I just would like to take a moment to say the whole PMDG team a big thanks! During the last few weeks after release of the 737NGX there have been many complainers nerds etc... But i would like to say you guys do the best job on the whole FS World! Your planes are just like the FSDreamteam scenery team! The Audi R8 of the streets or the chips in chips and fish! Actually PMDG and FSDT is the only reason why i play FSX with all his crashes and bugs. And everytime i play with the PMDG 737NGX im the most happy guy on this planet!Thanks for everything! And i cant wait for the 777 in 2-3 years! I will buy it for sure because even with 70 (im now 20+) i will still play FS product…

Some years ago, I read in this forum that making a "stand alone" filght sim would cost many thousands of dollars. The only stand alone and realistic simulator I know for a "transport aircraft" is the "Aerowinx 747" by Hardy Heinlin, which should be relaunched, we hope, in a few months... Just wondering whether PMDG wouldn't team up with other developers in order to make not only a precision aircraft, but a brand new simulator focused on precision. A simulator with a realistic ATC, brand new weather engine (with water data for weather radar), real winds and flght performance etc... So, just for curiosity, what are the problems involved on such a project? Teo Halfen

Hi everyone I have started having problems loading FSX I can load ONLY if I select Autogen density to None and Scenery complexity to Very sparse. Naturally FSX looks really quite baron and not what I would like. I have tried deleting my FSX.cfg and rebuilding without success :( Has anyone encountered this and is there a fix? I have contemplated trying a FSX repair, if I do would I have to re-intstall all my add-ons? Any help gratefully received please :)

When I load my 373ng (FX9 version) cold and dark, The fuel cut off lever are always up. Is there a config file line entry to set the levers down at startup?ThanksJason Chandler

How are SIDS and STARS assigned? Are these included in the flight plan and submitted for approval by ATC? If not how are these handled? For SIDS are these issued to pilots when requesting clearance by clearance delivery? How about STAR's--are they issued at some point nearing the descent phase of the flight? I have been using SIDS/STARS for some time now, including them in the planning of my flights (based on the general direction of travel) but I would like to know exactly how and when these are issued instead of basing it on what I have heard from others.Thanks,ChrisPorter

I have a quick question, I was wondering if now that PMDG has developed a new technology for the 737 ngx, that now new releases will come sooner and more on time? I know that the technology is new but are you actually modulate it into new products like the q400 and the 777? And by the way what stages are the Q and the 777 at now? ~Thanks!Stephen Spinelli

After the Dash8, I thought it would be nice to see a new ATR series....perhaps the ATR42/72-600 after deliveries start next year...any thoughts?

Today I recieved my new saitek x-65f controls, but I have one question. How can the throttle be used on a pmdg md 11, 747-400. and how is the trust reverser activated. I can see if the acft is twing eng but weth it comes to a trijet or four eng acft how is the throttle work.so any help will be apreciated.

Hi there - EDIT: Validated now - but would still like to be able to access support for the future :) Would just like to say here that this is for the mods/staff to read as I cannot get in contact any other way: Have bought products previously and have had no problem - Now i'm trying to activate the 747x and having no joy - Tried getting in contact via the support site and it said it didn't recognise my email address (despite me having a working commerce account) Can anyone help me sort this out? Hey everyone, just thought i'd say that i'm enjoying the 737 very much and I just printed my charts for MIA-JFK flight tonight :) I wanted to ask how ever, how you guys get the fuel calculations correct and what not with the 737 using FSBuild. Also, when I look at a route on flightaware, I then try and find it on fsbuild and some of the SIDS and/or STARS are not there in the database at all. Then when I finally decide on a plan, I put it into the FMC and it doesn't make sense/messed up route etc. I do have 1109 AIRAC cycle for PMDG and FSBuild... (they really need to make those things free)...

Hello,I was wondering to myself this question:Why, in every single payware tube liner I own (NGX, PMDG 744X, and CS757) will VNAV jump from, say, 1200 fpm to 5600 fpm in the blink of an eye, then stay there for about 25 seconds, and then settle back to ~1000 fpm?is it the speed/alt constritions? Or something else? Just kinda wanted to know . Thanks,

Hello everyone, I know this is not PMDG related, but I hope to get logical answer to the problem I'm experiencing. I've looked on other forums but has yet gotten any real answers / solutions. I've been experiencing this message "Visual C++ Error, Runtime Error R6025 -Pure Virtual Function Call" while replaying FSX videos. It doesn't happen all of the time, and when it does, it forces FSX to shut down. After restarting FSX, sometime the video will play and sometimes it shows this "Visual C++ Error, Runtime Error R6025 -Pure Virtual Function Call" again. On a mid range system Core 2 Duo with 4 GB DDR2 RAM with an older ATI Radeon Card? I don't use add on scenery and a run my settings on the low side no add on WX program either, just the MSFS real time WX and default clouds. I'm interested in getting either one for my long haul trips, but I'd prefer the one that doesn't tax the system as much. Which one do ya'll recommend? Jacob Saanders

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Grace 8 crew from PMDG is ok - I just got a text from RSR. A plane crashed into the crowd a little bit ago at the Reno Air Races. It's national news on the various stations. The Video on CNN looks really bad - seems like it was one of the Unlimited class planes like a P-51 or a Sea Fury - it nose dived straight into the spectator area west of the main grandstand area at a very high rate of speed. More info as I get it - our thoughts are with the victims... just terrible. EDIT - CNN confirming it was a P-51 now.

Hey guys, so last week only 9 years after i started working in the company i am in now in the uk iv forund out they have a pc scheme to allow employees to buy a new compter My Budget was £2000, So the company my work uses was pc world so i headed up there today and took alook. I normaly build my own but thought id take this offer up. After looking around the best spec they had in was a HP with 23inch hd monitor for £1099. The spec i7-2600k 3.4 with 8meg cache8 gig ram2TB HDD1 GB NVida GT530 I know these are ok specs just wanted to know if anyone else has simlar specs. ESSA - Arlanda4- ENGM - Gardermoen5- LFPG - Charles de Gaulle This becouse theese airport are close togheter, great ATC coverage on Vatsim and a only a range off 1-hour flight, and ofcourse great Airport with "Mega airports senarios" ;)

Hi, Does anyone know how to contact PMDG? I have tried their customer support tag but it keeps loading for minutes, the same with their tickets, nothing seems to go through. I have a question about merging two panels, the Captains panel and F/O panel to make a full MIP on a large (40+ inch) screen. I have seen someone do it with the Level D 767 and he used a 65" TV and it looks great. Hopefully someone will have a solution to my problem. I have recently installed the Antilag Alternative FPS Limiter as per the readme into the FSX root folder on my system. My FPS set to 30 in the CFG file and everything was working well with the frame rate constant at around 30 FPS. I ususally fly the MD11 and place the 2D panels of the cockpit on my second monitor. When I moved the 2D panels over to my second monitors my FPS of the main monitor dropped dramatically from 30FPS to 7 FPS. If I dragged the panels back onto the main monitor the frame rate increased back to the original 30 FPS. I then increased the FPS number in the Antilag from 30 to 60, same result. If I us…
