I have just installed PMDG's 747-400 from CD + Patch + Navdata into FSX (Vista64). And now my Traffic does not work. (I use Traffic X and have had no problems flying with both LevelD 763 & PIC's 737). Do you have any idea as to what might be the cause and if there be a fix? Hoping so....

Hey PMDG. I was wondering where you all had gone since we have heard absolutely nothing about your newest creation, the J41. I like most others are very excited to see a cool plane like this modeled and built. So it brings me to think that you all will just release the plane with no warning. Well I am just wondering as I always check these forums everyday just for this plane, and I not seen any updates or anything about this plane for that matter. Did I miss anything or will you just release it with no warning?

Using the Pro Flight System Yoke (Satiek)..since the MD-11 FS9 update I cannot get the botton on my yoke to disconnect the AP. Works fine with keyboard cmd. Did something change in the update which may have affected the AP? P.S. all my cmds through FSUIPC registered version. Vincent :(

Hello Everyone,I am having an issue with deploying the flight spoilers during flight. On the ground the spoilers deploy ok. Is there some logic as to when the flight spoilers are prevented from deploying in flight. I am not able to move the lever in flight. I just update my MD-11 to the latest patch. Before the update I don't recall havning this issue.Thanks,Paul

Not sure what Im doing wrong, this is my second flight, and the second time this has happened. I pass over the TOD and nothing happens. I have the alt set FL 030 which is where I should get on the G/S. But when I pass over nothing. Kinda out of ideas.

Good Day,Like most people, I have experienced my fair share of performance problems since my switch to Vista, FSX and the 747X. After much consternation, I think the performance tips below will help relieve many of those problems. Since making these changes, I have flown around the world in 5 legs (LAX-YSSY, YSSY-VHHH, VHHH-EGKK, EGKK-SKFO, KSFO-VHHH) with no OOM problems, freezes or the like. Before I made these changes, FSX was guaranteed to freeze up on every long flight in the 747X.This is with a clean FSX install, Acceleration upgrade, up to date 747X install and no other addon enhancements, scenery add ons or additional add-on airplanes. Hello,I just installed the PMDG 744/F onto my new XP installation and can not get the external power to show up like it did on my other installation during a cold and dark start up.It would always come on a few seconds after I turned the STBY PWR to AUTO, but now nothing... The only way I could get it running was loading the 747 from a running C172 or something.Is there any setting I can change? I am 105% sure I am not doing anything different procedure wise, and even tried a few different ways to get it running. Thanks,

I'm going to try to appeal to your higher senses once again. I just installed 9Dragons Kai Tak freeware. It's pretty darn nice. Now I need a way to guide myself and my PMDG 747-400, electronically to a landing. I am running FS9 and need to get the IGS 13 into my Navigraph FMC database. I found a nice setup for FSX but no FS9. I also have a Level D 767 and just put the Just Flight 777 in too. If you can help me with any of these aircraft I'd be very appreciative. Obviously there are many of you flying this approach. My Grandfather was the chief of ops for US Africa Airways, and I was wondering if anybody has or could do a Repaint. It is a fairly simple paintjob, and could be done quickly and easily. I know this has been covered before, but I'm having the same issues. The only difference with me is that I've actually run the Flight1 registry checker and still have no luck. When I try installing the MD-11, I get:"FS9 Version 9.1.0.40901 (FS9.1 at least)required. You only have FS9 Version 9.0.0.30612 installed. Please install FS9.1 or later to use this product." The trick is that I've already installed the 9.1 update. When I try installing the update again, I get a message that it's already installed. I would really like to not have to uninstall FS9 and re-install everything again, due to the amount of scenery and aircraft I have for it. Any help would be greatly apprec…

I need to redownload the 747 program. I purchased it a year and a half ago

I'm running the latest airac 0813 and finding that the pmdg is not tracking on the purple line. The Gaugeis showing a heading of 165 and the fmc showing 156 to Dunno. I have uninstall the latest airac 0813 andre-install it and still have the problem. This flight from NZAA to NZWN via NP VOR, the aircraft tracks likethis all the way to NZWN. When it loc onto the ILS of the runway 34 it not on the purple line or the centre linebut to the left of the purple line had to disenage the auto pilot and manual bring it in.Any reason why it doing this.I use flight slim 9Regards,Ray Lang

Hello all,I hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I recall reading online that a developer was making a mini turbine that would plug into a USB port on your PC to emit the smell of kerosene. It looked like a jet nacelle with a fan. Does anyone have the website that will be selling this product? I know it's still in development and there were pictures of it, but I can't find it anymore and thought it was really interesting. Hi,I have noticed that when I change views (i.e. look sideways and then look forward again in the 2d panel) that the panel flickers repeatedly and then goes back to normal. So, I look sideways and it flickers 4-5 times really quickly then it's OK. Then when I look forward it does the same thing. This is in FSX with both the MD11 and 747X. Doesn't occur with other aircraft. I have noticed that when I first open the overhead, FMC, throttle etc it does the same thing.Anybody have any suggestions or recommendations?Specs: E8500 3.15 GhzPalit Geforce GTS250 1Gb (180.50 drivers)4Gb RamFSX SP2ThanksJonathan

I think I brought this up a long time ago, but the Atlas Air 747F repaint for FSX has the port side american flag backwards. the stripes always fly away from forward. Can this be updated on the download site?-Alex

Greetings,I have purchased the MD-11 for both FSX and FS9, as seperate purchases.The problem I have is the load manager only appears to apply to FSX, it has no effect on the FS9 version.Had I of purchased the FSX and FS9 as a single purchase would I have installed a seperate load manager to apply to both FSX and FS9?CheersGraham McAllister

Im doing a flight from Toronto to LA, everything was fine until the moment I went to make some lunch about 1:45 min into the flight. I heard the autopilot disconnect warning and ran downstairs, The aircraft is decending, there is a lo speed protection warning and in the Consequences there is TAIL FUEL FWD and FUEL TEMP LO and it looks like there is no fuel getting to my 1 and 3 engines the FF is 0 #2 engine is 13110 not really sure what to do here is a pick of the overhead panel I have some fault lights on. Any help to save this flight would be great, if its even possible.

I can't reinstall my MD-11 because I can't remember my regerstration details mainly pass word, please help as I have a program that I bought and enjoyed untill my Hard drive failed and is now completely useless as I cannot unlock it.Michael Pare
