Hi there,Someone tried these new panels from Saitek? I'm wondering if they are compatible with PMDG's planes (especially the MD-11)? They seem quite nice to me, and that for only $150. With the J41 coming with only VC it would be nice to have a module like this to tune the radio's and autopilot. No need for struggle with the mouse!Well, if nobody owns it, I will post my experiences with these modules in the forum as soon as I have it.

I have seeen several Microsoft Flight Videos as well as Xplane 10. But none have impressed me more for potential than X-plane 10 has. When the time comes will PMDG be choosing the Platform that offers the most flexibility for their future projects? One of the great features of Xplane 10 is the ability to take full advantage of the CPU and GPU and they are even considering 64-bit in their first Service Pack. I do not think Microsoft Flight can compete with this.Check the 2 videos below. Incredible!

...Thursday, I went and spent over $2,000 on the parts for a new computer. For some reason, I also bought the PMDG 737 NGX Thursday night, and tried it out on my "old" system (Mac Pro with ATI 5780 card). I'm getting 25-30 FPS reliably on the Mac. Here's what I blame PMDG for: The new computer is still in parts in the other room-- I haven't been able to pull myself away from the NGX long enough to finish building the new system! Man, this thing is great (currently at FL 250, enroute KSNA-KSJC)... Kent

I recently changed my email and also re built my computer- I've re installed FS9, but I cant locate my confirmation Id for the PMDG 747-400- and now that my email is changed, i cant even get a new password :( HELP please

I've recently downloaded an addon plane to my FSX stable which seems to have corrupted my PMDG B747-400(Passenger and Cargo) and MD11 aircraft. When I try to download a B747-4 saved flight, or set up a new flight I get the following error messages in turn; PMDG_74700_Main.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL PMDG_74700_ACS.DLL cannot find PMDGOptions.DLL PMDG_74700_Overhead.DLL cannot find PMDGoptions.DLL When I try to download an MD-11 saved flight, or try to set up a new flight I simply get the standard message 'Microsoft FSX has encountered a problem and needs to close down'. Hello; PLEASE HELP !!!I am flying a PMDG Queen of the Skys 747-400. Everything works great until I decide to take a look around the cockpit. The airframe is gone and I am looking outside the acft and seeing the terrain. I have tried every trick described and even set the HIGHMEMFIX=1 , even though I am only using WIN 7 32 not 64. Hi, I have a duel boot Win7 64 bit and XP 32 bit both on separate drives and each system has an identical copy of FSX and FS9.I shut down my machine as normal last night and on startup this morning XP will only boot in safe mode and Win7 boots normally but all programs crash, even ms office. The error I get on win7 is appcrash. Now I am pretty techy myself but totally stumped, it can't be a hardrive error as each os has it's own drive.Any ideas? Ironically I created a dual boot so I could have a backup in case one hardrive got messed up, I never expected both systems to go on the same day..Cheers

I know this is not PMDG related, but I don't know where else to ask, and I know there are some pretty knowledgable people in here, so here it goes. I purchased an addon airport scenery and found that I did'nt like it, so I uninstalled it. I am now back to my original scenery except that there is grass on parts of my runway and it appears that the airport is in the middle of the woods. Anyone know where I could go to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.PS. I uninstalled by using uninstaller included with product and also by deleting folder from root fsx folder.

PFE or Radar Contact? which would you choose and why? ive tried both and RC4 seems less complicated but PFE seems to allow more options like VFR and basic ground handling. Just wanted some insider views so I can practice with them ready for the NGX. Im doing short hops with the J41/MD11 atm. And some back to basics flying with the A2A B377 COTS.

Prior to purchasing my new Boeing 737NGX, I had never heard of Nvidia Inspector. However, after downloading it, and spending some time figuring out how to use it, I quickly learned this program alone was worth the price of the 737NGX. My graphic displays throughout FSX have just improved so much, it is hard for me to describe the improvement! My question. I have a Nvidia GTX280 card, currently with driver version 8.17.12.8026. I am basicly afraid to update the driver as I am afraid to mess up my Nvidia Inspector settings. I have both FS9 and FSX, and I seldom fly the "stock/default" planes. I also have PMDG 744 for both version. Recently I was playing around with both of them back and forth (some other unrelated test I was doing) and realized the flight dynamics is in many way more "realistic" in FS9 compared to FSX. This seemed to be true in both the stock and payware addons. It is hard to exactly quantify but definitely there is a significant different to the way a stock/default Cessna flies in FSX compared to FS9. In terms of not only aerodynamics up in the air but also motion on the ground. The PMDG 747 for FS9 also flies more realistic than the FSX version and it almost seems like the…

Hi,Im confused about all the VOR things. Despite them not being used often I would still like to know. To be more specific the VOR A, B, C (and please name them if there is more). What is the difference? I want to do a VOR C approach but Im not sure how to do it with the 747 and the FMC. I know the basics of how to use the VOR but not the approaches using the FMC.Thanks

I just got the GTX450 in my new computer and have the 280.26 driver installed. Every once in a while the screen goes black for a second and then comes back to normal. I checked the temp and it is running from 40 to 60 C. Nvidia suggested I reinstall the driver and I did that....no change...Any ideas for a more stable driver?

Is PAR approach ( precision approach radar) comparable to ILS cat 1 approach? Or are all ILS approaches superior to PAR. Is there a way of comparing these two approaches? Despite it is called PAR (precision approach radar) it does not give the same precision as ILS, i imagine. Any thoughts on this topic? gura75

Hey PMDG, I am a massive fan of the 747X and NGX. I only fly those two planes, and sadly now I really only fly the NGX. I have a question, would you guys ever consider making a highly realistic 747-200 - I know the future is laden in computers and doing less and less - but a 747-200, with your expertise and colossal attention detail, would be a phenomenal aircraft to fly in FSX - or whatever FS is out at the time. I would honestly spend about 300 dollars, if not a little more for something of this nature.
