starts correctly and the voice says that "pushback is complete set parking brakes please" but the backward movement continues endlessly. The first time, during a large cross the pond fly-in on VATSIM, I was consulting the charts while pushing back and when I looked up I had pushed through terminal B and A and was heading for the UPS cargo ramp at KEWR :D The second time happened yesterday, also on VATSIM, at EDDF.I tried activating a new and very short (couple of meters) push back from the COMM panel and also using the MSFS …

My apologies if this has been answered in another post. I recently downloaded from Navigraph, cycle 8.03 for PMDG.I seem to have errors in the ILS frequencies for EGLL and CYYZ, for some of the runways.There may be other airports with similar errors. Is there a fix for this?Ron

Hi,I needed to reinstall Windows Vista and FSX after a system crash. I am unable to install the PMDG 747 for FSX due to reaching the installation limit. Obviously none of my mails goes through, I dont't get the automatic response, no matter which email account I use. Is there an other way to contact support?Ulrich

Hi Guys,When my VC was enabled, I mapped the PAX and cargo doors via the PMDG options. Now that I have disabled the VC via the load manager, my keyboard mappings don't work.Is there a way to still open the PAX and cargo doors using only the 2D panel?Thanks,John

Greetings!Recently purchased the PMDG 747-400X. Wow!!!!... is all I can say. They have really taken MSFS to the next level.I am diligently making my way through the manuals, but was excited to find Jared "Smitty" Smith's Standard Procedure's Guide, as this gave me the opportunity to get some "hands on" time in between ground school... lol!I installed the included downloads as instructed, but find that there are some anomalies. Firstly, the track to the first waypoint, "Timse" shows up as a double curve on my ND, quite unlike the straight line as indicated on the illustration. Hello...I've recently noticed that I'm not hearing the speedbrakes sound when landing in the 747. I am arming them and they are deploying on touchdown, I just don't hear them. I checked the sound files for the 747 and I do see the wav file for the sound. I have the sound sliders set as recommended and the 747 sound slider halfway between mid and normal. I also do have the sound update installed.Is there someway I can increase the volume?ThanksRobert

Bill (I'm guessing...)Usually, no response indicates either they haven't received your email, or you haven't received theirs.....filter issue usually. Please check your junk folders, and then try sending from an internet mail provider (gMail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc....). Hello, I have a slight problem, I bought a new high end computer to be able to play the 747X with good framerates. However, I get a serious problem, whenever I fly the 747X with a more CPU intense scenario, FSX crashes and I get a warning message saying "your computer has run out of availible memory". This is very strange due to the fact that I run a;Intel core2 DUO 3,2 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB and Windows Vista. Is there a know memory leak issue? Has anybody else than me come across this issue with an high end computer?Thanks in advanceBest regardsJohan
