Hi,When in VC&Cabin the nose gear lights do not turn with the applied turn.While in outside-airplane view I see the nose gear turn and along with it lights but when I switch to VC-cocpit view they do not.How can I repair it?Thanx very much in advence.Best regards/Artur

Hello everybody!!Firstly, I'd like to say another redundant thank you for PMDG, for you are the only developer so far in the FS field that provides trustworthy flight models that deserved to be called "as real as it gets". I am a big 747 fan, and I was really uninterested in MD-11 no matter in the real world or in the FS world. After several months of consideration, I finally made my mind of trying out the new MD-11. Lately I'm finding that I cannot land at any of my destinations as every time I get an OOM message a few minutes before landing.The attachment illustrates the problem. I just read the airsimmer march update and I am very sad to hear that they are pricing the addon at $90 plus you have to pay extra to get some "optional" features. PMDG can you please reassure me that your next addons including the j41 will not be remotley close to $90, but rather closer to md-11 and 747 pricing?

I'm having trouble on decent approach to capture the "2 white and 2 red lights" or precisions approach path indicator.Every time I'm on approach I either have to keep pulling the yoke up or down to get it steady. I've seen flight simmers video that they didn't even have to move the yoke up or down, it like there flying straight down steady.Is there any instrument to capture a good glide slope path? I'm flying the PMDG 747 and default 737(Waiting for NGX 2.0) I want a steady decent aprroach without pitching up or down the plane to much.-Vincent

I was one of the many with critical posts regarding the dome lighting in the MD11 update 1. After downloading and installing update 2, I am blown away with dome lighting effect. Fantastic! Well done to all the PMDG development team. :( Now to check out the rest of the updated improvements.Andrew

Hello, I do all of my MD-11 flights with Fedex and was wondering if anyone knew why there has been a dramatic reduction in the amount of flights to/from PANC lately. I have noticed that almost all the flights that usually make a tech stop in PANC before continuing to the Asian cities are now going to/from KOAK and sometimes KSEA. I read somewhere that Fedex was relocating some of their PANC based pilots, but is this the cause for the lack of PANC flights or is it something else?Thanks, Dave S.

Hi Guys,I figured that the smart guys over at Precision Manuals probably aren't busy enough, and that they need some more projects to undertake (this of course, is me being overly sarcastic:), but I thought of what I think is a good idea. I know this is one of those "wish list" items that will probably never be realized, however - I thought it might not be bad to post it and think about what people thought. We know there is FS Build, which works great, its complex and it gets the job done, but its ugly as sin. Hi allJust to cover my ignorance if what I've typed below seems twoddle. It's because i'm generally a bit of a noob with some stuff. :( I was wondering what the correct way was to install the new Airac / Sids / Stars is. Is it a case of just running the self installs on the new files or should you be deleting any files within the PMDG/sids an stars folder.My reason for asking is that, I have never been asked to allow overwriting of any files in the sids/stars folder or the new airac.Any advice on this would be welcome. Hi Everyone,I'm getting back into flight simming after a year and a half of being away. I downloaded the update 747-400-ver1.2 for my Queen of the Skies 747 and installed it. The TRK display on the Nav Display does not take the Beta angle into consideration.Example: you are flying at a heading of 270 with no wind and you apply full left rudder (ouch) and right aileron your heading will match track. Now anyone with some real flight experience can tell you during side slipping that clearly ain't the case :( RegardsMark

i have had the md-11 for fsx for a while now and this has been bugging me since i got it, just never got around to asking. but does anyone else have the problem where at alot of airports, when selecting a pushing and turning either left or right, the minimum distance allowed is still to much and you end up getting pushed back to far? and this problem also occurs with the leveld 767 and an md-80 i have. so am i just doing something wrong, or is this some kind of limitation? thanksadam

I arm the auto throttle and select V and L NAV as per normal procedures. Soon after rotation I select central command and VNAV changes to FLCH. Is this normal? Once FLCH has selected the speed (V2 + 10) is maintained during the climb and therefore I never get to retract flaps. Could anyone explain if this should occur? Many thanks,

Finally guys!TOPCATSIM has confirmed the work on the MD-11 Takeoff and landing performance data. If you check out www.topcatsim.com you will see that the MD-11 is listed as "work in progress" :DNo more guessing the FLEX temps. and hoping for sufficent runway on T/O :( Leo :(

Hello,I just got PMDG 747-400X and have serious issues:The wingtips in the details menu of the Aircraft Selection area don't show-When I actually select the aircraft, I get the option of trusting 1 gauge and then FSX freezes and crashes!!! It happens every time! I've tried deleting FSX.CFG and DLL.XML, reinstalled PMDG, but it keeps happening! someone please help! thanks!

Has anyone noticed that hidden away in your pc eg C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator etc etc there is a seperate file for FS9 that records the hours of every aircraft's engines that you have used since you installed the program? I use the normal PMDG random failure set to minimum and FSPassengers to simulate the ageing and maintenance of an aircraft, just curious as to what that file does.Also with the MD11 I like the new features where you can refuel the aircraft throught the MCDU, I was wondering if any of the Beta testers suggested using the currently inaccessible maintenance page to set forced/random failures and to also clear faults? the less time I have to…

Hi, I have the PMDG NG 600 through 900.The 600 and 700 I have had for many years now adn 800-900 quite som time too.They are awesome, no doubt, in all respects.My favoourite plane is the MD-11 though. And I really have been waiting for the PMDG MD-11 to come out.I went back to the FS2004 again, but now FS9-version of this 3-jet is released.However, one thing is still keeping to hold on with buying. The reason for this is that I hardly am able to fullfill flights with the NG's due to bad airac cycles from Navigraph. All the time goes into fixing bad or adding missing data in the airac cycle . Is it a coincidence that I'm getting Out Of Memory messages after increasing the Sim speed by 4 for about half an hour?I've started following the method of shortening my flights before reverting to normal speed at the top of descent and now sometimes find that I can't reach the destination before FSX shuts down.In case it's relevant I'm using Windows Vista, the scenery is GEX, the aircraft is the MD-11 while the flight is Los Angeles to San Francisco.Cliff
