First off, before i start, this is not a topic to ask a question, it's more likely to gather opinions and just a general discussion as i was curios about it. I am not asking if they will make one or not, just want to open a discussion here. I for myself can only say i am AMAZED of the NGX. As a 737 classic fan however, i'd have everything i wanted with the NGX and the "CLX?" if PMDG would plan to build a proper, high quality, deep system depth simulation of the 737-300-500 series. This is just MY opinion, and i'd like to know yours. Do you think the 737 classic is too old to still gather some interest of others, or do you think it's old but still a product that would sell…

All of a sudden I am gettiong an error message when I try to start FSX. It insists that I have duplicate copies of FSUIPC installed, which I find hard to believe as I haven't installed anything new apart from a helicopter from the hovercontrol website. Anyone have an insight on how to fix this? I have tried deleting FSUIPC from the modules folder and re-installing it, but it did not work.

I'm pretty new to video but was pretty happy with the results of this week long effort. Hurry and view it before youtube rips my song of choice ;) Some time lapse fun where I did my best to sync as much as possible to the music. Gentlemen: I am an early purchaser of the NGX, and prior to that a long time ago I purchased the download version of the J41. Separately I own the CD version of the 747-400 for FSX. For the first two, the NGX and the J41 I have successfully purchased an LLC - extended download. In both cases no matter how many times I have clicked the request to re-send the verification email it has NEVER arrived. The email address in my profile is correct. As a result I cannot submit a Support ticket to Re-download the NGX - and if I needed to, I would not be able to dl the J41. I do need to re-download the NGX. When submitting a support ticket. The forms page is really slow. The bar at the bottom never moves it seems. Are PMDG aware of this?

With the spetacular NGX's landing light I'm thinking in a setup to make FSX look darker at night as I think the original look very bright for a dark night.Anyone know a how to setup that?

Hi all! I've been a long time customer with PMDG, and I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I am with the aircraft that they produce for us simmers. Most recent 3 purchases have been the MD-11, JS41, and the 737NGX. Anyhow, I have been noticing different reactions to the types of weather related programs that are available for FSX. I'm far less interested in the 'which program is better' debate; however, I am very interested to know which program (ie. ASE or REX) seems to work best with PMDG products. Some customers seem to have problems with certain add-on weather programs. As a side note; I would like to thank the team at PMDG for inspiring my pursuit of aviation.…

Hi all. I've flown my PMDG planes (and my 767) across the US. I'm interested in seeing more of the FSX world instead of just the US and the occasional visit to PANC (US), PHNL (still the US), MMMX, RJBB and VHHH. Does anyone have an idea where I can find some PMDG routes in Africa, Europe and pretty much anywhere other than the US? (A link to charts for the area is a plus, but I can try to get them from Google) The planes I fly are the 747, MD11, NGX and 767. (I have the JS4100 but do not fly it... yet) Thanks for any routes (or route ideas) you can provide.

The NGX has highlighted a lack in performance on my system, only 16 to 17 FPS at Fly Tampa scenery and as low as 6 to 7 FPS at Heathrow extreme. I am considering upgrading my Graphics card, the problem is I have an off the shelf PC a Packard Bell iPower 3. The spec is in the signature block. When the NGX released a lot of discussion ensued re sytems and frame rates. In response to an email it was suggested that I overclock my CPU an i7 860@ 2.80GHz 2.8GHz, I think it is a quad core. The thought of overclocking leaves me cold as I have no ability in this area, I would consider it if I had somebody close that knew what they were doing but that is unlikely.and therefore…

I was watching twit today and they mentioned following maps website by NOKIA: http://maps.nokia.com/ please select 3D maps from top right hand.it will ask you to install a plug in, please allow it.then choose a city by pressing at the lower left hand side of the page (labeled).a list of cuties will come up, choose any, and enjoy flying around the city in real photo quality tour. I just wish that we could get this kind of quality in FSX or even in the new MSFS when it comes to 3D real photo scenery. finally; I hope I'm not braking any rules by posting links in here. thanks

Hi Guys I had problem with fsx , regarding when i fly pmdg aircraft of any 747-md-11 -737ngx after a long flight or short flight when i try to end my flight there is problem. the fsx wont end flight its just stuck and halt and after a long time fsx error msg appear. but when try other aircraft and exit there is not fatal error why only pmdg. so guys if you could know how to get rid of this problem would be highly appreciated.Thank you Bikash kc

I recently installed some 3rd party scenery which I think installed Visual C++ 2005, since then whenever I enter a 'A' or 'S' into the FMS scratch pad I also get a change of view, as if the FMS is not capturing the letter input exclusively. This affects all my PMDG planes, 737NGX, 747, & MD-11 Could someone off a solution please? The key commands for 'A' 'S' 'SHIFT-A' & 'SHIFT-S' are deleted in FSX controls. Thanks Dave

Hi, I never noticed something strange, as I rarely used the wing view, before last nite. This is common to all the PMDG a/c I use in FSX (MD11 / B747 / 737 NGX): I've got a wonderful general graphic rendering, but in wing view, in clean configuration (does not happen with slats / flaps), there are some aliasing / big squares at the back edge of the wings. Not a drama, but all looks well except that ! It's so ugly ... I use latest ATI catalyst, with all slides to the right, "use application" unchecked, the "high detail a/c" in FSX is checked. My rig: I7E860 not o/c (I'm a noob in oc'ing), 8 gigs RAM, ATI 5870, MB P7P55D. Thanks again for your ideas.

Hi guys I am using the PMDG Queen of the skies on FS 2004 I am on the verge of buying a new system and would like to use it with FS2004 on Windows 7 with 64 bits.However, i have heard of problems using FS2004 on Window 7 64Bits and would like to know if you would advise me against using this combination.Can anyone tell me do these problems tend to be of a similar nature in origin? and if so, are they easy to resolve giving normal performance. some people report problems while others seem fine, any chaps out there using the Queen with Wind 7 64Bts are there any pitfalls I should be aware of? and are these problems exaggerated ? Really enjoying the 737NGX, is there any chance your team might consider doing a KingAir B200 in the future? Of course after you have a nice vacation from doing a fantastic job with the 737NGX. Really loved flying your B1900 in FS9. There seems to be a lot of FSX folks who would love having a B200 at the level you guys build too. Similar to your J41? Thanks! CheersMartin

Hi All, This my first post on this PMDG related site. I am very interested in buying the 737NGX simulation as I was an aircraft engineer who worked on this type before I retired. It looks superb. I would normally prefer to buy this programme on a DVD as my internet connection is painfully slow (I live in my retirement in a rural area of western France) Unfortunately fast broadband is reserved for city dwellers it seems. First question is, what is the size of the 737 NGX, and secondly is it possible for the download to be saved in case of future problems. Can anyone help please?
