Hi All!Yesterday I tried to set my V-speeds manualy using V-speed selection knob.I am able to select speed I wana change (V1 for example).PFD shows small green V1 80 near the bottom of speed tap, but I can't change this value clicking on the center (where hand is shown) of the setting knob.Am I doing anything wrong? Before upgrade to 800/900 it was possible to set Vspeeds this way.Thank you for answer.

I'm considering FSBuild as a flight planner for the PFMG-737 6/900 SERIES. I'd appreciate feedback from experienced FSBuild 2.1 users and what your rating might be of FSB with the PFMG-737 or the PSS Airbus 320 series. I've considered FSNav, but there's no Wideserver/Client support, whereas FSB will export directly. The FSB author is of the opinion that FSB concentrates particularly on the Flight PLAN and is superior to FSNav in that regard.Thanks in advance,:-walksmile Ron McLeod CYEG

In the old NG (SU2 600/700), when descending in LNAV and VNAV path, the A/T would hold the speed. So if the FMC stated 300 knots above 10,000 on the DES page, the speed would drop if needed, thus resulting in the engines spooling down. Now before, it wouldn't allow the speed to drop much below that speed and spool the engines back up if it did drop. With the 800/900 installed, the -700 (all I've really flown so far) I noticed the speed will drop 10 or 15 knots below the FMC indicated speed on path descent. Is this normal? Was the prior behavior wrong? If so, can someone explain what the speed descent option will do differently. I tried it once with SU2, but it didn…

I thought this NG was supposed to be three releases....600/700 first, 800/900 second, then the BBJ third. But I've heard almost NOTHING about the BBJ. Has that been cancelled, or put way back on the back burner until the release of the 747 (and 777...wink wink)?Sorry if I missed an earlier post about this but I can't find anything relavant with the search function.

It's been mentioned in a preovius post, but i need you tohelp out with a problem i and some others have!after takeoff pushing the VNAV, it no longer holds the flapspeeds shown on the PFD, but accelerates to 250 KIASwithout holding the speed at 5 degree flap setting, if you knowwhat i mean! When you takeoff and push VNAV on, the VNAV is supposed tohold the speed for flaps until you retract them up!Theese flap speeds are shown on the PFD just like the takeoff speeds(V1, Vr and V2) and before the 800/900 came outthis speed holding was working fine!Try finding the post by Lee Holland and read if you don't understand me here (i'm not good at explaining problems like this)

Hi, I have noticed a caution alarm indicating Air Cond, looking at the owverhead panel I see on the Cabin Pressurization Panel an amber warning (2nd left) something like "OFF SHED DESCENT" could you explain:a. What it is?B. How to clear it/avoid it?After an engine failure at V1, I have now completed Tutorial 2 by Tim Metzinger in the updated 737 700.Thanks for a great productTerry

Hey PMDG--whats up, I'm trying to get to your website to buy the 737-800/900 (just had my last AP test today--Euro was kinda tough lol--human geog wasnt bad), but i get a "cannot find server" error. I am hoping to buy it before the deadline tonight. Is there any way you could extend the deadline possibly to account for the small glitch? Thanks a ton!

Hi,After installing the 800/900 series over the earlier 600/700, I notice the 'old' 600/700 panels have also been replaced by the 800/900 panels. Is there a way to work around this, so one can use the 600/700 AND the different 800/900's?Best regards,Marchal

As my Air France repaint for the 737-700 seems to be popular and I'm going to make this repaint for the 800/900, I would like to know, how the preferences are:Should I do it 1. clean 2. medium dirty 3. really dirty (as Air France aircraft use to be:-eek )CheersThomas

Hi, I'm having problems downloading the -800/900 version. If I try using DAP, it cuts out after 612kb or something of that size. I've tried downloading without using any acceleraters, but having poor download speed and my dial-up cuts off after 3 hours, leaaving me with nothing :-( Help! this happened with 1.2

Hi,I have discovered from a previous thread that there is no spring on the autobrake knob, I have to turn it off myself, but, I clicked on the "Autobrake disarm" light and got a strange message across the screen on a green background.Ind: 1.000, C_L: 0.000, C_R: 0.000AB(A): 0, AB(E): 0, AB(D): 0SP(O): 0.000 SP: 0.000This message comes on when ever I click on the light (extinguished or lit) and the message goes off when I click on it again.Any ideas?? (apart from "Don't Click on it!!")ThanksTerry

Hi, simmers.I have posted this question in other FS9 forums but, so far, no one gave me a working answer...FS9 and many downloaded documentation tells that after you start Push Back, if you hit "1 or 2", your ship will turn left or right.I've tried all kinds of key combinations: , or and others, to no avail.I must be very stupid, so help is more needed than for someone intelligent...Thanks for any help.Sergio - BPilot

Hi.Hi purchased today the PMDG update to 800-900 series, but I hade trouble (big trouble) with download.I downloaded the zip files 2 times, but both the files where corrupted.I use a 56K connection (and not flat, I've to pay the time charge), I downloaded 2 times (and payd for it the phone company) for about 1 hour (2 hours total) for....nothing.What I've to do to enjoy my upgrade?Sorry if I'm a little bit angry, but I don't like to waste my money this way.CheersAndrea R.ITALY

Hello everybody,I've also sometimes like many others that problem of left engine failure at V1.I've red all the previous topic on that subjet, and as that problem has just arrived with the update of the 800.. I would like to share with you some point of view:As so far, for me, the problem is solved by going into the pmdg menu and in the sound folder, I've unchecked the V1,Vr callout !The problem might be with the new upgraded fmc or with fsuipc, because with that new realease of the 800/900 fsuipc as been also upgraded in the same package. Hi, all:I've lost access to speed control a number of times, especially when preparing for a hop in the PFMG-737-900 (2D Pit only). However; if I notice it's not on, I check it on early and it usually remains with me. If I've set most of the flight plan up, and the A/T is not lit, I'm not going to get any A/T speed control.Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, just wondering whether anyone else has noticed this anomoly?Ron McLeod CYEG

Hi PMDG,I am gettng problems with loading up new paint schemes on my default aircraft. I have set my default a/c to be a KLM 737-800 at EGLL, and I have customised the throttle window size and positions of the FMC and radio.I have no problems at all with this default setup, however if I select another 737-800 paint livery I lose all my custom settings.I havent noticed anyone else with this problem, so am I overlooking something?Mant thanks in advance.mcbootus at EGLL, waiting for the 5am Hong Kong flight
