Hi All,Ok, I have had the MD-11 working flawlessly for sometime and decided to reinstall my 747 because I had a system crash. When I went to install my 747, there were no flight displays. The outside texture and sound were working fine, however - no flight displays. I then decided to uninstall it and try again. However, doing this made my situation worse! This morning I went to do a flight in the MD-11 and now it doesn't have any flight displays!!! I uninstalled EVERYTHING from PMDG on my system. I even did a file search deep into the hard drive to ensure everything was gone. I figured this would help and that the next time I installed the md-11, it would work fine. Howev…

I am having problems again :( :( After I installed the PMDG MD-11, I try and load FS and it says terrain.dll missing". I am using FS9 and NOT fs9.1Could someone possible send me this dllAlexei

I have PMDG 737NG and 747. I used well after I purchased that products. After months I had an problem when I press alt key and choose pmdg menu option, but there was only black screen. I tried many times even restart the FS9.1But I could find the PMDG menu option when I press window key which is between alt and ctl and click the FS9.1 again then ESC.I decided to format my computer and installed.But it still disappear. only black screen.It works but only problem of menu option like a fuel load.Pls help me.vista home basic.Intel core2 duo E4500 @2.20GHz3G RAMFS9.1

I have been trying to work out how to set up the FMC to divert to another airport while in mid flight. I was cruising along minding my own business when an engine caught fire and I was unable to put the fire out. Therefore I had to divert to a nearby airport but cannot find a way to alter the flight plan in the FMC to land at the other airport. It is probably obvious and I'm being stupid but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

If I understood things correctly, the fps for the md-11 are very light because you "run" the aircraft, or parts of it outside of fsx?If this is the case, would it be possible to do so for the queen somewhere down the road?It was on my wish list, but having heard that it was fps intensive, I decided not to purchase it. Otherwise, I am hoping that the "new" i7 along with windows 7 might improve things in say 6 months to a point where fps will be fine.Thanks.

I have spent the last 3 to 4 days trying to get my new system up and running seems to be going well but the MD-11 is not loading when i select it in th eaircraft meu I have SP 1and 2 for FSX and C++ 08 and 05 sp1 for both but doent wanna load it it just crashes fs everytime i try to do i i reinstalled th emd-11 and still am not geting it to work. Hi All.I am a recent sim pilot and am really green when it comes to this.I am unable to get an automatic "route" when I place all other pertinent information into the FMC.Is there something else that I need to purchase and download? Or do I have to manually input the route into it?Sorry for what might seem to be a basic question but your assistance would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.I can't wait to get things going:)

I bought the 1900d awhile ago, but then moved to fsx, fs9 is no longer on my machine. I contacted pmdg and they resent my 1900d download link, because I wanted to port it into fsx. However there is a missing texture on the nose of the aircraft. I have asked others about this on another forum but they did not seem to have any problems like this. Any ideas. Ian

What feature is causing this in ASA? Way too often I'm at about 800 feet AGL on approach when I'm hit with something (windshear?) from ASA that drops my speed so much that I pretty much have to go-around. I just dropped from 170 knots to 160 or less TWICE!! My second go-around was also FUBAR'd because of this damn feature. Now normally I'd like a windshear once and a while, but I get it all too often and my windshear setting in ASA is 10%. Plus after the 1st go-around, I should've been okay, not hit in the same spot again! I want to know if this is the windshear feature or something else, as I've not seen anyone else mention it. I had a thought about a possible update for the MD-11 FSX and FS9, if it hasn't already been discussed, because like the 737NG airlines used different presentations on the MFD, ND, EAD, and secondary systems display. So why not add a list like the 737NG with different airline setups for the user to select what style presentation they want. Just a thought.

I'd like to know the opinoins of PMDG 744/MD11 drivers on Active sky advanced. I use AS6.5 with a reg version of FSUIPC and the whole thing runs smoothly now that it I have it tweaked to the best of it's ability. Is there any real advantage of purchasing this upgrade? Hi everyone,in PMDG > Options > Model we can untick the box "SHOW VIRTUAL COCKPIT".So the VC is no longer shown.But however, the lights (beacon, landing lights, taxi lights) still show, hanging in the air, when you turn your eyepoint around.They just don't disappear. I am not speaking of the external view but the VC-view with the VC turned off.This could also be the reason, why in multi-monitor mode, the beacon flashes also inside the Virtual cockpit, which is quite unrealistic.Help for this solution is highly appreciated.ThanksRon

Been trying to find a way to manually input ILS freq and heading into the 747X. Just did a landing at FBSK rwy 08. Couldnt pull the ILS aproach up in the FMC, and had to do a missed approach followed by a visual landing.

I want to run PMDG 737 & 747 on my 46" Samsung LCD. At this point, I want to ensure full function of the panels and worry about aesthetics later. PMDG's website indicates the panels should be run in 4:3 aspect ratio to work properly. 1)Is it possible to run these panels in 16:9 with full and normal functionality, and if so, 2) how to I make it happen? What issues should I expect to encounter? I have been reading about issues related to gauges not functioning properly in a 16:9 or 16:10 configuration, specifically the buttons on the CDU not corresponding (hit "8" and get a "0"?) All of the posts I have read indicate that the CDU needs to be resized. Does anyone…

Firstly this is not a knock at the secret plane release but Im interested in knowing when it is revealed is there any aircraft that you would 100% buy or 100% decline to purchase??? For me if it is a CRJ I will defiantly make the purchase 100%, no question. I can't say that would not purchase it, if it is something different but!!!! this looks like its going to be an interesting year with and I say this very lightly a LevelD 757, and a AS 320 plus the 737ng which for me is already a set in stone purchase. I wonder how do I make an approach for landing at TNCM.I have FSBuild that inputs all the way points on my FMC.After that, I've no clue on making an approach landing (No ILS). I do know that I have to press the "DEP/APP" key and select a runway onR LSK 1-6.And I do have an approach plate for TNCM.Can you guys tell me in a simplistic way on how to do approach landings? Hi again, problems again, trying to uninstall PMDG 747 and I get a error message saying:Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Send or Don't send"This means I can't reinstall the PMDG 747 again because it says there is a later version than the CD version, please uninstall previous version!!Please help :( Alexei

I've read the reviews and like the look of the MD11 (FSX). I've been thinking there's a bug in brake temperatures for a while now but now I did test this out...I did 3 consecutive rejected takeoffs(at MTOW 285000kg) from about 170 knots using only wheel brakes. Result was that I got brakes only to about 440C and even getting temperature that high was really slow.I did some digging and there's a investigation report on Finnish Accident Investigation Board's website about a situation where there was a RTO situation with a MD11. In this situation the TOW was "only" 263385kg and after this one RTO the brake temps were recorded at over 700 degrees celcius.Surely, there a bug in modeling of the brake temperatures or something?//Olli
