Ok the new 737/800-900 models are GREAT!!!!!!!!. i inly have one prob. i dont know whow to fly using the FMC. I also like flying using FSNAV. Is there a way to disable the FMC so that i can fly have full use of the AP with using the FMC. including V-speed ??? Please help thanks you.

Hi All Pilots...and PMDG STaff...Now this is a problem I had with the 700 and basciley all payware and is getting really irritating now... Each time I press they key 1 or 2 accidentley on my keyboard only my number 1 or 2 engine is selected. I cant press E + 1 + 2...it doesnt work... It do work with default or freeware stuff, but not with the PMDG. How can I get my quadrandt locked back to both engines without rechoosing the whole thing?If anyone can help,Thanx!Koosie, South Africa:-zhelp

Hi All...what a great package!!!!!!!! I do have a minor question that's been nagging me since I got the 600-700 back in Jan. On the overhead panel under the seatbealt toggle there is a button called GRD CALL..when pushed it gives the MS sound of grating metal like PIC 767 would do if you forgot that ground power was still connected at pushback. What if anything is this supposed to be? I had initially thought it might be a way to communicate with ground crews other than IC or hand signals.Thanks in advance, Paul M

Hello all. The only thing I found wrong is a very tiny cosmetic thing in VC panel. Just above where is says "MAIN PANEL DU's" which is just above the PFD display, there are two tiny holes in the panel which are right above the word PANEL actually. You probably would not notice it except it is right in ones line of sight. During the day is when it is noticeable. Thanks for any consideration in touching this up.

hi guys first of all thanks for all of your help i have 3 download links in my hot mail but all of them come up with that stupid user name and password with the vc cockpit picture under i given up to the fact that i lost money and will not get this wonderfull update to the 600/700"s so i have one last request my new email address is [email protected] now this is another computer with broadband so once it is downloaded i will copy it on to a cd and transver over to my computer that way i will have a copy of it if my computer dies and will it work if i do it this way and once again thanks to everyone out there who gave me help confirmation-2604200405303960

Hi to everybody and thank you for this wonderful product!! :-jumpy I have a problem with the Lower EICAS: the screen in black. I'm NOT using the Side-by-Side EICAS. Reading the introduction manual I found the following lines: "Important Note: The lower display unit will only display data if you have selected either ENG or SYS from the lower DU selector panel located on the main panel". That makes me think that the Lower DU selector located on the mai panel should be working, but it's not clikkable.Any advice?Thanks a lot! :-wave

RE: PMDG 737NG 600/700Can someone please help me!!!I purchased this product not too long ago and I've been having problems the with Landing and Taxi Lights as well as the Nav Aids. Landing and Taxi Lights shut down after I begin to taxi to runway while everything else works fine. I normally start cold and dark and go through the whole start up checklist where I also initialize FMC. Since I do like using FS9's ATC, I enter into the FMC the High Altitude routes FS9 spits out and don't use SID and STARS. I'm not sure if the ATC is causing the problem. Also, about 30-40 minutes into the flight my Nav Aid Radios shut down. So do the Comm radios. All radios freeze up and so doe…

I think this may have been reported previously - so forgive my redundancy, but the extinguishers in the 800/900 appear to be inoperative. Previous versions would discharge the bottles and shut down the engine. The annunciators light up, but nothing happens to the affected engine. Shouldn't the extinguishers cutoff fuel to the engine?Jason Barlow

During the beta stage, many of your screenshots were of the "unpainted" 8/900 and I was wondering if the wonderful people at PMDG are going to release that to the general public."real world" flying out of Boeing Field in Seattle, I see as many of those beauties as cessnas and would sure like to get my hands on that repaint, or lack there of in this caseTravis

The hydraulic cutoffs on the overhead panel for the control surfaces, do not appear to function. Low Pressure is indicated when one or both switch covers are up, but seemingly has no effect on or off. Was this feature actually modelled or are these placebo switches?Jason Barlow

HiI'm just getting to grips with the 800/900 having flown the 700 for about 8 months now.However, i've encountered a problem attempting a start after loading up PMDG's cold and dark flight.When i attempt to open the apu bleed after an apu start, i get no pressure rising in the left duct - the needle remains stationary. I must stress that i'm pretty familiar with the 700 starting procedure but have noticed that the 800/900 now has two recirc fans. I've looked through all of the documentation pdf's but don't seem to be able to find a step-by-step starting procedure for the 800/900. Some questions on this subject:I get an FMC alert that the Vref Approach speeds have not been entered. Is this entered thru the FMC...and if so, what page? If I leave the Speed Select switch set to AUTO- does this accomplish setting Vref for approach?If I set the Speed Select Switch to Vref...what do I need to do to enter the value...enter it in the MCP airspeed window?And-assuming a way IS found to enter Vref...does it appear on the PFD airspeed tape like it does for takeoff speeds?I looked thru the mnaual and could not find specific references to answer these questions.While I wait for answers I guess I should go and download the 800!Thanks everyone,Roger Curtiss

Hi,i want to add the Pushback Gauge I've already had in the earlier version (-600/-700) in the new -800/-900. But I dont know how and where to place it. I had it in the down right corner of the radio panel. But now there are some other gauges.

My B1900D has just developed a throttle problem. Since installation it has been operating properly. Just today I went on a flight. I was about 10 min. into the flight on autopilot when the engines just cut back to an idle setting. When I tried to advance the throttle it would come back to idle. The same thing happened sitting on the runway when attempting to take off. It will not stay in full throttle but snaps back to idle.Any suggestions for a fix?Thanks,Bob Anderson

Manual indicates the CI is variable from 1-1000, my CDU appears only to accept 1-99.which is supposed to be correct?I believe entering a new departure airport in the CDU, post flight, on the ground should clear the entire route plan. However my CDU will display an error.how does one clear a FMS flight plan in this case?if these answers are in the manual and were overlooked, I apologize. If you know manual reference, I would be happy to look up the answers.

Guys,I've tried the following:-Updating My Video Drivers-Deleted all flightplans and flights created with PMDG-Deleting FS9.cfg (which makes fs2004 crash before I even get to the main screen)-Reinstalling the 600-900 completelyNONE OF THIS HAS WORKED!I have no problem loading the the 600-900 whatsoever. I don't have it as my default aircraft when loading. I can load it up, be sitting on the runway then poof fs quits. Not crashes just quits straight to the desktop. Sometimes it happens when i'm in flight at 200ft or once at 3000ft. Sometimes it happens when I bank. One time i even got 75% of the way through flying the pattern when it just quit. Hello everyone, I am having a tough time here because the FMC keeps telling me that every single piece of info that I try to input is NOT IN THE DATABASE, I have already re-installed the package several times and nothing seems to happen, if anyone has an idea please let me know, because this comes on top the fact that the FS crashes 9 out 10 times every time I try to fly the 737-800-900 and it is really getting annoying by now, thanks a lot for your time and cooperation, regards,Jacobo D.
