My wing lights don't appear to do much since the update either, for any variant.

I am running Windows 2000, Service Pack 4. I noticed that the new B1900D has a small bit of text indicating "WinXP only". Does this mean that I cannot use this download until I upgrade?

Sirs of PMDG,I have now been waiting 3 days for an e-mail'd download link for the 800/900. Having initially waited several hours I sent an e-mail to the support address, but no reply. I now find that all atempts to send a reminder to the same address are returned as undeliverable and note that the support@ address has been removed from the website.I do not wish to give my invoice number and authorisation code out in an open forum (I have given them in the above mentioned e-mail), but your records should show my purchase.How do I get what I have paid for?RegardsPaul Ground - UK

Hi everyone,I had just completed a flight in the -600 yesterday. I quit flightsim, went and had my tea and then came back to fly the return flight. I fired up flightsim, entered all my settings, hit 'Fly Now' and when it had loaded it was fine for about 3 seconds then the aircraft suddely titled left as though it was sinking into the ground on the port side. As it got to a certain point (Nearly 90 degrees) it 'bounced' up into the air and then did a nose dive back to the ground. It then kept bouncing and nose-diving. I quit the sim, reset my computer, tried, didn't work. I have tried reinstalling the plane but that hasn't worked. Do I really have to resort to reins…

I just got both 737-600/700 and 800/900 and installed.and wondering how good that weather program works with 737.and If it's fully compatible, any leads for its set up and configurations?Thanks in advance.

hi to alli'm pretty happy with my 737NG. framerates are good etc. but when i touchdown, something disturbing happens: the FS needs about 1-2 seconds to "load" or "play" the touchdown-sound. same with reverse thrust. that is very annoying, 'cause it breaks the flow of my landings. is this "problem" known? is there a way to deal with it?thanks for any coments,stu

Paul, from PMDG has been in daily contact with me, (5 days) trying to sort out my inability to download the 737-800/900. Nothing worked until I uninstalled 'Get Right'. Downloading after that went without a hitch. What I want to say is that PMDG was terrific and I would like to remind simmers that very often it is what you have on your computer that causes the problem and NOT PMDG!!FreddyG:-smile12

I have noticed several times that if I insert a new waypoint on FMC legs, appears "THEN..." indicating route discontinuity. But my problem is if I didn't resolve the FMC route discontinuity, EFIS stops to refresh (using 2D panel) and it seems that I paused FS2004, but I'm not.A walkaround that I have found without resolving th discontinuity, is to change from 2D panel, to virtual cockpit back and forth until EFIS starts to refresh normally. Another solution is to change to other 2D panel.If you happened to see a solution or perhaps I'm doing something wrong, please let me know it.Thanks in advance.Hernan.

Ok, now that the 800/900 has been released, Can you tell us if the 747-400ER variant with its extended fuel,payload and upgraded avionics is under consideration to be made available with the upcoming 747-400 series.Thanks in advanceGary

Hi there. I'm new to this forum and usually fly the 767PIC. However I fancied a go at the 737 and bought the boxed version of the 737NG, which I have to say is absoulutley excellent!However, I can't seem to work the airstairs! I have no probs opening all the doors and cargo doors, but can't fathom out what works the stairs. I've tried wing fold and tailhook etc. but with no sucess. Also on the panel, what does the I key denote. All the others work such as (F)MC and (O)verhead panel.Whilst I'm also on the rant. Does the model have a working TCAS, as I can't seem to get this going either.Other than the above it is a great product and I'm enjoying flying it!Thanks for…

With the number of breakthroughs PMDG has made recently with its panels, I felt that the 737 deserves a new touch. I've never been a big fan of jumpseat perspectives; IMO, the layout of the panels that PMDG chose for the 737 was its biggest weakness. Sure, there's the VC, but the performance hit and the low gauge refresh rates make it unacceptable for instrument flying.PMDG team: The 737 is quite simply the best we've seen so far. I mean no disrespect by doing this edit. I've tried everything I can think of but I no longer have left engine noise in cruise. I have it in reverse thrust and startup but not in normal cruise. (or idle) I have removed and re-installed but the same thing. I used to have it but the loss seems to be about the time of the update. The 1900 is the only aircraft I have this trouble with. Any ideas?? Mike B.

The 737-85K Demonstrator is proving to be a tougher nut to crack. I've not found any real clear images of the left and right sides of this livery depicting the airline tails layout, so this one might be a non-starter. Hopefully, I can finish the 990 in time for the next scheduled livery release.

it's a week that I try to solve my problem without success:half of the times I try to land in a full autoland configuration,just a little bit before touching, the autopilot disconnects and the trim starts to work (I think it tries to mantain the glideslope...).I read a post few days ago about this problem; the user said that perhaps the problem was the imported flight plan...I tried making directly the flight plan in the FMC but it did'nt solve;...naturally, the setting of all the parameters for the autoland is right when the autopilot disconnection happens....soI hope that someone could help me!thank you very much albertoPS: is not possible to to set the gear in the …

Hi,I have a observationI have observed that in the B737-600/700 but also in the B737-800/900, when I go down with V/S above from 2300 ft/m , then the speed increases also dramatically. HiI've run the Boeing FMC, but can't remember a thing about it anymore. I WOULD like to know how one imports an FS9 Flight plan to the PMDG-737 FMC. I can't find nothing in the manuals on importing, or creating and importing, whatever.Any help appreciated.Ron McLeod CYEG

I just started to look at the abnormal procedures, and therfore set myself up with some failures today. Then I noticed at the bottom of the "general" page it said "birdstrike"! Cool! Gotta try that I thought. Well nothing happened... Can someone explain what this birdstrike failure is supposed to do with the plane? (i thought enging failure, windshield crack=> depressurization, or something, but nothing happened.)Also, would it be possible to make the failures "more" random. As it it now you click the random box, and for instance 45 sec pops up, or 21 min or something. When I know when and what things ar gonna happen, it isen't very random if you ask me! I think it sh…

Hello, is it possible to install just the 800/900 without touching the 600/700 settings, or what is the best way to back up my 600/700 settings so I don't have to go through a complete reinstall if I need to after installing the 800?regards Robert

I have just done a 2,300NM flight (5 hours) with the 737-700 using the latest specs introduced by the -800 & -900 release. As soon as I reached the intended flight level I got a message in the FMC saying that there was insufficient fuel to reach the destination, however, before the TOC the fuel left estimative stated aprox 9.5K lbs *:-*. I had done the fuel calculation with the latest version (v3) and clearly stated that with MTOW I would have some 8,000lb worth of fuel on landing. At the end of the flight I had just over 7,000lb of fuel left but the FMC indicated up to landing that there was "insufficient fuel". Is there a bug in the FMC? or have I done something wro…
