Gents - Due to a minor error in the schematics at the PMDG factory there is a possibility that the battery will discharge even if EDGs (Engine Driven Generators) are online. Making the battery discharge and consequently various systems will cease to operate as the voltage drops. This has been confirmed on the -800 VC and VCCAB, and the -900 VC and VCCAB.For those with registered FSUIPC there is an easy work-around in checking the Extend Battery checkbox on the Technical tab and setting the value to 0 (indefinite battery life). Hi people,I think this would be the best place to enlist all the bugs found while flying with the 800/900.What I have noticed so far is : 1.Failures - When i set an engine fire to occur,it happens.Till that its working ok.But when we fire extinguishers are used the engine is supposed to shut down automatically in the NGs.This does not happen here though.I'm sure of this but here it goes.When i take off with the brakes set to RTO,after takeoff is it supposed to trip back into OFF position or do we have to turn it off,in the after takeoff checklist manually.-Navneet-|www.precisionmanuals.com|-http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Hi guysI know you may have more pressing problems, but I thought that this is worth mentioning.On loading a flightplan from EGLL - LFPG the FMC gave the error 'BUREX not in database'. I checked the flightplan, and BUREX is not used, so I ignored it.I selected my DEPARTURE runway and SID for EGLL, then went to pre-select my expected arrival runway at LFPG. I clicked the LFPG ARRIVALS page, and it was totally blank. No Runways, STARs or Transitions.So I loaded the LFPG SID/STAR plate into a text editor (plate attached to this message) and found that 2 STARs use this BUREX ISEC as part of the procedures for this airport (TINIL3E & TINIL3W).So the ISEC BUREX is missing fr…

Hi GuysCAn anyone confirm whether something can be done to extremely WHITE lights that is still evedent when the landing lights are on whislt on the ground.....seems like a white triange infront of your plane and doesn't seem very realistic at all. Flying in to KMHT on a single-channel ILS approach, I noticed the LOC and GS scales blinking in yellow for a second, then going back to white.Can't find any reference to this behavior in the PMDG manual, and the closest I can find is in Bulfer, who states that a two second self-test is performed at 1500 RA ONLY IF DOING AN AUTOLAND.Since I only had one CMD button engaged, I wasn't expecting this.So, either a minor nit to pick, or something else was going on, and I'd like a clue what it was.

I've been trying to make the tcas work on vatsim..but no results...I checked the fsuipc option and I have a fully registered fsuipc but i can't see them..also made sure to have the transponder activewhat can i do????help please

Hi PMDG,since I considered too unrealistic and too loud the trim sound, as adviced in the forum, I removed the corresponing objects. As a result, now FS9 hangs everytime I try to adjust the trim. Replacing the three object, the problem disappears. Is an unregesterd version of fscuip enough for functioning of TCAS?Especially when on-line flying?And do I have to have the transponder to be in the TA/RA position?I cannot find any information about TCAS in the manual. 1/ OAT temperature on the FMC: with parameters in Kgs, the entry of the field temperature in the FMC gives an "INVALID ENTRY"2/ the engines seem to stay in Reverse after start up, and setting back the FD to stop and ON again solves the problemHas anybody an idea? it is true that i have a lot of difficulties to set up my throttle for this plane... Ever since I downloaded the 800/900 I can only change my Alt./VS on other aircraft in increments of 1000 (at least I think FSUIPC is what is causing it).Can I remove the FSUIPC stuff or does the PMDG aircraft require it? I have my settings at FS2004 internal if that helps at all.Thx for any and all help.

Hi Everybody,First of all, I have to congratulate the Designers Team and also all the Beta Testers for the great job they did in releasing these two new birds.Now, I would like to know when Flying on the IVAO Network(SquawkBox also involved)and when the XPDR has been set to the TA/RA position, if the TCAS has the capability to detect the other birds flying on the network in the vincinity of my bird.Today I was flying on the network with the wonderful 737-800, have had several TCAS alerts from the Squawkbox, but nothing from the 737-800 TCAS ??? At night, I have all lights on, with the 737-800 Continental Livery. The right side of the aircraft is fine, the leftside is in Daytime Textures. Anyone else having a problem with it?Looks really weird, seeing the AC in 2 Face Mode. Half dark, half in the daytime.
