    Hi out there,this is my first post so apologies if it has been covered already.As the 800/900 has now been released, and as good as it looks and sounds. I was wandering if the designers might shed any light on whether there would be an update for the original 600/700 version to bring it inline with the 800/900 ? ie make the 2 switches above the Nav display work, and possibly add TCAS or improve frame rates.I love my 737-600 and refuse to fly anything else, and was just curious as I can't really afford to buy the new model.

    If your not configured properly for takeoff the beeping will occur.Make sure your flaps etc. are properly set. If your using C&H yoke & pedals be reninded that flaps go 1, 5, 10 degrees etc. You have to flip the switch 3 times to get to 10 degree for example. Usually if you set flaps 5 your good to go. Bring N1 to about 40% hit the T/GA screw (upper left screw on the MCP panel, let off of the brakes.Set your autobrakes to RTO.Regards

    Need some help, still suffering from poor fram rates (2-8FPS at times). I have a Pentium 4 2.66 Ghz processor, 2Gig ram, Radeon 9600 video card. My settings in the flight sim are set to minimum, or medium. I tried deleting the config file, but to no result. I am not sure if I have something set wrong somewhere, and have tried a lot of different ideas. This is not limited to PMDG aircraft, all aircraft. Any help would be really great.     I notice something new with the 737-800 and 900.When starting up the aircraft, the flaps somehow become fully extended, without me manually extending them. I then have to retract them to normal takeoff setting.-Is this normal?-What am I doing that is causing this "automatic extension".Thanks for any insight

    I was telling a friend about the PMDG NG, and he told me he had a real boeing CBT program that he would give me. I was hesitant, as his father is an airline pilot, but I don't why he would give away his father's things. Anyway, he gave it to me, and I have to say it's the best "tutorial" I've ever seen. It has fifty or sixty interactive lessons on everything from pneumatics to the FMC. I've been learning alot. Does anyone know where you can buy these? I'd like to get one on the 747-400 to help me fly PS1. I should have the 737NG mastered after I finish this one.

    I've just noticed that there are a number of runways missing from CYYZ. Also missing are the STAR's. They were all there before I installed the 800/900.     HiI am quite proficient when it comes to lying aircraft with FMC. I have PSS Airbus. The problem I have is with the PMDG Boeing series. Sometimes after setting up a flight with the fmc I am lined up on the runway just after call for 80knts I suddenly get the message Engine Failure and my engines turn off. I have not even begun to rotate the aircraft for takeoff so a tail strike is not the answer to this. Can you tell me what may be causing this problem?Ooops I see now other people having this prob. Will post in other post.

    I start FS9 with the 'create a flight' dialog. When I select a PMDG 737 (I've got the NG -6-700 v1.2 installed, updated to 1.3, then installed the -8-900) I get the window where navigation data is processed/loaded. After that process is complete, this is what I'm left with:http://cobweb.dartmouth.edu/~gridlock/PMDG-Glitch.jpgWhen I hover the mouse over the various buttons, they reappear, so I've been able to work around the problem.     Anyone familiar with this approach? I've flown it a couple of dozen times now with varying degrees of success... for some reason I find it easier with the larger 800 and 900 models than the 600 and 700. I haven't actually crashed yet but I have had a few hairy moments when I've rolled out onto short finals and found myself somewhat lower than I expected to be!When flown in the real world at what stage would the aircraft be put into full landing configuration? Whilst still inbound to the SI NDB? Or perhaps after SI whilst tracking 130?     Does the PMDG NG require a CAT II or CAT III ILS for reliable Autoland? With CAT I I have had several instances of the A/P suddenly disengaging while on final approach after setting up for autoland and apparently successfully capturing the localizer and glideslope. After the installation of the 800/900 I could fly for some time, but when starting FS9 again the next day, the program simply crashed to the desktop without the usual Windows XP Message. To avoid some unnecessary "try-an-error" playing I uninstalled the aircraft and the entire FS9 and started from scratch: loaded FS9,then as the only add-on, PMDG 737 ver. 1.2, upgraded it to ver. 1.3 and finally installed the 800/900.     Hi,I'm encountering a strange problem with the 800/900 installation and I hope someone can be of assistance.After installing the new aircraft and firing up FS9, before the sim can actually start I'm bumped back to the desktop. No warning, nothing.I uninstalled the original NG (1.3 build) using the removal tool but had to manually trash the 800/900 files from the FS9 Aircraft folder.Reinstalled the original NG.     HiI've downloaded you new GREAT 737-800/900I love flying with 600 but I have seen that 800/900 version upgrade 600 too... I love new sounds...(trim sound overall)In 737 alarm panel, fire warning and master caution are irregular in their shape and illumination and they are impossible to read...On overhead panel all the lights are not clear as in 737 600/700 version and it's a bit difficult to read....is it a problem of my Pc only?Thank you for your GREAT work !!!!!Luca

    Hi PMDG Team.Now my addon is working perfect. But during engine starts, takeoff etc. The engine sound is low. In the sounds option in fs9 the engine is set to the highest. I have sitten in the cockpit for real many times. And I wish the sound for the pmdg 737 could be more roaring.Like you almost could feel the power of the engines. Is their any way I could change the sound config to do this? Also the aircond sound totally drowns the engine sound.Staale Moum

    A quick question: What would a correctly operating electrical system display (in terms of volts and amps) on the overhead panel? Both for the battery (fully charged) and the APU and engine generators. I hope this question makes sense!The reason I ask is that I have had the radio/NAV freeze problem and it seems that the consensus is that it is battery drain that could be a factor.     Hi,I have a little problem with the PMDG 737 800/900. I always get an single of a multiple engine failure during takeoff, sometimes before V1, sometimes after. It is not always the same engine it changes randomly between left and right engine. Ive cleared al the failures in the PMDG failure menu and also cleared al the failures in the flight simulator failure menu. But that doens't seem to help...Does anyone know how I can solve this ?
