However since this time i have been trying different things to see if i could find the trigger and i just found it.To recap, my problem is this. Can some one be kind enough to explain how reverse thrust levers works on a aircraft such as a Boeing. Plus two questions:1. Does it matter how far u pull back the reverse thrust levers to affect the amount of thrust produced?2. If the reverse thrust levers are engaged can the main thrust levers move forward?

Can someone assist me with the reason for frames going from 30fps to 5fps in FSX whenever I run FTX (Orbx) scenery and ASE with the PMDG 747. I have REX as my weather textures and engine. I have issues with PMDG products due to wind shifting. I would like to purchase ASE. Will that alone be enough to take care of the wind shifting or do I really need FSUIPC?

Wondering if the NGX software has been tested to work with Precision Flight Controls yoke and throttle quadrant?

Hi,I think many of you out there know how frustrating the (in)famous "g3d.dll" error can be. I'm still suffering from this error regularly especially with the MD11 over FTX-territory. Neither turning down the autogen, reducing Ai-traffic nor updating my nvidia drivers could solve fsx crashing after around 20 minutes in these areas (mostly PNW, but sometimes even near YSTW). It only happens with the (amazing) complex PMDG-aircraft, however not with "other" complex planes like the A2A B17 (accusim) or the FSlabs Concorde. I know that this is a very difficult error to trace and appears to apply only to some (even though quite a few) system configurations. Since I will spend …

I was munching on Marmalade and toast, and sipping on Darjeeling, when Ground called to tell us that we could expect the spill would be mopped up and taxiways clear in the next 10 minutes. How do you save a created route within the FMC on 700-400. I haven't been able to find in manual. Don't want to be entering all the waypoints for a particular flight every time I fly this route.

I know this isn't the right forum but no one is on the 747-400 one. I have Win 7 Professional. I am trying to install the PMDG 747-400. I extracted the files and when I run the setup I get a message saying, "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid FSX installation location" I only have FSX not FS9. This is REALLY getting on my nerves. I just spent $55 on this addon and I want to use it. Thanks in advance...

Hi, I dont know how relevent this is but I did an Uninstall reinstall of FSX as per PMDG recommendations. All my airports, scenery, etc., are in place except my PMDG aircraft. There was a sequence of installation for FS9 and I wondered if the same applies for FSX as I am prepared to leave my addon aircraft out until the release of the 737NGX, even if this takes some time or can I still reinstall the others irrespective of the 737NGX.. Hi folks at PMDG,some days ago Ryan posted a topic called "A special 4th of July livery preview" here in the PMDG forums featuring the NGX in a flyby at Mt. Rushmore. I have posted some things in it and wanted to see what´s giong on in it. But can´t find it anymore. Got it deleted after drifting soulthwards? For the purpose of this topic I'm not considering any release AnyhowI'm slowly moving up to more complex addons and I'm now looking at something from PMDG, The MD11 looks stunning as does the NGX so my question is. Are the differences in the NGX significant enough to warrant waiting. Hi.I recently made a fresh install of FSX and just installed PMDG 747-400 again. I have never had this problem before and the airplane works as it should, however there's some missing animations as you can see which includes flaps (surfaces), slats, spoilers, outer ailerons, and nosegear turning when taxiing. What still works: Inner ailerons, gear retraction/extension, reversers, rudder, elevator etc.I own the CD version, and I tried to reinstall the Queen again, but same problem on pax and freighter.
