Link's been busted since the 800/900 was released. You guys fixed Sun Country, any chance of fixing this one too? Thanks.

I have gotten an FMC message a few times saying "des path not possible" or something similiar. What does this mean? And, to clear it up, what is the proper procedure for changing alt? I generally just enter an alt in the MCP and press V/S and select an alt.

Hi I belive that British Airways dont actually fly this model of the 737. But just for the shear hell of it, does any one know if any will be painted. Thanks in advance Shaun.

During a descent into LAX following the Palmdale approach to 24R, I recieved a VNAV disconnect at about FL150. I attempted to re-engage VNAV but no luck. What would cause a disconnect? Just out of curiosity, I have been pondering with my fellow teamates and my professional web designer and were thinking about doing a Qantas Virtual Airlines, w/ the PMDG 737. Just to take a poll...would anyone be interested? If there is a current Qantas VA running which seems to be popular, please let me know because I dont want to step on their feet. Thanks guys. -Ryan Davis

Is this a Microsoft thing?I am sitting on the ground in Alaska with the Microsoft weather set to heavy snowstorm. When I hit the pause key, the TAT goes from 5C to 15C and the N1 limiters kick to the 15C setting instead of the 5C setting. To reproduce, park yourself at PANC and set the weather cold and dark. Turn on Batteries and Ground Power, bring up the main panel and watch the the panel gauges very closely as you pause and unpause the sim. This a problem or a issue that you stop getting info to your aircraft when paused so you can't calculate the proper values and go to the defaults?Ray

Posted this before but got no reply? In the 800/900 VC cabinmodel the position and strobe lights on the left wing are positioned to far to the front when viewed along the front edge of the wing from inside the cabin. The red light even is in front of the wingtipOn the outside model the lights are positioned correctly so this isn't an aircraft.cfg issue. Can you please check this?Regards,Haromo

Hello,I'm a deep fan of PMDG and the last release of the 737-800/900has brought me all what I expected. Warm and loud congrats. However, I have a question regarding the FMC.I've been reading carefully the documentation but could find anyanswer.I flew today and encountered some problems:The take-off and the begining of the climb were ok.At some point, because of an important ZFW, the plane couldntreach the assigned FL. I got the FMC allert and dealt it.Later, I've had to descend 1000 feets below due to ATC.I enterred the corresponding level in the FMC, unfortunately, the FMC then engaged the descent mode, while I was not even at the begining of the cruise.Imppossible to get …

PMDG,Guys, you'll see another post about this, but I figured I'd write it up in what I hope is a clear fashion. The course deviation indicator on the HSI presentation (both the APP view in the ND and MAP and the HSI on the bottom half of the EFIS underneath the attitude indicator) does not work correctly when set up for a back course. What it does is flip instantly from one full-scale deviation to the opposite side, instead of scaling smoothly. Of course, this makes it impossible to manually fly a back course approach or track the BC as part of a missed approach procedure. It also makes it impossoble monitor the raw data when flying a BC approach using LNAV.I verified tha…

Hi Guys,Just purchased all of your aircraft, love them.We may have A BUG HERE. I have not had a chance to read the manuals yet so if I am wrong here, can you correct me.I am using the 737-700 in 2D Cockpit mode with the Westjet winglet textures. I do a lot of LOC Back Course approaches, but it is hard to when we have no working CDI needle. If you go to CYQR and on Runway 31 (freq 109.50, course 305 degrees)for example, the needle just jumps from side to side as I try to center the needle. I can use the adf needle on some approaches, but not all of them. The needle should move slowly from side to side and center as well. I had the same problem with the Reality XP Gauges bu…

hi all,in some posts u pmdg guys said that there will be a vc update for the 600/700 version too in some time. but u said also that only people who purchased the 800/900 version will be able to get it.but since i live in europe and dont have a credit card i cant purchase the 800/900 version (although i'd love to).so i have to stick to the 'old' framerate-swallowing vc just because im not able to buy the new version.but i also paid (44

Hi PMDG Team,Thanks for this great product, enjoying it a lot.Yesterday I flew online from EGLL to EKCH and it took a very long while before I could take off.Sometime during taxi I received the 'Insufficient Fuel' message in the FMC.I suspect the fuel prognose calculation is also done while on the ground. Because of the slow movement and the long time it took, that probably was the reason I received the message. Is it true the fuel prognose is done while still on the ground?

During a sharp left or right turn, on climb out, I get an "air conditioning" caution light. This didn't occur with the 736/7.John R. FranklinVictorville, CA

I just got the PMDG 737-800/900 and I have to say that its "THE BEST" damn plane i've ever payed for. I just have one little problem. I can't get the TCAS to work. The test mode goes great but when i get in the air and fly near planes nothing shows up on the TCAS. Its on TA/RA and I looked through the manual for help but couldn't find anything. I'm thinking that it may be FSUIPC because i have some other freeware fighters (F-16 and Typhoon) that have this radar system (requires FSUIPC) which allows you to track AI traffic. The radar doesn't show any AI traffic on it either. I've seen screenshots of it in action so I know it works but I get nothing. Anywaise... I r…

I only fly the 700 (Southwest :) ) but I certainly want to use the new VC model I paid for :) I'm thinking about copying the 700's aircraft.cfg into the 800 to make the 800 fly like the 700. Granted, it'll still have the 800 model but that's okay since I fly from the inside. I know PMDG will release a fix for this, but will this quick-fix of mine work?

Hi All,I just purchased the 800/900 PMDG i downloaded and everything fine however when i go to run the EXE file it keeps displaying the message "pls be advised that you must have the 737NG base product installed". I use a PFC throttle quad, and have an axis mapped to the spoilers. Can't get the spoilers to arm or deploy proportionally...looks like panel gauge and axis input are fighting each other. With the axis disabled, arming the spoilers and disarming them works...but sometimes the indication comes on...sometimes not, and with spoilers armed and throttles at idle (on the gnd) they do not deploy.Closing the center console window and reopening usually will get the indications to synch up again, but cycling the lever back and forth will get it back out of synch in relatively short order.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, D.C.

Hi Guys,First of all, great job!But I've having a little problem on an ILS approach. I always get the single CH warning on the PFD, although both autopilots are on and both NAV's are tuned into the ILS freq. Any idea why or what I am doing wrong? Never had it on the 736/7 before!Regards,Thomas

Hi PMDG,Great job on the 800/900. I've been enjoying it since last night. You simply brought MS Flight Simulator to a whole new level.I have a few questions:1. The 2D gauges quit updating a few times. I have to look to my sides and back so they resume their activities. No big deal but is it because I did something wrong or is it a little bug to be fixed?2. The taxi lights and runways light quit working once. There was no way I could turn them back on. And I could see that they were off from outside the plane so it's not just the 2D panel view. Another bug to be fixed?3. I assume by installing 800/900 it updates my 600/700 as well, right? Because now my panels for …

Gents- Please remember that the 800-900 are much longer and the chances for tail strikes are greater, a correct rotation is no fater than 2-2.5 with a hold around 8-9 to postive RA then off you go! Tail strikes are quite nasty to FS so I thought I would save some of you ;-) Please RTFM! The TCAS test is correctly simulated including the amount of time to run the test so keep that in mind. I hope you have as much fun as we have had in testing![h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Hey everybody,I read the requirements for the -800/-900 and saw that win xp is required to run pmdg's new great product. However, this was also the case for the 600/700, but on my computer with win 2000 the program works fine.I was wondering if windows 2000 will do the job too.Cheers.Jasper

Hi PMDG,Nice effort on the -800!Unfortunately, there seem to be quite a few bugs!!First of all, departure out of EDDB on the BELID 2S SID.I won't ellaborate on the obsolete parts of the procedure, I'll restrict myself to the problem part:The procedure calls for a right turn onto the 252 radial outbound from FWE (113.30)Take a look at this picture:http://users.skynet.be/mark.foti/VorLoc.jpgI'm flying in CWS as the autopilot would have wanted to track the radial inbound to the station. Note the FD trying to fight me!I'm not sure, but shouldn't the loc deviation indicator below the EADI be the other way around?Secondly, take a look at this screenie:http://users.skynet.be/mar…
