Future Airline Pilot Future Airline PilotHey guys and girls,Can someone help me with the non pmdg paints. I figured out that you have to copy and paste the texure.someting file into the PMDG texture file. And it works, but as soon as i try to change that file back to a texture.something file it dissapears. So does this mean i can only have one repaint? Please reply. Thanks.Scott

Hi, I'm having problems with the 737NG, I get a static noise in my speakers when using the 737NG. It's really loud, annoying etc., and it completely over powers the fs sound, so all i hear is static. Anyone know how I can resolve this problem, I can't really use the product with this problem. Thanks.

Hello Pilots!I have a problem when creating a SID.As you know any NDB is not recognized as a Navaid, and so you have to create a Fix with the lat-long of the NDB.But some SIDs use a radial of the NDB and no any other fix are present in this track....The problem is that the FMC does not recognize the navigation in a Fix radial..So for example:KEEP HDG INTERCEPT RADIAL 130 FROM FIX ISAdoes not work..What can i do??Thanks for your help!Neruda

Hello All,Is it possible to get a list of files and other entries that the PMDG installer (s) installs. I am trying to figure out a problem I have had since intalling the product. I noticed it after the 800/900 installation, but it could be something else. I've tried all the other suggestions listed so far on this forum for possible problems, fix's with no luck. Marv

Hello! I bought the 800/900 and took a look at the fuel burn tables. I see that there are several cells in the table that are empty, in the lower right corner of the table. In other words, there is no fuel burn data for longer flights at higher altitudes. Why is that? I thought that maybe those longer flights were simply out of the range of the aircraft, but there IS data for those longer flights at lower flight levels. Wouldn't the higher flight levels make for more efficient fuel consumption? I'm confused about this.At any rate, the missing data is going to make it tricky for me to update the fuel planner program. I'll have to have it pop up an error if those combinatio…

Hello together!Today I bought the new 737-800/900 and I'm very satisfied with it.Unfortunately I have a big problem with my Precision Flight Controls Throttle Quadrant. With Version 1.3 of the 737NG I could use the "mixture" control of the Quadrant for operating the start levers. Now the start levers are always at "idle" if I load the plane with cold & dark cockpit and I can't move them with the mixture control. That's very bad, becauese I want to use this expensive Throttle Quadrant to operate this great plane more realistic.Hope someone can help!Best regards,Martin

Before the 800/900 came out I could see the range circles by pressing the WXR button on the MCP. Now I cannot. Would anybody know why ?Also, the POS button also seems to not produce anything..Just went through the manuals and could not find any info on these two issues (or maybe I missed it). Thanks for any help.GREAT ADD-ON TEAM. SIMPLY OUTSTANDING. !!!!!!

The Autopilot and Flight director ignore the "direct fix" in an FMC departure. The correct path is displayed on the ND display but the flight director will give guidance to turn and follow the course between the last waypoint and the next. If you look at the diagram on page 3 of the "Appendix_1 How to write SID STARs.pdf" you see what I

Hello guys,I know we are all good pilots and it maybe this reason why this question has never been asked before?Should the worst happen where is the evacuation command located? It would be so cool if you ever (god forbid) had a fire or another issue, which meant you needed to evacuate the cabin, even if there are no slides, being able to active the alarm would be good!?I have done well over 630 hours on FS2004 alone and only ever had one crash, which was minor and was caused by what I think was wind shear (since then I have brought XP, so I can see what

I have been flying the 800900 for the past week and on every flight as I near the TD point appx 75-50 miles from the TD the small TD symbol starts to flicker and on the leg page of the fmc all the numbers and waypoints are flashing. This stops after passing the TD point or hitting the desend now LSK.I want to know is this the normal way this works? This has happened on every flight also when I place the Autobrake switch into RTO before takeoff it never goes into off after TO I have to manually do that and the 600700 would go into off on its own after TO.I was wondering if this is a change with the new series? Happened at the point of touchdown. Engine fail announcement, everything went dead.......rudder control, brakes, everything. Aircraft slowed down on its own.I was a short flight.......KALB to KJFK so I wasn't too annoyed with losing it. If it was a 4 hour flight however..........This engine failure bug is a real mystery.Edit: I included the attachment so that you can see that I didn't have a tailstrike. The engines failed exactly at that point at touchdown.

Just about now, was starting another test flight for the spoilers, and at about V1, a callout Engine Failure - this really appears as random, because I was starting the SAME flight every time, with same settings, same fuel and everything. And just now, as I was slowly pulling the stick (danger of tailstrike with 737-900), just as the front gear raised a bit, engines shut down and I went to the stop. And, I was unable to restart the engines after that. What's the deal here?

Hi All, Does anyone know when the updated fuel planner incorporating the 800/900 series will be be available? I have been to the www.metacraft.com/737NGFP/ site that Ross Carlton advertises, but all I get is a DNS search error. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Sam

Hey Guys-I will get an "Air Conditioning" warning light. When I look at the overhead panel I see the "Off Schedule Descent" light illuminated. My questions are:1. How do I turn the light off?2. Why does it come on in the first place? This happens when ATC brings me down lower before I have reached cruise altitude, so I presume that is the literal meaning of the warning.3. Why even have this warning as long as your settings for cruise and landing for pressurization purposes are within your operating parameters? I am running pressurization with the Auto setting. Thanks
