I'm thinking about geting this expensive yoke. I have read that it is top notch and worth the price? Hi,Since the upcoming MS Flight and XPlane 10 are not too far away anymore, PMDG is of course gonna switch to a new platform in the near future. But I was wondering, as PMDG has quite some airplanes, which ones will be released for the new platform? I'd say the 737NGX for sure. But what about the MD-11? And the J41? I really don't think, and I also do not hope that the 747X is gonna be made for a new flight sim platform, although I still love that bird, but it simply needs a redo too, because it's got technology of the old 737NG. In my opinion PMDG should not waste their time to releasing old planes for new platforms. I would say make a redo of the 747 and release it late…

Hi,Little of topic, but my system is pretty much for FSX specific (sometimes using it for school either). I got all of my new parts, which I'm really happy about, but not yet a new GPU. But I'm gonna upgrade soon. I'm gonna buy the MSI GTX580 Lightning (1.5GB). I now a GTX560ti might be enough, but I'm also buying it for future purposes, because I'm planning to switch from my PS3 to the PC for gaming. Of course the MSI GTX580 is a great card, but it need some power I think. I currently have the OCZ 700W PSU. Do you think my PSU has got enough power for my new GPU if I upgrade to that new GPU?Thanks

Hi,Was just curious. Are there any people here that wanted to be pilot, but they couldn't because of something medical or something else? Was just curious why flying schools wouldn't allow you...Unfortunately I will never be one for certain. I have an eye desease, which causes bad vision in light environments. :(

I'm getting serious artifacts/corruption with FSX. It affects all aircraft/scenery. My rig is in my sig, also I'm running W64... Got a OOM error earlier today (weird). I've done the uiautomationcore.dll, bojote's tweaks (via his online tool).What I've tried:1) virus scan2) roll back to 280.xx driversI think my graphics card is about to give out, but am having no other problems. Any other ideas?

I have recently bought the 737 from pmdg, amazing, kept me occupied for some time and will always be a favorite but what about my giant? My 747 just can't level up to the 737, but I still love it to death, have ever since I bought it... Now my question: does anybody know of the possibility of a better version of the 747 coming out from pmdg? Or a more detailed, like the detail found in the 73... Is there a possibility this could be the next project they are working on? :D

I cannot seem to do anything. I installed the 737NGX to use with FSX. When I first tried to open the aircraft I get this message: "This game needs to connect to the internet. Please make sure that your internet connection is active and enter the Activation Code included with the game." Well, I entered the Product key for FSX and no joy, then I tried the Product key for Acceleration and still no joy. I got on this forum and determined this problem needed a trouble ticket, so I went to support.precisionmanuals.com and find I need to register. I create an account and am told I will get an email where I verify the account. I get the email, click on the verify link...be…

1. ok just wounder any one having the diffrent distance range on teh diffrent controllers like Approach, Center, Departure etc. how far out they reach and shold take contact....2. And another question, I usely ask the ATC for Initial climb alt for takeoff , is this bad or lacy, should I have cehcked it my self ;)3. On ATIS info you get also "Trl50" etc. this means that you should get QNH to STD at FL5000 right?

Hello, I am having a heck of a time. First I just purchased the J41. After download i used the activation code but it didn't work. Then I sent an email requesting help using the email listed in my DL invoice email. I received a return email stating this is not how it is done anymore. No prob, I go to the support portal. It requires email verification to create a ticket... I follow the email link to validate my act and it sends me to a "server not found" page. I have a new conformation email sent. Same thing... So I have no idea how to get a hold of PMDG to receive help... Can someone point me in the right direction? Much thanks and have a great day!Eric Titus

Dear PMDG Customer support, I would like to thank you all for you help over this long day as have seemed to run into many issues since installing my PMDG 747-400x. I know by now you all must hate me for the questions I have asked but let me tell you your hard work has made me a happy customer. Without you all I would probably be on my oh lets say 25th re-install!!haha. But instead I am relaxing and reading through the manual. Hi.I bought my copy at August 5th and, until yesterday I flew many times with the NGX. So you launched the Sp1 that, if I am correct, asks to uninstall the NGX and reinstall to apply the SP1. So well, I uninstalled, but I forgot where I saved the Setup, if I did. As I saved the mail, I tried the link but it says the data was expired. After only less than 90 days I have to buy the extended download? Shouldn't you have a duration time of this link, especially in these cases where the product was ellected for n SP's, or in these cases, should'nt you make a exception time?Just my 2 cents, or better, my almost 6 obamas.Thanx,Paulo RibeiroSão Bernardo do CampoSão PauloBrazil.

It kind of pi$$es me off that many users get off with asking for support without signing their posts.Having to reveal my identity and then also being kind in answering them really bugs me.There are rules set by PMDG, either they need to be followed or not be in place at all.

Anyone know why when I am flying at random times my speed tape starts jumping up and down and needles start jumping in time with it .It makes speed unable to control and keeps increasing.Wind indicator blinks along with it.
