Hi guysJust wondering about something with regard to how different weight loadings appear in the NGX. For example, if the NGX is loaded with just 30% fuel and zero passengers and zero cargo, will the gear suspension not compress very much and therefore show the aircraft sitting higher from the ground than when the NGX is loaded to its maximum takeoff weight (nearly full fuel, pax, cargo) where the suspension would be compressed more by the weight and show the aircraft sitting lower to the ground? Not a big thing with me, just a curious thing I thought of given that you guys have gone to some extreme lengths in your efforts to make the NGX as realistic as possible. I do kn…

Hello friends in Flight Sim,I'm wondering why all the sim developers would let the main landing gear exposed after retract? It happened with all other boeing 737 from feelthere or ifly 737NGX. And now the great PMDG is doing the same thing to the soon to be released 737NGX. When I look @ its belly. I can clearly see the main landing gear exposes. I mean it would take off the realism out of flying the bird knowing the real boeing 737 has the main lang gear cover after retracted. Why?

Considering FSX ATC is heavily bugged and it does not consider neither SID nor STARS etc.. are you going to kill it while using NGX or anyone of you have perhaps found a way to talk with it without having a nerve attack ?Thx

Take a look at the ND, someone. I'm going perfectly straight and level, and although it looks like it's trying to intercept the track, and then make a left bank to align, that's not the case. It maintains this attitude, never passes the track, makes every turn there is at every waypoint, and I did an autoland, and it placed me to the left of the runway, on the grass, way off the runway. I've flown this before, and everything was perfect with the plane going perfectly aligned with the track. I've flown it over and over, doing either an autoland or a non-precision approach, and each time, everything's been perfect until recently. I noticed this first after doing the Magneti…

Hi guys !This morning I had a very original conversation with a Slovakian friend (Im' French). We are both student and we were attending the helicopter course when, suddenly, between two performances exercices, we started to talk about the B737NGX (see how pmdg gather men ).The debate was the following : On the Slovakian side, it is said that 80-90% of the work for such add-ons is design (ie modelling)On the other side, the value are 50% of modelisation, 35% systems and the rest for tests. So, what do you think ? And if PMDG can answer directly to the question taking the NGX or other addons as example would be great ;)Thanks !Ben.

New pics of the long awaited PMDG Woodpigeon have just been released, believed to be taken just before the aircraft entered the crucial slightly a bit more than narrow Beta phase of it's development The first shows the user-configurable vertical observation window which some operators order..This one clearly shows the operator specific pointy hat feature...And finally, and very much demanded, the full Autopilot Mode in action, no pilot required to operate this incredible machine..We know you're going to become addicted to this groundbreaking aircraft :(

  11. HI all, I'm trying to model this aircraft: Tecnam P2006T . I wonder how many of you would like an aircraft like that in fsx? Or do you have something similar to propose me. Thanks for your replies.

  14. Gents,I've spent almost all of my flightsim time in the flight levels, and while I enjoy this immensely, I'm aware that there is a large body of general aviation add-on developers out there producing good work. I have tried exactly none of these, and know little to nothing about what's hot and what's not. (I'm the first to admit that's a disgrace, by the way!)So, here's the question: If you could pick one GA aircraft and Scenery combo that really captured all the joys of GA flying in FSX, what would they be, and why? Payware, freeware, I don't mind. I really see myself as more of an airliner guy, but I'd like a little "weekend getaway" sort of environment where I could tr…

Hi All,Im just watching the Just Planes - WestJet 737-600 dvd! Its great!!They were flying into Kelowna and planned to do an RNP Approach into Rwy 34, but unfortunately had to switch runways. I was just wondering if anyone knows where it is possible to see some RNP charts.... Or are these only avaliable from the airlines? I wouldn't mind learning alot more about this and I really hope there is an RNP Tutorial when the 737NGX Comes out! :DThanks and I hope you guys can help!Regards,Tristan

Im wondering if there will be any conflicts with those lights and certain addon scenery airports, I fly allot up here in Canada and use scenery provided by simaddons a small but dedicated developer making Canadian airports.

  17. As the title of this topic suggests, I am interested in freeware scenery that is up to (or close to) the quality of payware scenery for FSX. I now finally have a PC capable of getting decent performance with FSX and am slowly but surely populating the scenery with something other than the default, which is severely lacking in any number of areas. As I am not rich, I am trying to find good-quality freeware scenery (think ISD in FS9). If some of you could provide links or file names and websites, I'd be most grateful (and I'm sure I'm not the only one)!

Hello.Just thought I'd share for those who are interested the pictures I took at Le Bourget on Friday. I've no big camera so they are probably not the best but I'm sure other might had their own links if they were at the show.I can also tell that unfortunately there is no 787, nor 747-8i, I was really disappointed that it seems Boeing just took back it's plane after the Private Professional show, so they were a big gap in the static air craft, and as such all I got was a bit of it's part. It's really sad that there commercial aircraft were not represented at all, except for the Museum owned 747 which is there all the year. Well hopefully I'd say the A380 was there and was…

  21. Hello PMDG-Team!As far as I know some (or all?) members of PMDG do not live in the nearer neighbourhood. So i am wondering how you communicate and handle the business meetings. Therefore I (or we) would like to know:- How far you live away from each other?- How you communicate usually? Traditional via Skype, Mail etc.?- How often do the PMDG members meet personally?- Does the huge (is it huge?) distance effect the working speed?

Hello,Can anyone confirm if the NGX will allow setup of controls via the standard FSX menu (like the other PMDG aircraft) and that we won't have to go through Fsuipc (which does not offer the same smoothness for some controls like pan view...)Thank you

  24. I was just wondering that will the time between the beacon flashes and the strobes in PMDG 737 NGX is fixed or just random just like most of the FS aircraft. As I found the in any BOEING aircraft the "beacon flashes once and the strobe also flashes once with a fixed intervals".....unlike in any AIRBUS aircraft where "beacon flashes once and the strobe flashes twice with a fixed intervals" Does the Beacons and the Strobes on the PMDG 737 NGX are same as these video:- 1) 2) http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Ez23Zd33RIU3) Also AIRBUS A380 video takeoff at night....notice the Beacons and Strobes Sameer R Mankame
