Just a quick question to those real life pilots here in the forum:When do you extend the landing gear?Are there any rules when you do so or do you just choose the moment you like?

Will the ngx feature the same refueling system that the md11 has. Example. One can observe the fuel level rising realistically as it is pumped into the aircraft

PMDG did u by any chance put in medic from Tf2 in your js4100. My freind sent me this picture. Look up medic tf2 and you will see the resemblance. .

Hello to all, First I'd like to say I'm sorry if this has been asked before and if it's not the right place to ask. With the NGX just around the corner I'm going to completely reinstall everything on my PC.It came to my mind that I own a Danish copy of Win7-64 Home Premium... For FS2Crew I need to change languageto get the speech recognition to work. I can use Vistalizator to do that BUT it doesn't work with SP1 for Win7. So, what I would like to know is if there's any difference in FSX with or without Win7 SP1 installed?Is it okay to not install SP1 regarding performance? Or do I really need SP1 of other reasons? Hi all! Would not want to be without, this amazing 737NGX from PMDG, sotherefore I decided yesterday, to finally buy a new PC + FSX Gold version. Here's a shot looking out the Captain's #2 Window on a 777. I couldn't help but laugh at the placard in the window frame. Several years ago I ventured into the Flight Sim world and became hooked. I also experienced my first online purchases. The first few were horrible and down right disgusting and I actually was scammed out of several hundred dollars. Ok I know it's premature and the NGX still hasn't left the hanger yet...I'm not the kinda guy to ask a million questions about upcoming products but I wanted to know if the freighters would be released with the pax version or will it be like the 744 release and the freighters come later?I have the sops and FCOM for the 777F so I am hoping I will get my hands on that variant on release.Cheers

Hi Guys, I'm sorry to post this here, but I know there is so much FS knowledge contained in this forum that I will get a proper answer here. Last week I decided to finally switch to FSX (think we all know why ;-) ) and to be honest I found it a very frustrating ecperience at the start, but after a week of tweaking and setting up stuff it's running good. Just one thing I can't seem to fix. I use TOPCAT to set up the loading od the aicraft and performance calculation, but since I switched to FSX I am never able to send the payload info to the aicraft and I get a message saying "IPC request contains bad data" Is there anybody here who can point my nose in the right direction…

Last week I got a new processor and as funds are quite linmited I put it in a mobo I knew was a little tempermental. It only started that way after a thunderstorm and a power outage, then a week later the PSU blew. Anyway, I fitted the CPU and that works brilliantly but the mobo is buzzing loudly and will not hold the settings. So I ordered a new one thats due here next Wednesday as I couldn`t find one locally to accept the DDR2 I have, only DDR3 and cannot afford to replace that too. When I wiped the drive whilst fitting the CPU I for a change, due to one reason and another, decided to put the OS on a 160 gig SATA drive and FSX on the D Drive with my PMDG and other ai…

Greetings all,After years of controlling aircraft using the numbers keys, I'm finally close to buying a yoke/throttles/rudder set. Most likely it will be the Saitek Pro Flight versions. The throttle seems to have 3 levers. How does this relate to sim flying, ie 2 engine planes, vs 3 and 4? Is it necessary to buy a 2nd throttle for a 4 engine plane? Also, can any of those levers be used for something other than throttle control, eg: flaps? Any tips on this, or any related items (yokes/rudders, etc) would be appreciated.

Hello Ryan, PMDG & simmers, I thought I would start a different thread here rather than it getting lost in the repaint requests thread Ryan posted/pinned for the NGX. I am pleased to hear there is going to be an installer that will simplify the addition of repaints from the community,but I had some questions/comments about it. :( Will the Livery Manager take care of both FSX and FS9 aircraft or is this just FSX only? Ryan mentions it is going to be made compatible with all product lines. Is this utlity free or does it come with the NGX package -I'm not exactly sure what the roll-out plan is? I have been away from Flight Sim for over a year to both pf my parents passing away, and my wife in failing health. I have finally had a chance to get back into flight sim'n after a period and was welcomed with a (Account Locked) message when I tried to re-download my purchases. I would greatly appreciate access to my paid for purchases so that I might be able to enjoy a little off time doing my flight simming. I certainly hope, after all of the positive publicity PMDG had recieved over the years, that this would not be an issue.
