  1. Dear All:I see how to use the load manager for simulating weight & loading the aircraft, but how does one take those numbers & actually get them loaded into the aircraft so it effects the handling of the aircraft? I just use it in my planning, as not to over stress the aircraft, but in reality, the plane handles no differntly because I can't control the weight distribution where the passangers actually sit in my plane once I load the sim - can I? In short, after using the load manager, I can more or less pretend to have a loaded plane with my new found numbers from the load manager, but how do I astually get the plane to BEHAVE as if the cargo & passangers …

Excuse me if this is a known issue, but I've never seen it mentionioned.After the airplane climbs to and levels off at 10,000 feet in VNAV, the commanded indicated airspeeds stays at 250kts when it should be going to the FMC SPEED that is on the CLIMB page. Would be nice to see this changed in the next update.Overall very happy with is product. Nice Job PMDG!Floyd

    Ever since installing the PMDG 800/900, whenever I load a flight using ant PMDG 737 series they all load in the cold and dark environment. How do I get them to load with engined running, ready to fly except for programing the FMC. Please reply to [email protected]

    Like a lot of others, I have been having problems with the speed brakes deploying on landing. So, I followed the suggestions on the forum -- disengage A/T, push F1 to force idle, etc. -- this has worked well.So, I'm flying along with A/T engaged and notice that my joystick throttle is still advanced -- I returned it to idle position -- no problems. Then, I think maybe I should push F1 to clear out any settings there. I push F1, the engines go from about 96 N1 to 60 N1 and the airspeed drops dramatically. With the A/T on, everything recovered in a minute or two.I was under the impression that with A/T engaged the keyboard engine controls (F1-F4) would be inactive. Is …

    I understand there are some current electrical difficulties with the -800 VC model, but I'm not sure if this is related.Please take a look at the following shot. I took this in the -800VC in a cold & dark scenario. The only thing I have done is switch battery ON and DC Meter to BAT.The voltage looks good, but shouldn't the DC ammeter read 0?Also, why is there any AC Power displayed at this point because ground power is off and APU is off?Any comments?Thanks!Jeffhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/74269.jpg

    I recently downloaded your B737-600/700 aircraft and was very impressed with it. When your 800/900 version came out I downloaded that to.Unfortunately, despite having the 600/700 already installed on my D: drive, the installer for the 800/900 only appears to be checking my C: drive and informs me that I must install the 600/700 before the 800/900 can be installed.I am using a Windows XP Home Edn OS and using your aircraft in FS2002 which is installed on my D: drive a seperate drive and not a partition.Grateful for your advice on this.Malcolm Emslie

    I have just added the 8/900 package to my system and I too and have the many problems with the spoilers. I have flown twice witht he 800 series and noticed that before I grab the ils on approach that I hear a ding ding ding and then the bird starts to climb. I am 23 miles out and have not even touched the glidescope yet. Any ideas. The other problem is that I went to fly my 700 and the panel looks like the 800 miss the 700 panel and now it is doing the same thing the 800 and 900 does, nothing works well, on approach before capture it begins to climb. Is the 700 panel supposed to look like the 800 now? Why is the jet driffiting up every time I hit the approach but…

  9. HiI was a PIC767 user and I am using Wideview with 1 server (main instruments) and 3 clients (outside views halfleft-center-halfright). Conected to the server I have 4 monitors: 2x18 inch for the main instruments, 1x19 inch for the Overhead panel and 1x17 inch for the FMC and the trottels.Now my problem with 737NG:- using the PIC767 I stretched the mainpanel over the 2x18 inch monitors to get the main instruments bigger.- with the 737NG i am not able to stretch the undocked mainpanel over the 2 monitors because the pedestal with the whiskey compass is also included in the undocked windows (what I do NOT want).- Is there any possibility to undock "only" the mainpanel witho…

    Dear PMDG,This is the third time I submit a post about this topic.Hope to get a reply this time.Problem regarding 800/900:In the VC-cabin view some lights are missaligned.This is most noticable looking from the fuselage to the wingtip on either side while seated in front of the wing.A) placement of position- and strobelights on wingtips are different on left wing compared to right wing.They are offset on the left wing with the red positionlight floating in front of the wingtip.:( when looking down at the LEFT enginecover you have this nice reflection of the beaconlight...when you go over to the RIGHT side and look down the reflection isn't on the enginecover but rather on…

    Hello everyone!This is my first post and I have a MAJOR problem;Almost every time I load any 737NG aircraft, I get a blue screen telling me that Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to the system and that a physical memory dump has been completed.A computer restart is then required.Has anyone any ideas of how I can sort this out?I've tried changing the V-RAM settings to 'System Managed' but this hasn't worked so far.Any help with this would be grately appreciated,Regards,Andrew Minckley

    I just watched this show on the History Channel and they showed a man named James Price, who made a 737NG sim out in California for FS2004. The aircraft he flew in was PMDG's 737-600/700. He said he built the simulator for 60k and it looked VERY realilistic.

  20. Hi,I have a problem where I can't load the 2D panel. If I do, the 'Loading scenery objects' stays at 0% after pressing the 'Fly now' button and after a couple of seconds I get an error message saying FS9 has crashed.Discussed this problem in another thread some time ago and there was one more user with this problem but I think it's strange if we're the only ones with this problem.Emailed PMDG support and they couldn't reproduce the problem, but hopefully they will still come up with some kind of solution sooner or later.     Will the removal tool be upgraded? Tried removing completely the 737 (need the original 737-700 for a week more..) and the 737-800 & 900 remained in the install directories... (suppose the 700 will work correctly after reinstalling but just to be sure.. )Thank you, Luca

    Hi, I have been practising numerous flights using the FMC. All is well (actually great) except for descending. I have flown the flight in the FMC Manual from KIAD to KJFK with a RWY ILS1104R11 landing using a CAMRN4 approach. Beginning the descent at TOD is a very steep descent into KJFK. Is this real? I was expecting a gradual descent about 3 to 1. I find the 737 needs full speed brake and then I still overrun the airport by about 1500 - 2000 ft because at 10000ft it takes so long to wipe off the speed to 250kts. What am I missing in the manual? I am still to do a good ILS capture.Barry HARRISP4 1.7
