Hello,i have fiddled with the cockpit configuration and now cannot get it to the same as it was out of the box... i liked it and now want it back :)Please let me know if anyone can assist with restoring the default config.Thank you!Marek

After a complete Re-Installation of my 737NG and 747-400 in FS9 I discovered either the 747 had corrupted the cfg file or the PMDG paintkits. My 800 had dissappeared and only the PMDG liveries were present from the 900. As I replaced the model cfg file things went well only then to discover my 747 had been corrupted and the load manager deleted, to add to complications on trying to load the 747 FS9 does a complete crash.John

Hi Guys:Just a few quick questions about the much mentioned ARIC424 Data.1)What is the ARINC424 Data that has been referenced a lot lately in the forum? 2)How will it affect us?3)Will it mean changes to the navdata and sid/star updates for the 744 and MD11?4)As a result of any format change, will PMDG have to release an update so that the FMC's/FMS's understand the new format?CheersPaul

Hello PMDGIs it possible to have a complete list of the failures possible with the MD-11 ? I know there are a lot, like 150, but it would be very interesting...I wanted to know specifically if you can get a fuel related failure (fuel leak for example)ThanksDeniz

I fly PMDG747-400X and as you know we do not have a course knob on our MCP.On my MCP from CPflight that I bought and use for the 747 there are two course knobs.What is the function of these knobs on a 737NG?

Hi,Can I ask whether PMDG have any plans to simulate EGPWS, rather than GPWS, in future addons, thus providing a terrain display? If so will it be made available retrospectively as an update to the MD-11 and 747-400 for example?EGPWS, or equivalent, is pretty much standard equipment these days, being mandatory on turbine driven passenger aircraft in the USA since 2002.Two other developers have included EGPWS modelling so far. PMDG appear to be lagging behind a bit in this area.Kevin

I can't find in the FCOM how to hear the PA Alerts and Crew alerts using the audio panel in the MD -11. Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hope someone can help here, I had left the MD-11 flying while eating dinner and when i came back to it it was night time and some cockpit textures had a funny pixel/checkerboard look to them, It is hard to explain. when I turn on the flood light it goes away. I searched for the answer to this problem with no luck.I am trying to install a FSX747 livery on a new computer. Using Vista 64. Installed previously without a prob on old computer (XP Pro).I am getting the following error window after the install routine starts:"Aircraft.cfg not found. Good afternoon,just a quick question. How good is the fuel usage model for PMDG737? The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying different ways of flying, trying to save as much fuel as possible. F.ex. trying to descent on the best L/D and see how huch fuel I saved. Hi allI was wondering if anyone could give me a pointer on the fuel planner I downloaded from PMDG Simulations for the PMDG 737NG. After I installed the fuel planner it never worked. All the information was entered with no red figures etc, pressed to calculate fuel but when I pressed the load fuel button it didnt show me that it had boarded the fuel.I have tried to install this program before with no luck so hopefully you guys can help me out.my os is vista home edition.Thanks in advanceTerry

Howdy, I am sure this has been asked before, I've searched the forums, but did not find an answer. Are there any stairs available for the MD11? For example the ones the 747 has for the cargo version. If not, is there any way to get them to work with the MD11? Or if not, will it be updated in a service pack? Thanks!-EsG

My PMDG 747-400's flight displays (avionics?) wont work. Even if I follow all instructions from the guide and instructions i get from searching the internet. I followed everything from this video = and yet the displays are still not working (the EICAS, etc). if i start my flight the normal way (not the cold and dark way) the display will usually show for a minute and then its disappears. i also noticed that when this happens, all of the 4 engines are still running.

Hi eveybodyi've got a strange problem with the "Queen" in fs9.I installed yesterday Vista Home Premium 64-bit on my Harddisk.Before i did that, i had XP. There could i fly the 747 without any problem.When i start now with the 747, at 1 minute after start flight, the screens will appear in dark (ND, MFD, EICAS)only the FMGC i appear as normalWhat can i do?? Dear PMDG teamImgagine your revenues you could make with an actual aircraft like the A330/340 with the quality of a MD11 or 747-400. Because till today doesn't exist an addon of the A330/340 on the quallity of your standards.I've the 737-series and the 747 (FS9 and FSX), but I don't think to purchase the MD11, an aircarft, that use a few airlines, only. And the most as freighter and not PAX.I'm looking forward of NGX or, who knows.....Best reagrdsMarcel

Hi,on page 43 of the PMDG FMS-manual there is the auto-thrust page showing different values for N1 thrust settings...When going to the auto-thrust page (via the perf-page LSK 6R) there arent any N1-values at all but "only" EPR values for TO, MCT, CLB etc...So my question is how do I change the display to N1 values at the auto-thrust page of the MCDU...?Thanks very much! :)

HelloFirst I want to say MD-11 is a beautiful bird and I dont understand how anyone can complain about it, since nothing is perfect. But compare to other products that out there, PMDG is a that few stands out far better in quality and customer service support. Anyway, I have a question regarding Cost Index, is there a chart for this where I need to input this number correctly? recently I simply am using "60" but i know this figure is simulated into your flight, thanks.

Page 7 of the MD-11 tutorial requires entry on the WEIGHT INIT Page of the UFOB number on line 1R.Where is that number to be found please?2.Incidentally where is the small dash needed to enter the temperature as the example in the tutorial of "-56/TO22"?I cannot see that dash amongst the available keys and consequently I continue to receive a message reading "Format error" when I try to load the temperature without the dash.Cliff
