I recently purchased the J41 extended download service, but I have never received the activation email, and when I go into my purchases, I am told the dl has expired. As I cannot activate I cannot get through to the rest of your Support structure. The order number is:158413 I apologise for coming this way, but I cannot make it through your preferred route. Hi all.As a mostly FS9 flyer, this post (thankfully to some lol) will not mention the NGX other than just now.I was coming home from work this evening and remembered some real life flights into Heathrow over tha last year.As many of you know, a lot of traffic heading into LHR end's up in hold's until their slot is available to land.I well remember 1 particular flight where we were holding for over 30 mins, and on what seemed like every second hold patern we dropped altitude to the next lower level.My question is, can the 737 (old version), 744 and MD-11 account for this in a holding pattern?ie; I am at 8000ft in my first hold, I am instructed to stay in the hold pattern b…

Hey I saw the HDR mod on the AOA NGX video today so I went and found it downloaded it and installed it in FSX where they said to but it doesn't work. Does anyone else here have any experience with it? It looks like a must have before release day.Hiram Hunt

See most or many of you guys run with two hard drives, one dedicated to the operating system and the other FSX. Just returned from a friends place who has an IT business. The subject of my planned new system came up and the installation of two hard drives. He could not understand why you would have the FSX alone on its own drive, it should be on the same drive as the OS if you are after performance.What he suggested was not to dump your old system, (mine is intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz (2 CPU's) with Win XP Home (32)) but network it with the new i5 2500K, Win7 Ultimate and use the old system for the usual every say applications, MS Office, emails etc. Dedicate the…

Hi guys, i know this is a little off topic but if this option is out there i want to use it for the NGX and there seems to be a lot of great minds in this fourm. In the good old FS9 days the external view camera would stay in one place as your plane turns and in fsx the camera always follows as the plane turns. I can't find for the life of me where this option is in FSX to switch the camera back to a locked position. Hope this makes sense.-Travis

In preparation of the release, I've been given permission to build a computer and will be ordering parts tonight. I'm ordering the i7 2600k sandybridge with the Asus P8Z68 mobo and the GTX570.My question is this....how in the world do I start overclocking this processor and where should I stop at? I've read some places that its a simple as a couple clicks in the mobo software and other places its gonna be a walk through the bios. If anyone can give me a idea on where/how to do all this I would much appreciate it. I am hoping to get 4ghz out of this but then I've seen others get 4.5. Any help would be grateful!

the way I read the description on the ext download service is that I have 1 year after I buy it. I purchased one for the queen on 10Jul2011 and the installer will not verify the install! I really don't see anyplace about the number of verifications! Is there a number limit and if so why not on the website which states:Extended Download Service for the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies. This service entitles you to 1 year of re-download service for this product only. This purchase record will be added to your account at PMDG, thus letting us know you have purchased Extended Download Service! Easy! No record keeping required on your part! :(

I just wanted to let everyone know of a tragic death up here in Washington State over the weekend. Google employee and former Microsoft software engineer Steve Lacey was killed by a drunk driver while sitting at an intersection in his car in Kirkland, Washington. Mr Lacey worked for Microsoft for 11 years and led the teams that developed the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. The man that lost control of his car and hit Steve was 4 times the legal limit for B.A.C.If it wasnt for Mr Lacey and the teams he led we would not have this awesome software that so many of us love and are addicted to. Hello all;I'm so impressed by the AoA review video that reflects a very smooth movement around the cockpit and some times moving the body side ways with out loosing the vision focus point (like monitoring HUD while moving the head away), any body knows what camera program was used? and how to set it up to have a very smooth movement?thanks.

Hello PMDGThe news which about 737 NGX signed at“Sunday July 25, 2011”hum.....July 25 should be Monday isn't it?（I will leave Beijing to New Zealand at July 28.....New Zealand has very strictly limit at ADSL flow...max 30G per month...NGX will costs alots of flow huh ha....but I believe that is totally worth.) I ordered the extended downloads for the MD11, the 747-400X and the -400F. I got the MD11, not problem with that. But I was sent the link for the FS9 version of the 744, and I have requested three times now to get the correct links with absolutely no responses to my tickets. What am I supposed to do to get anyone's attention to complete the order I PAYED for?!!

Hi All,I have already seen some great advice on new hardware to buy to enable the best possible expierence for fsx and based on that i have already made up my mind on most of the hardware to be bought but i am struggling with one item for which i hope you all experienced simmers can give me some advice on.I will be getting myself a SB (i2500K) with P67 Motherboard, 8 Gb Ram, H100 processer cooling (for max overclock) W7 ultimate, 2 x SSD (one for OS and one for FSx) and i feel comfortable with that part of the rig.I will be using the rig to mainly play FSx with Airhauler (and later on online flying through IVAO or vatsim) but i also like to play sometimes first person sho…
