Hi, eager to know all about the NGX I'd like to order the complete Chief Pilots Manual Set from PMDG. It cost about $329, but shipping it to europe adds another $200 if you chose FedEx (recomended by PMDG) If you choose USPS Express Mail International it cost about $87 which I consider more reasonable, but why is this not recomended? Is there a european subdelaer I can order from? regards

I will upgrade my FS PC soon. Both MOBO and CPU will change. I expect to have to reinstall Windows, as well as all software. Is there a procedure to uninstall my MD-11 and NGX licenses before upgrading, or will I be able to Activate the software on the "new" machine without problems? Vidar

Hello, Well it is probably one of the best addons for FSX and I think a very large amount of us would have this one. This thread is intended to be something like the "BIOS Settings" thread just with REX to see what people are using and what works best for them. I am currently on the laptop so I can't post them in but for all of you just get a screenshot of the settings you think are important and send them in, I think this could be interesting!

Hi Guys I really Dunno why when i had long flight with pmdg aircraft after ending flight to exit there is always fsx error. did try reinstalling and still same problem , no enb mode and stuff. i cant have my log entries recorded due to this error. please guys what really is making this problem. thank you very much Bikash kc

HiRecently I have had freezes together with a loud buzzing sound. I recently (start of July 2011) upgraded my computer with an Intel 2600K, Corsair H70 cooler and a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 motherboard. I already had a Corsair 750 watt power supply (fitted Dec 2010), Nvidia GeForce GTX280, 8Gb of ram(matched 4Gb pair Corsair DDR3 1666Mhz). Windows Home professional 64bit. I'm almost done with my new build for a NGX-computer ;) I have bought and received all parts (i7 2600K, Asus P8p67 Deluxe, Corsair XMS3 2000Mhz, CL9 memory, Intel 320 SSD 160GB), and I'm just about to start building it. There are just a few things I need help with figuring out before I go ahead. 1. Before, I have always used dBan to wipe my harddrive with zeroes because I was recommended that this would provide a much more "clean" install rather than just reformatting the drive with the OS install cd. This time I will however use my SSD for OS and FSX, and my 1TB WD caviar black will be used for storage and other games that I'm not to worried about the loading times ;…

Hi, Once again i know this isnt the correct place for this post but hopefully someone here can help... When i create routes in fsbuild i only get dct waypoints and no airways... Hi guys I'm looking to replace my Saitek throttle quadrant after getting frustrated about the spikes and the lack of feeling. I'm looking for a good set of throttles that are compatible with PMDG products. I've purchased Elite Throttle Quadrant but it is not compatible with your airplanes, and many other addons on FSX, they only work for default FSX and some payware.... So before making a purchase, on this opportunity I would like to ask you about my options. Which throttle do you have that works with PMDG (No Saitek, No CH and No Goflight)? I was thinking about PFC, do they are compatible? Do they have a true feeling?

Hello,After enjoying the Queen for some time - I recently purchased and installed the 737NG. I noticed later that the correct procedure if you have both aircraft is to install the Ng first THEN the Queen.Well I was hoping that I would not be affected by this since I had the Queen up and running great. However now when I try to use the Queen it has the front gear locked and I cannot manuever the a/c.So I attempted to delete and re-install it. After deleting it I attempted to re-install it. An error message comes up saying that you are trying to install an older version than what is detected on the machine and that must be deleted first. Well I have deleted all that i …

Hi, everyone. I had a problem installing the PNW scenery from Orbx and the only way to solve this is to do the painful job of reinstalling FSX. I was reading PMDG's guide for it and it says the following: I use Win XP and was wondering if there would be any advantage installing FSX in C:\ in this OS istead of C:\Program Files. Cheers

Hi I have a question about overclocking graphics cards, I have a GTX560 Ti and using the MSI afterburner to overclock. Just wondering what the best setting would be to over clock and what are the pros and cons to overclocking? Sorry I am new to this so I am learning. Oh and I have a I5 processer if this helps. Is there in any simulators FS9 or FSX a possibility to simulate PAR radar approach. PAR radar is a precision approach radar where a controller guides pilots with information about the planes heading and hight according to a virtual glide slope. Mainly used by the military. In some cases used by civilian aviation. gura75

Hello all, I am the wife of Phil S (he is known here mostly as Dougal I understand). Phil asked me to login here and pass on that his surgery was reasonably successful. He is none too happy at the moment, as the surgeon has told him he's not allowed home to his (precious?!) flightsim for "some time", but apparently did not qualify this (cannot say I mind too much!). I have absolutely no understanding of what he means, but says "are there any 'SOPS' for this'? He says you will understand!? I have a few addons that I was wondering if you guys could give your opinion on what order to install them and also what order to have them in the scenery library. In the past I've always just had my mesh below landclass but I'm not sure if that's the best way. Lately I have been seeing an increase in posts that do not have a name, or they just have a "handle". Is this rule still in force or has it been relaxed? Also, if a name is still mandatory, does this have to be first and last, or just first?

There are so many PMDG liveries now that it is becoming difficult to keep track of the "latest" for each aircraft. For the 737NGX, you do have some "new" and "updated" entries which are helpful. Would it be possible to add a "posting date" column to the list of liveries on the download page? I think that would nice add-on to the excellent product pages. Thanks.

Hey, I was looking for a B-2 Spirit to fly the other day, and I noticed that there are none! I think this could b a good project for PMDG to take, because a lot of people like this specific airplane and it's a big hole in the sky - no one has done even with a VC. I do understand that it is very difficult to do it without all the classified information, but is there any chance? Or is it against PMDG policy to do military airplanes like the B-2? Anyways, it's just a question, not a request fo something, so no need for anybody to ge mad at me.... Eduardo Rubini

Hi guys and pmdg, Would it possible to but fact to all the predictions and estimations flying around into what PMDG are actually going to be doing post 737 expansion package release. Robert has mentioned a remake of the 747-400, the 777 and dash 8 projects. Also it has been suggested that there are 1 or 2 secret projects that we do not know about.. It shouldn't harm anyone's ego or reputation to claify what the current PLANS are for PMDG? All the best Alex
