Hi all,I think the spoiler issue and the double bounces during landing with the -800 / -900 series are related.When you touchdown (during Autoland) and the spoilers do NOT extend, there is still LIFT and the aircraft wants to get airborne again. But right after touch down you disconnect the A/P and you pitch down to lower the nose wheel ... second "landing"...as a result. So I think the Spoilers / Speed brakes is the problem here.Although armed, they do not deploy. Strange thing is: when you arm them (not with keyboard = not working) the light "Armed" illuminates. Hi, folks-I think that by any reasonable measurement, the 738-9 is the most outstanding complex commercial airliner that has ever been created for Flight Simulator. Being able to fly almost entirely in VC has revolutionized my flight experience!I have run into one problem. I use advdisp.dll with Radar Contact to display messages on a second monitor. Both monitors are driven by a Ti5900 w/ 128 MB of VRAM. I find that when I turn the landing lights on (in VC or 2d panel) advdisp stops displaying any text, or the text flickers considerably. When I turn the landing lights off, text is displayed normally. This doesn't happen with any other lighting system and didn't happ…

Can anyone help?My landing lights and taxi lights switch off at night, even though the light swithches are obviously in the appropriate position.I think it may have something to do with Al traffic being to close to my plane when I taxi near other traffic, hence lights automatically switch off, but never come back on again after the aircraft has disappeared. Anyone else experienced this?Graeme

I saw in a post where Randy mentioned that his install of the original 600/700 was with one file that was version 1.3. Could some of these problems be occuring due to the fact that we have to install a patch to 1.2 to get it to 1.3? Everything should be the same but have any of you Beta guys tried out the NG with that installation setup? If you guys can't replicate them maybe that is why. Just a thought and hopefully something that may cause a break through.

Does anyone know how to establish ACARS communication?I've tried looking through the manuals, but have found no reference to ACARS? If anyone else has any details on how to operate the ACARS please could you tell me.CheersGraeme

Just downloaded the new 737-800/900 and thought, why not, might as well try the B1900 as well. Downloaded both and both installed sucessflully.With the 1900 however, the "Display Radio Stack" hotspot button does not function. If I open the views menu, then the radio stack opens, but I cannot open the radio stack from the panel.I couldn't find any applicable threads in the forum. Can anyone help me out with this one??Thanks Dave Willson

Hi Guys,Sorry for the double post on this issue, but I was also wondering how do I reset the FMC after I have landed at my destination (proper procedure). I want to keep the power running and do not want to start from a cold and dark startup, if possible. What I want to do is land at the airport, then taxi to the gate, keep lights on and APU running while letting the passengers off and refueling, and then reset the FMC to the new route. Good evening all, I have Version 2.123 of AdvDisplay In conjunction with Radar contact 3.1. Is anyone else out there having flashing or no text when selecting landing lights on the new 800-900?

For some reason I keep getting VNAV disconnect when descending with the 800 or 900. My speed is right on target, the glidepath is fine, MCP Alt is below next constraint, forecast winds are correct, yet this has happened over and over, usually just as I pass over a waypoint. With the many questions, comments etc about this that and the other thing I thought I would share what it's all about. When i fly at 200 knots without flaps i can't maintain 5 degress of pitch. Any advices to reach this??RegardsAlfredo

I tried downloading the SID/Star....but when I went into the PMDg 737-700 there was no sids/stars at the airports....how do I add them??...all so how do I know which SID/STAR to use when departing and arrivingThank you

In order to get the most out of my purchase of the 737 what do I need as far as charts go? How about plates? I hear everyone talking about switching the setting to Internal in the styles menu but I for some reason do not have that option. I am using registered FSUIPC and when I go to the style menu it only gives me the option of FSUIPC and the FS2004 Internal is shaded out. Any one have any ideas?
