Hi Guys, Really enjoying the new NGX and have lashed out on some new orbx scenery. Anyway, as the title states I am using three monitors, however, the left and right monitors have a slightly distorted view. Seems like the scenery and the panel on left and right are stretched a bit. I would love to be able view all monitors in the same detail as my center monitor. Would this have something to do with the Vertical sync fix (I don't have it applied) and are there any other members or PMDG staff that have any ideas or advice to offer in this regard? Do those who have a multi monitor set-up experience similiar issue? Many Thanks in Advance. NicholasB

Hello and top of the day to you. I feel like this has been reported in the past but I just haven't seen it yet. My highest regards to the team that constructed this sim. WOW! I can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said except that I'm proud to be an owner of this simulation. My problem is that I can't read any of the instrument panel, overhead panel, fonts. I can read the instrument readouts, but not the identification fonts. I am posting a pic and maybe you can tell me what to do. I've tired changing the lighting and other things, but to no avail. Maybe just my computer problem. Who knows? Hello guys 'n gals I know the forum numbers have gone through the roof since the PMDG NGX release, so a lot won't know me. For those 'wot does', I finally have a new date set for my surgery. This means I'll be winding down here over the coming week or so. Two points... 1) Bit of a bu&&er to have had it delayed in the first place, but it has meant I've been able to get a good few (TROUBLE FREE) days in the WONDERFUL NGX, before loosing yet more of what little grey matter I have left. I"m posting here becuase i'm seeing this with the NGX. After an epic saga of reinstalling windows (twice) and FSX I don't remember how many times to fix an issue with DirectX, I'm still running into graphical glitches - and I have to wonder if they are hardware related. Changing views, or going from full screen to windowed and back, is causing problems. Black screens, partial texture loss, full cockpit loss etc. Is this a sign that my video card is giving up the ghost or do I have a memory fault? Your thoughts would be appreciated. I had a perfectly function NGX yesterday. Flying like a dream. This morning I installed HotFix 1 and now nothing works. Aircraft loads with every warning light illuminated and there it sits. Trouble ticket submitted but no answer from PDMG yet. Any body got any ideas.

I wanted to download a few liverys for the NGX and just saw this: As you can see in the second pic it doesn't have the NGX product page at the top, just like it was befor release. Has anybody got any ideas what's wrong? On my laptop it workes fine!

Hey Guys, With PMDG pushing towards virtual cockpits in FSX, I'm not looking to start a discussion of 2D versus virtual cockpits. What tips can you give me, who's never used a virtual cockpit? What sort of additional software or hardware would you recommend? How easy is it to manipulate stuff in the VC? I only have a joystick with a hat and have looked around in the VC on the MD11 (I have that) but I've never used it.

Hi, just a query on the tweaking tool for FSX. I have a Intel® Core i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz 2.93GHZ, so my question on the CPU is, do I select yes or no for "Is hyperthreading active"? Also, there is a question about how many CPUs/threads show in task manager. I've gone to the "Performance" tab and I see 8 different rectangular boxes under "CPU Usage History". So is my answer to that question - 8? Lastly, the "vSync Fix" option. Do I check it or uncheck it, given my system specs in my signature? Thanks in advance for the help!

My computer is down (motherboard shorted out) and I would like to know if I could buy the 737nxg now,download it on my wife's laptop and install it later on my computer when I get a new motherboard? D.J.

Is anybody getting the following message as well when trying to install a service update from the PMDG Service Update site? I am trying to download since days starting 9th August. Need the update for the BAE JS4100 but this also happens for any other update. 404 - File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.Maybe a issue with the PMDG server? Thanks.

Currently I have a 240GB SSD drive as my main/fsx drive. The drive is a Sata II and gets about 250r/220w speeds. I have two questions: 1) Will i see any increase/decrease in performance if I were to buy another SSD, then have my "main drive" C: and "FSX drive" D: So two separate SSDs. 2) What if the second "FSX drive" was a Sata III drive with speeds around 550r/530w. Do you think that there would be an increase/decrease in performance going that route? Thanks

Sorry for the repost but I thought these questions would be better answered here than in the NGX forum. I know the Radio minimums is a confirmed NGX bug, but is there any way to fix it while we wait for an update. Mine was originally at 100, then it went to 9100 and it's now sitting at 27100. I really don't fancy clicking through 27000 to get to 100. I have what is probably a basic question regarding the FMC (I'm still learning). What does UNABLE 250 KTS AT (WAL-18) actually mean. I have entered a flight plan from EGAA RWY 25 to EGGP RWY 09 at a cruising altitude of FL200 as it's only a very short flight. WAL18 is the SLP for Wallasey with a restriction of 250Kts or less…

Is there anything available that allows two people to be in the same cockpit over the internet. Say a friend in his house as first officer and me in mine in captain. I ask him to extend the flaps, he does it on his computer and it happens on my plane as well and vice versa, and if there is what is it and can it be used with the 737 NGX.

I haven't seen any posts from Alan Bradbury "Chock" in a long time. He must be one of the biggest 737 fans out there, and I'm curious about what he thinks of the NGX. In the months leading up to the NGX release, he's been a very valuable sources of infomation on the NG, and is known to own all the addons ever released depicting this fine aircraft. I hope he's okay, maybe on vacation. Has anyone been in touch with him?
