I never fly the 3D cockpit, but it seems like the 737NGX will really bring this experience to a new level. I know nothing about Track IR (except from some posts here and some Youtube videos). Is TrackIR5 a MUST for the 3D cockpit? If yes, how hard is it to set up? I am concerned about seting this up - I am not computer savy. What are my chances of getting this set up properly?

PMDG stated on the ngx product page they highly recommend a 64 bit system. What consequence will I face from running a 32 bit system. This has me a bit worried now. anybody know? Thanks.

I wonder if this could be be missing piece of the puzzle for the release today... That would be super cool...

Today I was lucky enough to get behind the scenes and get a tour of the parking and taxi areas in Anchorage. I've attached a few pictures that I thought you all might enjoy. There are a lot more pictures, but I thought these were some of the best.

So I have like one minute on the forum so I don't have time to go searching the forum. Seeing as to recent activity I decided I would ask now. Because of money problems I may not be able to buy the NGX when it releases tonight however my question is how much it is expected to cost? 70 dollars right?Thanks~

With the impending release of possibly the most epic flight simulator add-on, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to all of the PMDG staff. Captains-It is late.We are all tired.The working days around PMDG have been 18-20hrs...The beta testers are starting to get twitchy, because their reports are no longer answered cheerfully.Some of us (not me!) haven't showered or shaved in days...But...We have reached the point where we feel comfortable letting you know that we have placed a marker on the calendar.From where we stand tonight- we anticipate that the PMDG 737NGX will be in your hands sometime in the next 7-10 days.I want to be very specific in making the following clear: Our beta team is working EXTREMELY hard to find problems in the software- and if they find anything that gives us concern, the dates migh…

Maybe next time they could like us pre order the product that way it might not crash like other times???

I would like to point out that the forums, as I write this, have over 1,625 users accessing it. I think we have succeeded in setting any fears of "crashing" aside when the NGX arrives. The hardware we purchased after the hack and the refinement of the forum software, and two guys (John and Brian) who made it all happen, results in this performance. Eveybody now please knock on wood.... Rob, I will send you an invoice in a couple of hours...

Guesses as to where the pogo stick might be? I'll start: It's hidden under the GPU for the NGX.

What happens if i loose my download of the NGX due to a server crash or something on my half. Do i have to contact PMDG are or there unlimited downloads? Thanks
