I downloaded my copy of NGX 2 days back and the installer file is still laming around my hard disk, I know its toooo much of a hard feeling to not try it but I've got a brand new plane in real life on my hands and need to get released on that first. BTW my question is, how long before my download expires, i have it downloaded already but just need this information as well. How long after buying can I wait before activating my product ? can I do that like after 2 weeks (not really going to wait this long but just wanna know) Thanks

If I format and reinstall everything, I will obviously need to reinsall the NGX. Is there any steps that I should take BEFORE I format? Is there a way to deactivate the NGX to "free up" my activated serial? Or should I just go ahead with the format and reinstall? Thanks for all your support PMDG!

I've been fighting with my system for a while now, trying to get FSX to run like I've seen in so many amazing youtube videos... and based on PMDG's recommendations --http://forum.avsim.net/topic/342439-fsx-computer-- I've gonna buy a new one / upgrade heavily... I was wondering I will encounter any problems trying to re-activate my newly re-installed aircraft? The last time I upgraded my video-card (for non FSX related reasons) FSX Booster made me buy a new copy because of the hardware change, and their support crew wouldn't respond to my emails... I had purchased the NGX last night, but never did receive a download link. Seems like they need to know who all is affected by this, and from what I gather from poking around in the forums, the way to do this is to create a ticket. Problem is, it appears to say that you need a separate login to create a ticket. How or where do you create the login for the support portal?

HiIs anyone else having problems submitting a ticket to PMDG? I have been trying on and of for the last two hours.

FIrst i would like to say that i am extremely happy with all my purchases from PMDG. Every addon i have purchased has been an exciting moment and a fun one aswell. Now this 737NGX is just something different, I mean i have never come across an addon for FSX with so much detail and precision. This has to get some awards along the way and i can see this plane changing the future of simulation for everyone in the Flight Simulator community. I have flown the NGX a few times now and I and absolutely blown away by the level of detail, and im sure everyone can agree with me on that one! The hard work and time put into this product is very apprent and you guys really deserve a pat on the back! :) I've just finished a flight from Cape Town to Ivato in Madagascar, and I've never enjoyed a flight so much before. The flight was beautiful, no problems, nice frames, and the aircraft just looks stunning! I've just got a few shots here from the flight to share the amazing sunset I've just experienced. Has any one been able to figure out the problem with frame rate loss whilstusing the mouse cursor ?? I disabled the pointer shadow and went from the windows aero schemeto no scheme in mouse properties.It did improve the performance. So just wondering if there are any other idea's out there ?.I go from 35~43 with PMDG NGX but whilst movingthe cursor it drops to 24~28. Cheers, Rick

Dear PMDG, I would like to know if you are able to tell us if we are going to have to install the new addon with anti-virus protections switched off ! Sound slighty daft but a few of my old addons required this, as there were a fair amount of gauges which with it on use to corrupt on download and installation,. Many thanks Steve

Hi folks, I'm sure that my problem has nothing 2 do with PMDG software, but maybe you guys are able 2 help me with my problem as well. I'm not quiet sure why, but my FSX often crashes with the message that I ran out of memory or with a simple Crash 2 the desktop. I'll show you my fsx.cfg, maybe you can find something which is not as it should be. There are some german remarks in it, there just 4 me, so I know what I've changed. Just wanted to extend my sincere appreciation and admiration to the PMDG folks...first for creating such a marvelous aircraft in the 737NGX (and the others of course). I was caught up in the chaos of release night and the problems created by external sources on their systems. Suffice to say, I ended up having my CC charged twice for the purchase. Following morning I simply submitted a ticket and had a response back within five minutes in my email. Refund for the second charge was completed that evening. Gentlemen at PMDG, I sit here typing this message on my iPad to my left and my sim laid before me, having just done an ILS autoland at Nice X on the offset 04R 041degree ILS approach.Every thing went perfectly with the landing and I am now sitting at the gate with every door and hatch open I can find...all the carts hooked up and the biggest grin a 45 year old kid can ever have!Well done team, you have taken this hobby/passion of ours to the next level...truly a team of innovators!Oh well can,t stop, off to that short runway at Gibraltar now, this machine needs flying...Before I have the wing commander tell me to mow the lawns lol.

This is a quick heads up from my side. Decided to do it after seeing so many "utterly frustrated" people posts. 3 hours ago I have purchased, downloaded, installed, activated, and added all liveries without any problem!The the initial 737 setup and the maiden flight from LOWW to LGAV were effortless as I was well prepared from the intro manual and AoAs Nick videos. Must admit that my previous experience and the recent iFly 737 flights were major factors in running the plane straight from the gate without any difficulties. Dear PMDG, Aside from all having to endure and persavere though the international criminal cyber-attack upon the NG going live, and the typical little release problems, I'm very happy with my NG and Chief's manual set. The sounds, visuals, systems, etc. have taken FSX to an entirely new level. I've also added in TrackIR 5, EzDoc, and Ulimate Traffic 2. These along with all NG will take a little tweeking to optimize. However, on my delivery flight the NG was immediately flyable and I had a solid 25+ FPS even with my plethora of addon's simultaneously running. Only kidding (kind of) Just wanted to say a massive well done to the team for producing such an amazing 737. Aside from the obvious beauty and systems depth of the thing, I'm perhaps most impressed by what is a seemingly entirely bug free product! This is a massively refreshing experience, as most developers seem to publish a RC which is really a very early beta, using customers to bug hunt for them. So, so good to just be able to jump in this bird and have 100% confidence that everything is going to work as it should right off the bat. Took you long enough though! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a 737NG to master. Cheers
