Hi all.I have never had the joy of flying a real aircraft and I really envy all those who fly and get paid for it!!Although FS is a great subtitute to this I really would like very much to know: How do real pilots feel the "flying" with FS?How close is it to the real one? In which aspects?And what would be the greatest difference to real flying?Thanks,Christos

Hey guys, Just wanted to know what kinda frames you'd expect to see from this PC (It's the one I have, I'm just intrigued as to what people think I should be getting from a system like this.) http://www.overclock...id=1270&subcat= In FSX, with a few addons like Active Sky, REX, the NGX and some scenery really. The NGX looks awesome, and I can't wait to get it, but if I can't get decent frames then it's not really worth the effort! Cheers, Tom Cahill

I just simply wanted to say thanks to everyone at PMDG. I vented my frustration on the forum about the activation process this evening, albeit knowing full well that PMDG were doing their utmost in exceptional circumstances. All I can say is that the NGX captures the talent, rigor and passion of the people at PMDG and it really is a work of art.. I cannot find any other way to describe it.

Ok guys, I know this has been discussed here many times before. But I was thinking perhaps we could have a locked thread pinned to the top of the forum where this fleeting quesiton is answered by the experts, such as Ryan, Robert and the rest of frequent flyers who seem to be getting great frame rates on their PCs: What is the ideal hardware setup? Maybe we could also gather all the tweaks and software suggestions available out there that have stood the test of time. To many of you this is all second nature, but to dinosaurs like me who stopped simming a couple of years ago and are trying to catch up tp have a great experience with the NGX this would be invaluable infor…

When switching veiws from in the cockpit to outside the 737 and the 747-8 expansion pack always show a lil skelton and slugish to show is that basically telling me i need to upgrade to vista 64 if there is one or windows 7 64 bit. here is my specs on my computer to make sure they will work: processor amd phenom x4 9750 quad core processor, ram 8 gb ddr 2, video ati radeon hd 4650 1024mb hard drive 1 tb

Hi guys. I thought post on here because I cant submit another ticket in regards to never receiving the download email. The server times out. I know many others had the same issue but from what i understand a fair few have had it resolved. I have already submitted one ticket about 20 hours ago. Just hope I can grab your attention. Dear PMDG, On ordering the 737NGX I had to retrieve a password using the password retrieval service. In the that was sent to me I noticed that the password I entered originally was sent to me. This, as you may be aware of (there are sure to be some smart software engineers in your company) is risky from a security perspective in various ways: (1) E-mails which you send out are visible to all. If someone is listening to internet traffic at one point in the communication chain he will see my password.(2) By sending me my originally entered password, it seems that you are storing this password either in a plain text or encrypted format. I have bought today and i 've just installed my 737 when it call me for activation an error tell me that i cannot connect to activation server and after this that my license is not valid my order is 163157 . Ivan. Thx!

The NGX subforum is the proper place for posts involving the airplane - I'm moving anything regarding it specifically to that forum now. Hi couldent post it in the product support i had to post it here.. can i get someone who works with the product supports email so i can send my URL:s for the MD11X and the Jetstream4100 so i can reinstall FSX and then install the ngx and the rest of my 2 PMDG planes! Thank you!!

In light of the appalling attacks on PMDG's e-commerce infrastructure, it seems to me that they've been punished somewhat for announcing the release date and giving these criminals the opportunity to plan the attacks. It's such a shame that PMDG has to be punished for its transparency and willingness to please it's customer's by giving us advance notice of the release. I don't think we can be critical of PMDG if they never announce a release date in advance again. We all lose as a result of this.... Justin

It must be so frustrating for you guys !!I think most customers understand the situation and if we the customers could help, we would. This will pass and soon things should be back to normal.Shame on the sad folks who are causing this disruption !!! Congratulations guys in your grwat efforts to cope with this situation. I have every faith in PMDG and this is only temporary inconvenience. I am so looking forward to buying this plane.I have been following it's development from day 1. So without noticing the post on your facebook wall, PMDG, a woke up and directly went to my computer for downloading the NGX. Filled in all information but when i pressed on place order (after credit card information) i get this: Dear customer,We are currently experiencing a database connection problem on our store.We apologize for the inconvenience.Please notify the store administrator so that we may fix the problem as soon as possible and let you know when the store becomes available again.Thank you for your cooperation!
