    Products really look great! This is my first PMDG purchase so I thought I would take a look at the 1990D. I put my order in and got my confirmation number, etc. How long does it take to get my "Download Link" e-mail? I have do not have anything funky like a firewall or blocking on the e-mail account I used. Its only been about 30 minutes so no big deal but I was just curious.Jamie

    Hi everyone,Further to my post of last week I had hoped that setting the swap file to system control would cure the crash-to-desktop issue. Unfortunately it did not.Meanwhile I did the following: uninstalled the 737 NG, uninstalled the simulator including manual removal of all remaining files also under Documents and Settings etc. Then I defragged the volume and started the whole process anew. After this I got also the "engine fail" message, but already when loading up the 800/900. When ignoring this message one engine would then fail when approaching V1 during take off. This situation led to re-installing the NG for the third time and now I noticed that the "engine fail"…

    OK I changed nothing, worked fine last night and my first flight tonight. Suddenly today the game crashes when the loading menu gets to "adjusting scenery objects" and crashes on 68%... whats wrong! I took out my fs9.cfg file and that still didn't fix it.     Hi,The aircraft is running pretty well with me, but two things I've noticed, which I haven't seen mentioned here - 1. The clickable buttons on the FMC often don't match what appears on the screen. I have to click at precise points on the FMC buttons, otherwise an adjacent number will appear instead. Eg. clicking in the middle of the zero key will produce an eight. Same goes for numerous other keys, but only on the FMC it seems.2. Most importantly.     Hi guys,I seem to be experiencing problems with my departures when using VNAV under autopilot control. For some reason, the aircraft always seems to break though the flap retraction speeds. The auto throttle system doesnt seem to reduce the engine thrust to maintain the flap retraction speed, it just goes straight past it. So, by 3000ft, im in the full clean configuration and well on my way to 250kts. Before I installed the 800/900 package, the 600/700 seemed to hold the flap retraction speeds fine. Now however, none of them do. I have the auto throttle armed prior to departure, so I know its not because the auto throttle isnt active. I use reduced takeoff and climb thrus…

    The one thing I have in common with all my engine failures is that I changed the styles of the glass cockpit AFTER I started the engines. If I start engines and change from the "777" style to the "T-Stack" style engines will fail. Changing the reverse way will also cause engines to fail. Changing the styles before engine start does not cause the engine failure.I am careful to do everything else exactly the same way everytime.Whenever I leave the styles alone, I can takeoff with no problems.So far, I've reproduced this 8 times already, in the 700, 800 and 900.     Here's another one.E.g. You are calculating the performance with 78t T/O weight (-900)The FMC computes the take-off and landing speeds correct, but if you use e.g. T/O2 and CLMB2 the T/O speeds are about 40kts too low.E.g.     Since installing the 800-900 series, I've had 2 problems. First, the plane has twice climbed to intercept the glide slope. Is this a bug or is it more realistic and I'm doing something wrong?Second, for the second time in a row I've had a situation where after completing one leg of a flight, upon taxiing out for the next segment, I realize that my joy stick is only controlling the number 1 engine. Then, I can not figure out how to get the joystick to control both engines again...Any suggestions?sg

    I do have a very weird problem.When selecting the PMDG from the aircraft menu and loading the AIRAC database when i have selected the aircraft, the mouse jumps, slows down and hangs on my screen.     Hi Everyone!No this is not about Transition alt and level :)I have noticed on several occasions that when you first conduct a flight and enter the transition altitude (10,000) everything works fine during the flight. However after you conduct another flight without reloading the aircraft ie. have a turnaround, although the transition altitude is set at 10,000ft it desires local qnh to be set at 18000 during descent. Also, is it normal for it to show the qnh/altimiter setting below the text 'STD' when pushing 'b' higher than 18,000 but not between 10,000 and 18,000?Good luck with your next flights ;) I had to to a go around when flying online yesturday, or rather the PMDG …

    Hello guys a while ago befor the release of the 737-800/900. i posted it a request about the 737-800 for Royal Air Maroc and John spotted it and sounded like he was going to paint it for the new product, especially since he had questions about it.     I just bought the 1900 and I love it. In order to start cold & dark do I just load a flight with the plane, shut everything down, save the flight and make that the default flight?I've had several addons that wouldn't run right if an FS default plane wasn't part of the default flight.

    I am having a hard time stablilizing the ground steering on the 737-800. When I turn to the left or right it oversteers and when I turn back it oversteers in the other direction.
