What are some of the best websites/software packages for creating an IFR flight plan ? I just want to type in my departure and destination airports and then be able to piece together a plan including all SIDs / STARs / airways / etc

As 9/11 nears and the opening of the memorial on ground zero, I can't help but mourn. Even though I was many miles away I still have a broken heart from it all. But I post this in regards to the Boeing 767 and 757 released by PMDG a little more than a year before the attacks. Hi GuysCould I seek some advice please, I'm on the verge of purchasing Windows 64bit to run my PMDG B747-400 Queen of the Skies, I have the CH USB 3 lever Yoke. I wonder if you would recommend using Windows 7 and if there are any icompatability issues I should be aware with FS2004and Window7 64Bit and the CH USB Yoke, In general have most people had good results with these systems? Good afternoon everyone, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good Virtual Airline out there with the 737-800 in their fleet. I have came across some good ones, however you need to do checkrides on VATSIM or other online networks for them. I am searching for one like the good ole days of just filing a PIREP after a flight and not having to do things online?? Thanks!

Hi.... In the past two weeks, I have tried to find my self a new GOOD QUALITY 23-24" inch full HD monitor...but untill now with no luck ! .... It must have a dot-pitch less or equal to 0.26 ..... it must be able to show a pitch dark night / cockpit without any sign of backlight/bright areas ..... it must have a good color balance (for Photoshop work) ..... It´s not that difficult....it just need to be perfect..... (or close to ) .... I will not buy it if the price is more than 550 $ .... though the price here in Denmark may be more expensive or cheaper than in your country. I am tirred of sending monitors back... so any suggestions....anyone ? Jesper.

Hey guys, So now the NGX is out, I'm considering buying a new CPU, since my current Core i2 Duo doesn't really run fsx that smooth (yes, I've tweaked quite a bit, but in the PMDG 744X I still get about 15-20 fps). So I want a new processor. I am considering the Core i7 2600K Sandy Bridge @3.4 GHz, but I don't really know what hardware would fit FSX with all sliders maxed out. Any Suggestions for a good CPU (under $350 if possible)? Thanks, Aaron

I submitted a ticket last night regarding the 737NGX. I built a new machine and finally got everything running last night. Tried to reinstall the NGX with the same Serial Number and I get an Error: Activation library initialization failed. Anyone know what the next step is to get going?

hello there, is there a way to make the controls less sensitive, i have my sliders in control/options nearly set to zero but it's still to sensitive or is this normal for the 737, and another tiny little thing izs that non of the panel lights work in the daylight, they only show up when i click on any of the 6 screens and the fmc then all the lights go out again. thanks.

My Logitech G11 is starting to die.Anyone have any recommendations for a new backlit keyboard to replace it? I've already tried the Saitek keyboard in the past. I had the one that changed 3 different colors and it stopped working after 6 months or so, so please no Saitek recommendations. I don't need extra function keys, just the standard a-z keyboard with a numpad and F1-F12. That's about it.

The 280.26 drivers just came out yesterday.Anyone else having trouble with Inspector and properly displaying antialiasing? Ran the Inspector profile tool for FSX 3 times, but AA wouldn't take when I actually fired up FSX.I had to resort to the limited AA checkbox in FSX settings in the meantime. Can't tell yet if I get better frames or not. Mostly though, just want to see if I'm not alone with the AA issues.

I was looking for a kind soul to share their PMDG 747X EZDok cameras with me (and others). What is the best way to do this? Post them somewhere? Send them via PM? Can PMDG make a special download section for predefined PMDG EZDok cameras? I am assuming that the NGX have some key camera locations that will be important to show off model details (flap mechanism internals etc.).

Hello everyone, So here’s my problem. I upgrade my computer last December and FSX at times been a ###### to run.Crash to desktop, freezes in flight. Out of memory errors messages. Last week I uninstalled everything and cleaned the registry and then started the reinstall process. Now when I load the program, I get blacked out graphics on the third (right) monitor, center and left are ok. Also, if you want to save (the location and gate) when the program opens again the terrain is completely flat. Could this be the ATI graphic card? I updated the drivers for the card last week. Gents, I run a multi-display configuration (see attachment)When I put something from FSX (or FSX itsself) on the right bottom screen (nr 7), FSX crashes (a fatal error occured). The guilty one is the G2D.GLLMore correctly, when I put something further then the right half of that screen... I didn't put this topic in the 737NGX forum because I don't think it has anythin to do with PMDG. It also happens with other planes, when I undock something and drag it to this screen. I am afraid in need help from the masses out there I just brought a brand new computer. After installing the sim using the instructions on the PMDG help site I did my first flight from KBOS to EGLL. I am sitting in the room reading a book and I look up at the computer to see that it has froze 498 miles from CYQX. I am just alittle confused as to why.
